Thanks Misha. Well ! If JP pretty wants the update they are welcome to use it. But I don't think so they would like it if I just barge in and posted the update.

Misha, I know there have been couple times when members have been unable to access this forum because of minor server problem which gets rectified in few minutes. However, we never had any serious access problem accessing this forum. I am sure JP also must be having similiar kind of problem sometimes. That is the reason I want to know what do you mean when you say 'some people are unable to access this site'? Can you elaborate.

I have been with India-forum for a long time now, and never seen anyone having major access problem.

When I was on Jassi Pretty forum..I noticed that some of them were literally pleading for people to update....and I gave them India-forums link to check...few people replied back that they cannot access India-forums. So please update.

So I thought instead of me posting deadly's update there. It would be nice if deadly itself do that. And if deadly has registered there I don't see what the problem could be in posting the update. They should be thrilled to have deadly as one of the members who help in posting the summary.

Yes, we did have a minor problem earlier, but as you see there is no problem.

I do not have a problem with sharing the updates, never did. However, this is not my call to make. Vijay, the administrator and owner of this forum, and Deadly will be the ones to decide on this. I think it would be best if JP moderators or the ones taking decision for JP should approach Vijay.

I am very surprised that the very people who were so very possessive about their update and even type an offensive 'DO NOT COPY' for each of their update, are okay about posting updates from another forum. What happens to the exclusivity that they so closely guard?

Well..I would just leave it to deadly to make a decision. I totally understand what you say when they do not want summary to be copied.

I can also understand if deadly or vijay decides not too. We are here to discuss on some topics and not hurt anyone's feelings. So that is what I like to follow. As I said previously...no offense...no hard feelings. I am here to make good friends and have a good discussion going on.

True and this forum offer you that- good healthy discussion. Also, you get to interact with people from all over the world.

And, no offense taken.

I have no reservations or hold backs on any of the members. And we have been very open minded with the updates and sharing from the very beginning and for the Jassi updates its solely Deadly's call if she would like her updates to be published on other forums or groups. And I would not like to influence her decision on this.

May be this is the main reason why people love to be part of India-Forums. Moreoever, India-Forums does not belong to one individual and there's certainly an element of "feel good factor" for all the members who are part of India-Forums. Most of us feel that this forum is really addictive once they get hooked to it on a daily basis.

We have moderators who always tried to keep the forum clean so that it is a nice platform for healthy discussions.

As of Jassi_Pretty group I can't comment much on them as they always had some problem with our forum and its success.

Regarding the uptime of India-Forums.com its 10x better then Yahoo Groups which is down for maintainence most of the time.

My idea had always been to unite all small groups to make a larger group so that people do not have to go to different URLs to get the updates. As you all know we are the first destination for any Indian show on most of the search engines it will get even better day by day. So my appeal to these groups to give this idea a thought and we can work out on a mid way which will be mutually agreeable and benefit all Indian TV Show viewers.

I guess everybody is waiting for my decision. I am such an important person !!! 😉Like I said before I don't mind the update being posted anywhere. Because the whole point of the update is that people who don't get to see the show might have a clue what happened in the show. So does it really matter where it is posted or who have posted it ??? No. But Smisha I don't think so JP website would like me to just come in and post the update like that because of some past issue. So I leave it to them entirely to do whatever they want. Vijay and Ash thanks for the support. One of the reason I really like this website is because of the fact that you guys are so open-minded and patient.

If there were any problems previously...I am not aware so I won't suggest you do that(post at JP). I know you don't mind updating...but it has to be appreciated. So I understand your reasoning.

So lets forget that this issue was raised. Sorry for bringing up though. I don't know any history behind this. I am new in both forums.
