'I don't want to run after films if I've good telly offers'
One hasn't been seeing much of you after your role as Raj in Jassi...
When I entered the show I knew that the character of Raj will do well. But then it got lost and I had to move on.
But I must say that it was a wonderful character. I did take a short break after that, but very soon I will be seen in more projects on TV.
What are the projects you are doing?...
Till then, the viewers can watch me in Nach Baliye.
I am doing BR Chopra's Babul and a few other films. But when I have been accepted with open arms on television, why should I run after films?
But as far as direction is concerned, I have three scripts ready. It's a just a matter of time before I decide to choose one.
I always loved dancing and till date I have just done three songs in my entire film career. My first song was from DDLJ. I was made to sit down and the same happened with Kacche Dhaage.
Only in Diljale, I was allowed to move around a bit.
But even I'm surprised at myself. I have actually started thinking of dancing on stage in public. But my aim now is to make Saroj Khan give me not Rs 101, but Rs 1,001.
