Welcome to this Forum, Ami2004.
Let me respond to your question...I will be brief, so it will just be the skeleton of the big story, but at least you will get an idea.
Armaan is the chairman of Gulmohor. When he realized that the company is not doing well. He gave about 30Lakh rupees to his Assistant/Financial Manager, Jassi, to open another company called Kohinoor. Jassi is the owner of Kohinoor.
Armaan lets Kohinoor takeover Gulmohor. He knew that with all the financial mess that Gulmohor was in, the bank might take over the company, so before that happened, he sells it to another company, which is none other than Kohinoor. Since Jassi is the owner of Kohinoor, he knows (he thinks) it is in save hands. Because of Nandu smartness in shares, Kohinoor has been making money in investments. This money helps Gulmohor in time of crises. Only few know about Kohinoor i.e Armaan, Raj, Jassi, Billu (but not all the details) and Nandu. Purab does not know about Kohinoor yet, though he knows something shady is going-on. Arundhati, who worked for Purab (this was not known to Armaan/Jassi), and who was acting as an outside financial consultant for Gulmohor, almost found out about this other company 'Kohinoor'.
Purab is the 'takeover king' and also a friend of Jassi. His yearly turnover is about 400 crores. Armaan is nervous that Purab might influence Jassi in some way (romantic/as a friend), and Jassi and Purab will get together and takeover Gulmohor and Kohinoor (in actual).
Hope that helps.
