Chapter 6:
With a beaming childlike smile, Sid entered his luxurious apartment. His only thoughts were of Angel Face.
He threw himself back on the bed, still reminiscing the beautiful moments he had spent with her..His thoughts:
"Kya jaadu Kardiya hai tumne Angel Face
Ke har Pal har Lamha mein sirf tumhara khayyal
atta hai
kaise rahoon ab tere bina"
He closed his eyes and the same mischievous yet adorable smile lingered for a while on his face as if it had been forgotten there.
Suddenly he got up & pulled out his mobile
Sid : Hi Dad
Raj : Sid Putter
Sid : Dad call mom and put phone on speaker
Raj : Sab teek toh hai nah
Sid : haan haan dad just call mom
Simmi arrived and in her usual childlike manner said
"Ab yaad aaye humari...itne din hojaye aur. ."
"I'm in LOVE" Shouted Sid
There was a deafening silence. Raj and Simmi stared at each other with their mouths wide open
Raj " Phir se bholna kya kaha"
Sid "I'm in Love Dad mujhe pyar hogaya"
Simmi face lit up "Awww my son is in Love, mere bete ko pyar hogaya so sweet"
After a slight hesitation she asked
"Ladki hai nah"
Sid totally bewildered by his mother's question
"Matlab? ?? Of course Ladki hai. ..I'm telling u I'm in love and you're asking me Ke Ladki hai""
Simmi a little awkward and a little uneasy continued
"Woh actually hai nah" trying to put up a smile
"actually maine tumhe jab bhi koi khubsoorat ladki ki tasveer dikiye you said u were not interested. U never dated anyone, didn't have a girlfriend, didn't believe in love..."
she paused for a moment "so mujhe laga..."
Sid "kya laga Mom"
Simmi "mujhe laga ke tum woh woh Gay ho"
Sid was in utter shock "MOM!!!! R U Serious. You thought I was i was Gay...Dad can u believe Mom"
Sid was still in disbelief when Simmi broke the silence and said "sorry nah Sid...anyway chudo.. what's she like?"
trying to change the topic.
The mention of Angel Face lightened Sids mood as he closed his eyes
"She's so beautiful. The most beautiful girl in the world..uske baal uske ankhen uski baatein. .bas dil karta hai Ke bas dekhta rahoon aur sunta rahoon"
He was still in his dreamworld when Simmi asked her name
Sid "Naam. .."
Simmi "haan naam. ..shaadi ke card pe naam toh likna hai...Phir itni sari tayariyan jewellery shopping, clothes shopping, arrangements. ."
Sid "Mom Mom Control.."
Simmi "kyon control my son's in love toh obviously shaadi toh hogi. .."
She was interupted by Sid once again.
"I don't know her name yet..and I don't even know if she feels the same way about me" Sid said in a cute sheepish manner.
Raj was in disbelief "you haven't even asked her name...The Siddarth Khurana who runs the entire Khurana Empire hasn't even asked a girl he loves her name" deliberately mocking him
Sid in his defence argued that he had only just realised his own feelings for her
"But I promise u Mom Dad that the next time I see her I will tell her how I feel...
Simmi
"...aur Phir jaldi se shaadi ke date fix kar lenah. .my God I have so much to do..."
Sid
"okay okay Mom Dad Bye talk later before Mom starts choosing names for my kids too" he laughed and disconnects the phone. Sid stood up and looked up at the heavens and said
"Saath dena ...Make it happen...plz let her be in Love with me too"
Roshni apartment:
Roshni entered her apartment and threw the shopping bags on the couch, exhausted from the days events. She noticed Rahul and Soniya having an argument
Soniya
"No way No damn way is HE coming to the party"
Rahul
"But sweetheart. .."
Soniya "don't sweetheart me...its not going to happen..."
Roshni interupted
"hey guys what's up??? And y are you both arguing"
Rahul in his cute adorable way said
"Arguing and me...I could never fight with my sweetie pie...its her who is arguing, I'm only trying to pacify..."
Soniya "oh really mein argue kar rahi hoon. ..as if I don't have better things to do than discuss Him. Just make it clear to Him that he is not welcome or invited to my Bday bash"
Roshni was not only confused but also in shock
"U know about your surprise Bday party"
Soniya with a awww your so cute face
"You guys seriously think that u can keep secrets from me...that's so adorable...but I know you guys inside out and from Top to bottom"
Rahul in a mischievous tone said raising his eyebrows
"top to bottom hey"
Soniya looked at him and blushed a little.
Roshni "urghh guys I'm still here remember... stop with the romance and by the way who's He???"
Rahul & Soniya in sync said "Siddarth Khurana"
Roshni stood rooted to her spot
Soniya "can u believe it Roshni he wants to come to the Party...like seriously. ..He had the nerve to..."
Rahul quickly in defence of Sid said
"But he was just asking, and you were so rude to him:
Soniya now really annoyed " oh really now. I was rude to Siddarth Khurana who invented the word himself"
Rahul "what I meant was you could have been more subtle"
Soniya "really oops silly me I should have said Siddarth Khurana Jee I'm so sorry but u cannot come to my party because I hate you plz mind maat karna"
They continued their ranting whilst Roshni felt an uneasy pain grip her stomach. Just the mere mention of his name gave her goosebumps. The thought of having to come face to face with Siddarth Khurana after all these years, the thought of facing her fears of him made her feel uneasy.
It was not long before Rahul and Soniya noticed Roshni uneasiness and realised that they had to change the topic.
Rahul "so anyway there are a million things left to do for this party so I need to get going...and you my Sweetheart get some beauty sleep and leave all the arrangements to me. Don't want my girl with circles under her eyes on the big day. I want you to look beautiful"
Soniya "matlab aage peeche I don't look beautiful" she said glaring at him
Rahul "You see Roshni is ko mocka chaiye mujhse Larne ke liye... ..mein bechara abla naara..."
Roshni and Rahul hi fied each other and laughed while Soniya stood there pouting...
Rahul made his way to the door and turned and said
"And by the way Soniya you look beautiful to me every time every minute of the day Love you" and blew a kiss at her. Soniya blushed.
Soniya turned to Roshni and asked about her shopping. Roshni told her she had bought a legal and pulled it out of the bag.
"Wait a minute this isn't the lehenga I choose" confused she looked into her bag and found a note.
On the note, it read "Your beauty is not defined by the clothes you wear but by the fact that you don't know how beautiful you are. Whatever you wear u will look gorgeous it's you who will add grace to whatever you wear and not the other way round. But still I wanted you to have this as a gift. Wish I could see you in this
From a special friend"
Roshni immediately knew who it was. A smile was brought upon her face.
"Arre I toh forgot to ask you name", she said to herself.
Next chapter will be a special one!!! Will Siddarth be able to see Roshni in that lehenga? Will identities be finally revealed?

Roshni let go of Siddarth feeling thorns in her heart. She slowly backed away.
Siddarth was shocked to the core. "R...RR.Roshni?".
They both turned around, their backs facing each other.
Will destiny have other plans for them, now that they know who each other is? Will they ever be able to let go of the past?

Chapter 7A: Sorry I had to divide this chapter into 2 parts.
The night turned into day and the day turned into Evening
Rahul was getting ready for Soniya Bday party but felt a little conscious of the fact that Sid was not invited to a party he had arranged.
Looking over to Sid who looked extremely busy on his laptop.
"Sorry yaar... I'd invite you but you know how it is..."
Sid looked up from his laptop as if he was not at all deterred by the situation
"No worries Bro. ..In fact I wouldn't have been able to make it to the party even if I was invited. I have a really important Dinner Date with some Chinese delegates and will be busy most of the night"
Rahul gave a sigh of relief
"Oh sounds good so we're cool right" looking towards Sid waiting for his reaction
"Of course yaar... you enjoy the party and ehhh wish Soniya a Happy Birthday from me...that is if she'll accept it"
Rahul nodded his head and said his good bye still feeling the guilt of leaving Sid behind.
As soon as the door shut, Sid looked up from his laptop.
"Sorry Bro but I have to come to the Party. I need to see Roshni and apologise for all the nasty things I did to her as a child. I've carried this weight on my back for a long time and it's time to set things right"
He wore his tuxedo with a black bow tie. The suit was black and well fitted. It made him look even more handsome, and when he smiled at himself it just added to his charm. Looking in the mirror he took a deep breath and hoped that Roshni would find it in her heart to forgive him for all the pain he had caused.
At the Party:
Guests had gathered and all the arrangements were done beautifully. The decorations were all done in white with pink balloons. Rahul made sure everything was done according to Soniya's wishes.
Although Soniya knew about the surprise party, she didn't know about the preparations.
Roshni was wearing the same lehenga Siddarth gave her. She was looking magical in it. Her complex was somewhat different.
The lehenga brought out her beauty. She was already beautiful as Siddarth said but this time she was looking gorgeous. She looked so happy.
Will something destroy that?
Rahul and Roshni was waiting for Soniya to come. The lights were turned off.
"She's coming", Rahul whispered
Everyone kneeled down hiding.
As Soniya walked in, everyone stood up and screamed surprise!!
A big smile appeared on her face.
Her black dress with her gorgeous hair on her shoulders made Rahul continue to stare at her.
"I know about the surprise remember", she laughed.
Roshni walked over to her. "Happy birthday sissy", she said hugging her tightly.
Then Soniya glanced at Rahul .
Roshni rolled her eyes.
"Oh ho".
Roshni came in front of Rahul and clicked her fingers making him come out of in a trance.
"Yaar how did my jellybean become so gorgeous", Rahul wouldn't stop looking at her.
Soniya looked down with her cheeks slightly going red.
Then she looked up." One minute what did you call me? Jellybean?".
She chased him around.
Roshni put her hands on her face embarrassed. "They love each other but they still won't stop this childish behaviour".
Then Rahoniya finally got tired and stopped.
Rahul pulled her into a hug.
"Ahem", Roshni coughed.
"Sis why are you always ruining our romance? You should be called the queen of ruining romance.", Rahul and Soniya laughed.
Roshni smacked him smiling too.
Today was a happy day. Soniya's birthday Roshni was proud that her sister was growing up. Soniya was just a few months younger than Roshni but for some reason Roshni always treated her like a very small sister. Rahul and Soniya were becoming more closer. That one person was missing though.

Siddarth was in his car driving up to Soniya's party. He remembered when he had saw a text message on Rahul's phone saying where the party was. A message Rahul was sending to his friend for invitation.
"Roshni I know I am not worthy of your time but just give me five minutes I will say sorry for all the things I have done. This connection that I feel between me and you, I need to know why this is happening", Siddarth said to himself.
How was he to know that Roshni herself was his angel face?
"Roshni", he sighed.
"Roshni meaning light. Sadly, I ruined that light didn't I", a tear slipped from his eye.
Suddenly something caught his eye.
He stopped the car.
He reached out for the back seat in his car and found something that he lost a few days ago.
"Arre yeh toh angel face ki magazine gain".
He had lost but now he found it once again.
He ripped the page which had her on it and put it standing up on his car window.
He continued driving smiling at the picture.
"I can't forget you and why would I?", Siddarth thought.
He was lost in her picture when suddenly he saw a truck ahead. He quickly turned his car aside. Nothing happened accept that his knuckles hit off the car making it bleed. He wasn't upset though. In fact he smiled. "Pyaar ki nishani", he smiled.

Soniya was cutting her birthday cake.
She fed the cake to Roshni first indicating how important Roshni was to her. And that for her Roshni will always be first.
Then she went to fed Rahul . Rahul stood there with his mouth open. Soniya smirked and smudged the cake all over his face making everyone including Roshni laugh.
"Soniya!!", Rahul shouted.
Soniya couldn't stop laughing.
Roshni then realised media was also there and stopped laughing.
"Soniya go help him wash his face now", she said trying to stop laughing.
"But Roshni", Soniya complained.
"No buts just do it", Roshni commanded.
And so Rahul and Soniya went to the washroom.
Just as they went, Siddarth entered. He was looking hot and everyone was looking at him just like he was still the heartthrob of every girl.
Around his bleeding knuckles there was a piece of cloth stuck on it.
He walked like a boss.
"Abey yaar how will I know which one is Roshni", He said looking around.
He turned around and a basket of petals flew into the air and fell on them. Them as in Siddarth and Roshni.
Dil ne kar liya aitbaar hum ko ho gaya tum se pyaar
Jab se mile ho mujhe oh jaane jana
Roshni's waist was automatically captured by Siddarth's hands. He continued caressing her waist. They shared an eye lock.
Tab se hai jaana kya hai dil ka lagana
Yeh adayen teri kar gayi mujhe deewana
Roshni looked the other way. She didn't know how to react.
Dil ne kar liya aitbaar hum ko ho gaya tum se pyaar...
Roshni slowly reached out at the back to take Siddarth's hands off her waist. She took his hands and put it down. But Siddarth was still lost in her somehow.
Jab se mile ho mujhe oh jaane jana
Tab se hai jaana kya hai dil ka lagana
Yeh adayen teri kar gayi mujhe deewana
Dil ne kar liya aitbaar hum ko ho gaya tum se pyaar...
He continued looking at her. "Eh hello?",Roshni said hesitantly.
Someone suddenly passed by and knocked off the cloth off his hand revealing his bleeding knuckles.
Roshni noticed this. She quickly took his hands and looked at it.
"How did this happen?", she looked on.
Siddarth didn't answer. Roshni then pinched him.
"Oh this! It was a small accident no worries...".
Roshni made him sit on a nearby bench. "Vaise what are you doing here??".
Siddarth was reminded of why he was here.
"Actually I came here to meet someone", Siddarth answered.
"Who?", Roshni asked while putting some medicine on his hand.
"Someone from a very long time ago.", Siddarth said looking at how she was taking her of his wound.
She tore a piece of her dupatta and wrapped it around his hand then leaned it to tear the remaining bit of the dupatta. As she leaned it, Siddarth's other hand automatically reached out to touch her hair but by that time she had already finished.
"Long time matlab?", Roshni said continuing the conversation.
"Matlab a long time ago there was this girl who I have hurt so I need to apologize to her", Siddarth replied.
"Oh ex girlfriend?", Roshni asked.
"No", Siddarth laughed.
"Vaise boyfriend hain tere paas"?, Siddarth was hoping to get a no.
"Yep I do have one", Roshni answered making Siddarth feel hurt.
"Who?".
"Shahrukh Khan!". This made both of them laugh and Siddarth was relieved she wasn't serious.
Then Siddarth pointed out to her lehenga. "You actually wore it". Siddarth adored her with the lehenga. He felt a bundle of happiness seeing her wear his favourite colour lehenga.
"Yeah after all it was from a friend", Roshni smiled at him.
"What about you what are you doing here?" Siddarth asked.
"Yah it's my friends birthday".
Siddarth suddenly thought of Roshni. He didn't know the girl he was looking for was in front of him. But will he know soon? For how long can destiny play its game on them? For how long can fate keep them together?
