5th July written update

Hello people… sorry my dear JMDians cudn't update last week. So here's 5^th July eppy.

Short Update:

1) Mohini's Svayamvar at Swarna Nagari is arranged. Chand-Mund and Shumbh-Nishumbh along with others take part.

2) All the mighty princes including Chand-Mund fail.

3) Chand-Mund tries to forcibly abduct Mohini. Shumbh Nishumbh saves her.

4) Mohini married both Shumbh and Nishumbh.

5) Both the brothers want to spend time with Mohini alone.

6) They reach a settlement that one day Mohini will spend with one brother and the other day with other.

Detailed Update:

Shumbh and Nishumbh enquire about Mohini from their guards when they say they didn't see anyone. Shumbh and Nishumbh slap them and shout on them. One of the informers enters saying its Mohini's svayamvar and chand and Mund are also participating in it. Shumbh and Nishumbh laugh as they confidently feel that when Mohini will choose them it would be great to watch Chand and Mund's defeated faces. The svayamvar begins at Swarna Nagari. Shumbh Nishumbh arrives there and Chand Mund are seated. There's tension and discomfort in the room. Mohini's father thanks everyonw to be the part of the event. The condition of svayamvar is to pick up the gadda placed in front on the table and break the statue with it. Chand gets offended and asks have they been called to make fool of themselves. He feels the condition kept is too trivial a task for them to oblige. Mohini's father says this is a miraculous gadda as this is the same gadda that Vishnuji had used to kill Hrinash when he took Varaha avatar. So only the strongest person can do that. Mohini is called in the svayamvar. All the participants are mesmerized by Mohini's beauty. Svayamvar begins. All the princes fail when Chand and Mund get up to win the svayamvar. All the Gods gets tensed sensing that their plan of creating a rift between Shumbh and Nishumbh will fail if Chand Mund succeed. But they fail and Shumbh and Nishumbh make fun of them. Mohini is also tensed. Just then Chand and Mund were about to succeed Devraj Indra throws a garland that makes it difficult for them to pick up the weapon. The gadda falls on Chand and he thinks he won't survive. Shumbh and Nishumbh gets up and pick up the gadda together. Mohini is relieved. They together break the statue. Chand and Mund are disgusted and decide they won't let their enemy win. They try to forcibly take away Mohini. Shumbh and Nishumbh run after them.

Shvetketu asks Sumukhi that why doesn't Maa Durga comes herself to kill demons. Sumukhi replies its because at the first instance God always encourages us to fight our own demons only at the later stage Maa Durga herself comes to kill the evil. She adds that's the reason Maa Durga takes different forms. Shvetketu says then he'll also have to prove his valour. Kalketu is beating the Rishis but they laugh at him and says that Maa Durga has chosen Shvetketu to bring the change in demons. They ask him if he's confident that Shvetketu has died. He laughs at them saying he fell from such a huge height its impossible for him to survive. But the sages says only Maa Durga can kill. Its her will not his. Listening to this he starts badly beating the sages. They wince in pain.

Chand and Mund take away Mohini and Shumbh and Nishumbh follow them. Mohini calls for help. Shumbh and Nishumbh reach the spot. All the Gods are happy seeing the recent happenings as they feel it will widen the rift between Chand-Mund and Shumbh-Nishumbh as well. There's a fierce battle between the two. Chand Mund are defeated. Mohini shows equal affection to both Shumbh and Nishumbh and gets married to both. All the Devtas are watching it. Shumbh takes hold of Mohini's hand and takes her to the room and locks it while Nishumbh keeps calling them. Nishumbh is angry at Shumbh and knocks his room's door. Shumbh is angry. Nishumbh demands an explanation. They are almost at the fight. Devtas are happy as their plan is working well. Nishumbh demands to know how will Mohini divide her time between the two of them. Shumbh is angry to hear that and Nishumbh denies waiting further. They reach a settlement that one day Mohini will spend with Shumbh and one day with Nishumbh. And also that whoever breaks this agreement will be punished by the other. Mohini is satisfied.
