We would like to congratulate you on the much success of JPSYA!!!
As avid fans of the show, we are attracted to the star cast line up, their portrayal of their respective characters, and most importantly the progressiveness of the storyline. We are trilled and excited to have a show that is liberating in concept and that is relatable to the mass viewer-ship. The dynamic cast and crew are most proficient in their talent, which keeps us viewers keenly attuned to the show's progression.
As loyal fans, we are noticing the predictability of the storyline. In recent episodes, we saw trends of un-relatable plots, such as the suggestiveness of ill-mannered behavior between Veer and Ayesha, the increased hatred by Kamini for Ayesha which is really unwarranted, and finally the diminished well fare of Nihal. We completely understand that each show must have some 'good' and some 'bad' characters, which creates for good television drama; but we also would like to see the characters of this show evolve into their full potential. It seems that the characters are in limbo as a result of storyline. For instance, Ayesha has become so spineless and timid towards everyone, we are eagerly wishing that the fiery, yet sensible young lady comes back. Veer, who at times seems very unsure of himself, really needs to gain the confidence to speak his mind to his family. Finally, Kamini, we would like for her to step away from the 'evil' mother role and try to relate or at least engage and work with Ayesha in the up-bringing of Nihal. Additionally, we would like to see Ayesha and the other members discuss about Jai and Divya and their lives before and after marriage.
We would like to point out some areas in the story which we as viewers feel concerned about:
1.) The lack of development of Veer and Ayesha's love story. Their fresh pairing and chemistry is the bonus of the show. Please do not deprive the viewers of a good love story, in lieu of 'kitchen politics'.
2.) More emphasis should be given to Veer-Nihal bonding and Veer-Ayesha-Nihal bonding. That is the USP of the show and should not be compromised.
3.) Veer being more assertive towards his mother and his general evolution from a 'mama's boy' to a confident, business man. The current character seems very paradoxical.
4.) More independence and power to be given to Ayesha, please do not reduce her to the stereotypical timid heroine. We love her strengthen and her confidence and most importantly her fiery attitude.
5.) There seems to be many loose ends and unfinished business in the story, like Divya's Will which appointed Ayesha as the legal guardian of Nihal. This issue was never mentioned again. Also, the mystery surrounding Jai and Divya's death seems to have been left out too. Additionally, we would know the where abouts of Rajdeep and Susbash, we think both are great contenders for a love-triangle in Veer and Ayesha's relationship.
7.) Finally, we would really like for you to re-vamp the attire for the respective characters, more specifically Veer and Ayesha. We are avidly requesting that Veer be outfitted with suits that is symmetrical to his height (which would mean a three buttoned jacket that falls slightly below his hip, a succinct combination of colored coordinated suite and shirt colors (light colored suits and shirts do not mix well), and finally to have an overall well tailored look for the character). In Regards to the character of Ayesha, we would like to see her wear salwar suits that tailored to her height (above the knee) with a modern fit. Please adhere to giving her an overall current/modern look.
We understand that you have to work within a given framework by the channel's policy. But we would really appreciate if you maintained the youthfulness and the progressive nature of the show and retain it's essence. Additionally we are eagerly waiting for the show to have a positive storyline. As avid fans, we are much attached to the show and would like to think that our feedback and concerns are answered.
Additionally, we request that team join India Forum and view our comments and ideas pertaining to the overall show and the performance of the actors.
