23/12 Written Update

I'm kind of getting impatient for the entry of the second guy – I hope it comes soon…Until then, on with the update.

Shaelin hands up on Nikita and Aradhana remarks that they are both always so caught up in the family and work that they never have time for themselves. She adds that she's happy with the holiday and now they'll spend all their time together. Some time later the car comes to a halt and Shaelin discovers a flat tire.

He asks Aradhana to sit in the dhaba whilst he fixes it. Aradhana is shown sipping tea on her own where a newly married couple get out of their car and asks her to take their picture. Aradhana does so and they chat for a few minutes by which time Shaelin calls her over. Aradhana joins him and as they drive of he asks if she knows the couple.

Aradhana replies that she doesn't but says that after meeting them she remembers her own honeymoon. Aradhana tries to talk to him but he's distracted in his own thoughts.

House…

Vrinda is with the laundry man who asks about Aradhana. Dadu replies that she's away and Dharma [Laundry man] tells Vrinda that the clothes will be back in two days, adding that the whole system was made Aradhana. Nimila and Dadu [who has a coughing fit] both agree that the whole house runs on Aradhana's system. Vrinda storms of in jealousy.

Shimla…

Aradhana takes out some clothes whilst Shaelin is outside talking to Nikita. He apologises for snapping at her and says that he didn't want to come here but had to as it was Aradhana's birthday. Nikita smirks and tells him not to worry as she will have her own fun at a resort.

Hotel room…

Aradhana finishes getting ready and looks at herself in a long skirt and top. Shaelin comes in and with mock-seriousness apologises for coming in to the wrong room. Aradhana tells him to stop joking and asks him what he thinks. Shaelin smiles and replies that she looks beautiful.

He goes to freshen up and a few seconds later his mobile goes of with an SMS. Aradhana picks it up but before she can read it, Shaelin takes the mobile of her and says that he was expecting an important message. He hurriedly reads the SMS by Nikita and deletes it before tellins Aradhana that he's made the arrangement for a trek.

Aradhana asks if they can't go for a long walk instead; just like the one at their honeymoon. Shaelin says that they'll go for a swim instead and leaves without listening to her as a nervous Aradhana says to herself that she can't swim.

Pool…

Shaelin is in the pool as Aradhana stands to one side and takes pictures. She tells him to come out as she's bored sitting on her own and he asks her to come in. Aradhana protests that she can't swim as Shaelin tries to drag in. He loses his temper and asks why they came here if she didn't want to have fun. He gets out the pool and says that it's been ten years since they married but she hasn't learnt swimming and leaves in a huff.

Later…

Shaelin gets a call from Nikita who comments that he looks so angry. Shaelin asks how she knows that he's angry and Nikita tells him to turn – Shaelin does so and a happy Nikita smiles at him. Shaelin goes up to her and asks her what she's doing here.

She replies that she came here for company. Shaelin warns her that if Aradhana sees her here then there'll be a big problem.

Back at the pool Aradhana berates herself saying that it was her fault for not listening to Shaelin. She goes inside and Shaelin, whose with Nikita, spots her and they hide. Aradhana walks past and a relieved Shaelin tells Nikita that she better not be seen by Aradhana.

Nikita gives him her room number and he says that he'll arrange something before leaving.

Room…

Aradhana paces her room and rings Shaelin just as he comes in. Aradhana apologises for spoiling his mood and says that he's right. She asks her to come with her for swimming and promises that she won't make any mistakes this time and he can teach her. She drags him out to the pool where a worried Shaelin spots Nikita.
