17/12 Written Update

Hey guys, belated update for the 17^th. Again, much love would be given to anyone who can spare 20 minutes a week to help me with the updates. I'm only a PM away!

Recap:

Shaelin refuses Aradhana's request for a child. Dadu and Nirmila talk to him.

Update:

Aradhana sees Shaelin watching her from the doorway with a thoughtful look. She tells him that she had no talked to them but it's there desire to see them with a family. She smiles as she tells him that even Simran had talked to him about this. Shaelin tells her that he understands what the family wants but asks her what she wants. Aradhana is confused and replies that it's not about her, but them.

Shaelin asks if they need a child after ten years of marriage. Aradhana is upset but tells Shaelin that she doesn't know why but now she has a wish to see her own child. He promises to think about it and Aradhana is overjoyed. He smiles and gets up to leave but stops and watches Aradhana's obvious joy.

Kitchen…

Nirmila asks Aradhana about Shaelin's reply. Aradhana smiles shyly and Nirmila says that she knows the answer and they should celebrate with a special dinner. Bharat overhears and asks if they want anything from the market for their dinner. Aradhana asks for some ingredients and Sagar arrives asking for some help with homework. Aradhana goes with him to his room as Nirmila looks frustrated that everyone bothers Aradhana.

Office…

Shaelin sits in his cabin as he remembers Dadu and Nirmila's words from the night before as well as Aradhana's desire to have a child.

House…

Aradhana receives a packet and smiles at the card from Shaelin. She opens up the packet and is surprised to see the skimpy nighty.

Office…

Shaelin gets a call from Aradhana who thanks him for the gift and asks him to come early tonight as she's making his favourite dish. Shaelin agrees and Aradhana shyly adds that she loves him as well before hanging up.

Later…

Nirmila is with the family and tells them that she wants everyone here to do their own work from now on and not bother Aradhana as she is always running after everyone. Vrinda butts in saying that it's not them but Aradhana who interferes in everyone's lives. Nirimila replies that she had gathered everyone here to tell them this and not hear their opinions. She adds that nobody should come to know about her decision.

Later…

Bharat is sitting with Sagar trying to get him to do Maths. Aradhana laughs and tells him that no matter how hard he tries, Sagar won't understand it easily and offers to teach him. Bharat refuses and sends her away. Aradhana is confused but heads out and is surprised to Simran mending a rip in her clothes. Aradhana offers to do it but Simran says that she will wear something else and leaves.

Aradhana offers to help Nirmila with cutting the fruit but Nirmila refuses. Aradhana wonders why everyone is doing their work as Nirmila smiles and Aradhna realises that this is her doing. She says that she is happy to work for her family but if Nirmila really wants to see her happy then she should bring Akshay's bride to the house. Nirmila is shocked.

Office…

Shaelin is with a worried looking Akshay who tries to tell Shaelin about the money as Nikita barges in. Shaelin loses his temper and asks her if she has no manners. Akshay leaves.

House…

Aradhana finishes her cooking and Simran tells her to get dressed.

Road…

Nikita is walking of in a huff when Shaelin follows her in his car and signals for her to get in. He apologises and offers to take her out to dinner. Nikita agrees but says that she wants to go where he takes Aradhana.

As Shaelin and Nikita dine at the restaurant, Aradhana is shown getting ready and continuously calls Shaelin who doesn't pick up.

Much, much later…

Aradhana wakes up from her position at the dining table as she hears a car in the driveway. She heads towards the doors where she sees Shaelin stumbling home drunk. He brishes past her and collapses on the couch.

Aradhana is angry with Shaelin and asks him what Dadu would have thought if he had seen his condition. Shaelin apologises and says that he had to entertain clients last night and thought she might have fell asleep and so didn't want to disturb her.
