I don't think he's madly in love with her yet. He cares for her deeply. But he doesn't know the current Neha enough to love her because the current Neha is yet to form. She's definitely forming (kind, considerate, forgetful, forgiving) but yet to form completely into a woman.
The reason Aman wants to marry Neha, is because Neha reminds him of the time he was happy, i.e. his childhood. In an earlier episode, he himself wondered if Neha was the key to his happiness. The fact that he wondered if she was the "key" rather than the "reason" for his happiness, seems to point towards Aman not necessarily loving her yet.
I'm hoping that the show will delay Neha/Aman marriage and instead focus on Neha journey. And through that journey, we'll see Aman supporting her and falling in love with her. That's why I'm a bit hopeful that the school/education track has somewhat started.
