Vinny Arora who plays the lovely character of Nishi in Balaji Telefilms' popular show on Sony TV, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar is happy that she is part of a show where a lot of prominence is being given to the realistic side of storytelling.

The girl considers marriage' to be beautiful', and feels that true love never dies on a divorce paper. And this is exactly what her show depicts in a really natural way.

Says Vinny, "I simply love the aspect that none of us are allowed to wear the loud make-up. We do not have scenes where we are seen overacting to prove a point. We are showing a story that audiences can very normally connect to, and this is the USP of our show."

Talking about the issues that a married couple can have, Vinny avers, "The problem shown between Neil and Ragini are so logical. If a relationship breaks owing to certain misunderstandings, the love definitely does not die. And when the kids come along and give them an opportunity to re-uinte, it is a blissful situation. And one can see all the emotions related to this in the eyes of our characters, Neil and Ragini."

Ask her whether she finds it logical when the parents think of re-uniting in order to teach their kids about giving themselves another chance with marriage, and Vinny states, "Yes, it is surely possible. As I said, if there is a genuine love between a couple, it will never die even after years."

Very well-said, Vinny!!

I completely disagree with the actress:

There is nothing logical or realistic about this show - All the situations are unrealistic - getting divorced without knowing the real reasons why one spouse did what he did, staying away from your own children for 15 years, staying single and pining for your ex-spouse for 15 years, not moving on in life, then re-marrying each other 18 years later, to fix your grown-up adult children's problems. Not happening!

The most illogical notion running through the story is that the doctor and his children do nothing all day! What about work, college, friends, sports, etc etc?

However, it is fiction and an Indian TV soap opera and by those standards, it is a good show.
Quite watchable, in fact.
