Why are Indian show writers so obsessed with marriage and children?

Surely the country has enough people already? The TV medium has a duty to change minds.

It would have been wiser to show Nishi in conflict with her in-laws because she wants to continue with her education with aim of a career in mind, while Jignesh's parents are at first totally against it, but slowly see the value in educating daughters

Sigh..!

Pinot, that would have been a saner way of dealing with normal people.

Here, it's all about abnormalcy and superficiality, and with no connection to the real world.

What's the need to show Nishi pregnant now? They could have waited for 2 years at least. She si so young.

They made Ragini a baby producing machine, and now Nishi

But I don't care anymore.

because her creativity is limited to this and not beyond...what you said is completely true..today's generation are ambitious and career oriented ...and it would have made so much sense if they had shown nishi wanting to pursue her education and opposing her in laws who wanted a grandchild...that would have been the clash which would have to some extent made sense

most of us have given up already.

Nothing make sense in this show.. . congratulations to the future Nana Nani of the serial who am sure will still be fighting for one thing or another...wonder how writers thought of making them re discover their love in this manner ...

For Rhea , though she needs to improve her acting skill but I think at least protesting and deciding to quit rather than accepting the crap is a nice step 👏 all the best 👍🏼

I find Nishi/Rhea very cute. She has a refreshing look and a good voice quality. She is only doing the scenes that are given to her. She has been asked to be stubborn and annoying and she is just doing that. I think it is good that she is taking a stand and leaving the show.

All of us should do that too. The overall concept is not making any sense. It was supposed to be a love story but they are only making a mess of the whole thing. I think right now is a good time to close all loose ends and end the serial.

Really! Marriage and babies, that's it. Every damn serial had to follow that line. I am watching these days only because I've been recently promoted as coolbie. If Neil goes back to US I am resigning and quitting this show for good. I don't want to sit thru another round of coming back to India-meeting in farmhouse drama.

Neil and Ragini will never unite till this show lasts. They will hit one roadblock after another and Ragini will keep on using Aman. Neil will keep taunting Ragini and swallow his tears whenever he sees her with Aman. One by one all the kids will face some problem. In the end, NeiRa will unite but it will be shown so hastily that none of us will be able to find it palatable. 🤢

I am sure that's the idea. Even in one BTS videos during Nishi's wedding, RR said that N and R will keep on bickering till the end, and PK agreed.

So there are no hopes of actually seeing a mature love story at all.

And since we all are so cognizant of N and R's chemistry, I am sure we will never be given any proper romantic. The HAWTNESS factor started and ended with that OMG promo.

I will applaud Rhea for taking this step actually 👏
