Well, the channel and maker have started looking for replacement options, and it is now certain that Rhea will not continue to be part of the show.
So why is Rhea being replaced?
We hear that the actor apparently had a problem with the future track in the show wherein she will be shown as a mother. Considering her young age, Rhea found it odd to continue doing the show, and wanted the creative team to have a re-think. However, with the think-tank of the show going ahead with their planned track, they decided to look for replacement options. Also, it is believed that the team wanted a stronger performer for the role of Nishi, considering that the present track and the future one too will have the character in the limelight.
A reliable source tells us, "Many known actors have been considered. But as of now, talented actress Vinny Arora has been short-listed for the role. However, the final decision has not been taken yet on the actor to come on board."
When contacted, Rhea asked us to call her later, but then did not revert to our calls and messages after that.
