coming to the plan itself...won't shyam realise that khushi & arnav are responsible for whatever is happening to him...as he knows that they do not trust him and are tolerating him only because of anjali...or he also is suffering from amnesia and thinks everything is fine between him and his saale-saab...even after arnav has told him clearly that he will be thrown out once his di is fine!!!! honestly apart from those two who else would plan anything against him...or maybe i am crediting him too much intelligence!!!!

precap...i have a feeling he will get away with some stupid reason...which is enough for anjali and if not then would like to know why are we in such a hurry to expose him...the exposure can be done at a decent pace...ei tada hoodo'r dorkar ki??

the shot of the day...really takes the cake and one i don't want to see again is shot of khushi standing in between the two guys and saying "agla kadam"...and both looking expectantly at her!!! defo don't want to see that again...Nk behaving in that manner is fine as that's how his character has been sketched but not arnav as asr is not a guy who is not able to use his brains!!! thank god as u mentioned his resistance make it a little believable!!!!

having said all i loved the dawai scene...thanks to the superb non-acting of asr/ barun!!!!

hi soni,

in bold, i so so agree. it was a downright sp shot. not ipk.

and everything i've written the whole day, to me is from the pov of the seriousness of the matter. shyam is not a comic villain. he has physically harmed and injured khushi's father. he has killed anjali's baby and put her at horrible risk while doing so. he has kidnapped his brother in law and coldly told his thugs to burn him. he has personally tied khushi and strategically positioned her on the road to be run over. he has attempted to kill anjali three times. and he has done what he has with khushi.

if the writers address the seriuosness of it all after a day or two of comedy aimed at lightening the intensity of last week, i will be relieved. i do not understand the rush you speak of, just feel it.

to accept asr one must do so with his flaws. he might work on a few of them in view of his new emotional state and the strength loving and being loved brings. but he is who he is.

equally, he has certain strengths.

he, at 14, took on the whole world and every challenge to overcome the horrible hand life had dealt him and his sister. there is learning there, and long years of practice in dealing with this world. i do believe he can tackle the problem of shyam with a cool head if he wishes to. of course, i m fine with khushi helping him focus, even coming up with plans. i don't mind if she finds a plan that works. not at all, good for her. it's just the tone and stance.

thanks for your thoughts, kind of agree all the way. sorry i went on.

start with Khushi's naatakbaazi plans...which will by their very nature work to a certain extent but not more than that...and then ASR will step in.

An interesting thing that strikes me here is Khushi knows Shyam and understands his mind as much as Shyam knows Khushi and understands her. Khushi is underestimating Shyam's wickedness and Shyam underestimates Khushi's essential honesty and integrity of character.

Shyam is a character whose wickedness is rooted in thinking on his feet, making Plan B's in a moment's notice and being thoroughly unscrupulous about his methods and means. In a very very twisted way.. he is the anti-thesis of Khushi's 'jhalliness'.

Khushi is similar to him. (no tomatoes pleeej!!!!) ๐Ÿ˜›

Let me explain. Khushi too is very capable of thinking on her feet, coming up with instant 'lies' or 'naataks' and she too is somewhat unscrupulous about her methods and means... proof is her swami act, her suicide act and her buaji illness drama. But the crucial, very crucial difference is the motive. Shyam's motives is always evil and self-serving while Khushi's is always pure goodness and selfless.

So it is imminently possible that Shyam guesses the reason behind the odd happenings and Khushi's plans will fail after a point.

Rashmi. Interesting what you have said here and kind of gels with what I was thinking as well. That Khushi's out of the box (read that impromptu) plans may well coax Shyam into making mistakes and give himself up.

Agree that Khushi's plans may work only up to a point. Beyond that we have the man to come into the picture. This reminds me of the chess game analogy again. The queen in the fray first. The king will come into picture when the game gets dangerous.

Totally agree with your last paragraph. That is Khushi.

hey nishi,
thanks for that wonderful news.

deepali stays and so do the two. what could be happier. and a lesson about ph, as with many employers, if you want them to take ya seriously threaten to leave. ๐Ÿ˜† deepali is a neat actor with a very uncharted character and tale. maybe now?

I for one never complain about IPK coz it makes me cry and it makes me laugh harder. what's to complain then! ๐Ÿ˜ณ

i think the track's subtle message is about how these two are perfectly complimenting each other.. am pretty sure this will follow the previously laid out path with payal-akash wedding and mami-manao abhiyan... start with Khushi's naatakbaazi plans...which will by their very nature work to a certain extent but not more than that...and then ASR will step in.

An interesting thing that strikes me here is Khushi knows Shyam and understands his mind as much as Shyam knows Khushi and understands her. Khushi is underestimating Shyam's wickedness and Shyam underestimates Khushi's essential honesty and integrity of character.

Very very well said.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ No tomatoes only jalebis.

So it is imminently possible that Shyam guesses the reason behind the odd happenings and Khushi's plans will fail after a point. Even am thinking Shyam will figure out whose game plan it is. Shyam cannot be done with in a week's time. The list of his deeds are too long.

Meanwhile, I am happy to see an ASR exasperated, angry, frustrated, furious and hopelessly in love with his wife and succumbing to her charming overconfident declarations of plans that never fail.๐Ÿ˜† She always tempts fate, doesn't she?

I don't have many posts left. So picking up on points that have been mentioned in the posts and making a general comment.

If you go by Khushi's character, she makes light of everything, meaning she does not dwell on sorrows too much. Maybe her way of buffering herself from the harsh realities of the world.

And she is not the types who will apologize and cry buckets about it. Impulsive and proactive that she is, she would rather seek to correct the mistake that she did than to apologize and cry over spilt milk. She brought back Shyam. She has realized her mistake. Now to get him out. Cant do it the usual kick him out of the house, because Di will go back to her cry-baby phase. So only solution is to show Di what he is. So she has set out to correct her mistake.

Shyam should certainly not be shown as a clown. I agree. I was just thinking. Shyam would now be a man thwarted twice, thrice in his attempts to degrade Arnav and cause him harm. So he may just up his game and make it more dangerous? And this probably may be a formidable game between Shyam and the mighty ASR.

@envee... (is that how i address you? ) glad you agree! yes, chess game analogy also works here. letz see how they take it from here.

did anybody catch the SBB segment? totally adorable. loved the way Barun went blank in real life too heheheh just like ASR did yesterday when asked why raksha bandhan again. ๐Ÿคฃ and loved how Daljeet really treats him like a little brother. these two really gel well.. i am glad she stayed back and Deepali has.

damn itz crazy how much this entire family has come to mean to me.

As you rightly say, shyam is a psycho (although i i really don't know why he needs to keep track of arnav and kushi and what his dhamaka plan is), and needs to be dealt ith appropriately.

Hi kk,
Exactly, one side Shyam is saying that he is making a bigger more evil plan. On their side he is getting by khushi's jhalli plans..I mean if ASR steps in that at least helps to maintain Shyam as d villain...otherwise he is stupid villain. And no connection to the past.๐Ÿ˜ฒ..me thinks.
