That is exactly what got me curious. He has no emotion for anyone apart from Khushi. She acted more like a distraction in his main goal. He got side-focused for a bit. Now he is back on tract. I was just wondering, what is the force that is driving him ?

My assumption is Snakes plan has backfire on him... i think he was hoping Poojali will be hospitalized and will cry out for him so that he can re-enter RM... and now he lost that chance...

Dadi always maintained Damadji should be called back because Anjali is pregnant and need him... now that baby has gone what why she will insist Snake to be called back?

Aranv may be forced to called back Damadji for Anjali's happiness but I seriously doubt that

There must be plenty if rich tycoons in Delhi.
Does Shyaam as well have a connection to their past?
Does he want to take revenge ?
Destroy the family emotionally and financially?

first of all Sanika, thanks for adding me to the discussion! Well all this suspense is definitely getting the better of me.

My two cents -

1. Shyaam must have met Anjali AFTER Arnav became a self-made millionaire. I have a feeling it has always been about gaining ASR's riches because right now, he's been living off Anjali's money (sourced by Arnav). Also, the kidnapping track was also meant for the will alterations which would have enabled all of ASRs property to be in Shyaam's name.

2. Shyaam is using Anjali to actually hurt Arnav.. with Anjali in pain, ASR will be in pain too. And with the Garima-Dadi confrontation looming in the near future, it is quite possible that ASR and KKG will also separate (my theory folks, no spoiler alerts here 😉) And when ASR will be on his own it will be easier to destroy him.

3. Shyaam, Guptas, Raizadas and Malliks all belonging to Lucknow isn't a coincidence. There has to be a deeper meaning hidden there although, I feel there are two distinct tracks here one is between the Guptas and the Raizadas/Malliks and the other is between Shyaam and the Raizadas/Malliks. Even I agree with others that Shyaam and Guptas have no connection apart from Shyam's obsession with Khushi which seems to be a chance encounter.

4. anjali's haalat, well she is suffering from Polio right? and Polio doesn't happen in adulthood (at least that is what I knew). So I have a feeling she must have been crippled from childhood. However, when her first marriage broke, I do not think she got married that day as both her parents died that night. So I'm thinking the first marriage never happened to begin with. I wonder if the groom was in any way related to Shyaam and since the marriage broke up, it caused the groom's family embarrasment and ridicule as well. Although I won't be surprised if something entirely different was cooked up by the CVs to explain this angle.

Umm, Sanika, would you mind if I attempted to answer some of these questions as my alternate universe FF progresses? I think I'll finally be able to remain sane that way !

Be warned at the very outset..The following wall of text shall sound despondent to say the least.Those who are caught in the throes of gloom , stay away, or you may have to reach out for a valium.

Those eternal optimist who think all cribsters are having a heyday with their fangs open and about, you are welcome to keep you sucker opinion to yourself just like I am entitled to mine.

I don't care if the show wraps next week, 3 weeks from now or 3 months from now. Because, reality check..

It's a freaking fiction telly show airing 5 days a week. The amount of cribbing that PH does over audiences expectations they won't last long..Sooner than later they are gonna run out of steam and hop onto the next bandwagon ( hear hear..the PH are launching a new show on Zee, aint they.. Their excited confusion over IPKKND launch saw them commit hara kiri in form of their first venture, Geet...There's a definite pattern there...)

But I am someone who has her sunny side up, always...dark clouds have their moment, however brief..and that went I yell and rant, crib and rave to my heart's content...I stand for only one thing...No non sense. I refuse to take shit from anyone. It's in my DNA.

And lately with the show we all know what exactly hit the fan.

( I would say logic too, but you folks will skin me alive for being delusional to seek it on a daily soap...)

No, I know, PH never claimed they are going to going to give us an epic. They din't make promises that would meet out expectations. The fault lies with the collective fan following whipped up a mass frenzy. Like GH said, Dekhna hai toh dekho...

Hum toh mediocre , half baked stuff hi denge, jo ukhadna hai ukhaad lo..

and he is kept up his end of the bargain.

All the 'what IPKKND should really be' in all our heads, is of course figment of our fertile imagination and going by Arshi manicas they may as well be folks who hallucinate and actually seem themselves in Khushis/ ASR's shoes..(eeks!!!.. I am too much in love with myself to be want to be someone else, even in my dreams...)

That's a job well done by the PH if you ask me...Credits solely for that.

So, the above makes me a basher?? So be it..( funny, writing 'so be it' sounds like sobti, lol😊)

I have a problem. I twitch and itch all over if I see or hear something that doesn't make sense. Of course nothing in the entertainment industry is supposed to make sense. Other than pure business that is. There are scores of analyses/ theories by esteemed IF members who have concluded what works and doesn't work for IPKKND in such details that with heir combined efforts one would have re created Pyramids in modern day time and age.

Ergo,The PH at IPKKND don't really have much of business acumen to boast of. Neither will they let audience help them it. No wonder ASR , the business tycoon on the show is given a character sketch that's a frigging reflection of their true self.

And then, for good measure, the PH bend over back ward in a vain attempt to kiss their sorry asses. This entire week was a testimony to those acrobatics. There was a reason I remained indifferent to TV shows, especially Indian Telly shows all my life. With today's episode, IPKKND team which set out to present a love story ended up going the Ekta Mata way.

Ek tha raja, ek thi rani, dono mar gaye, khatam kahani

Ek tha raj kumar, Ek thi rajkumari, Pyar hua, shaadi hui..and they lived happily ever after..

Ye story kisi ko nahi dekhni...Bikna toh door ki baat hai, kisi ko aisa mareezo wala khana jaisa beswaad kahani nahi sunni..

Question is ...what does a sell out story comprise of?

Conflict

Theme

I am not schizophrenic to elaborate on them but all you literates know how the DRAMA element needs to be woven into the fabric of a story considering the 4 basic elements stated above. All you knowing souls are well aware of the areas that IPKKND team woefully lack in.

To use an example, rather borrow one from this week's episode...If the whole point of Shyam's plan was to get rid of the baby,

What was with the sneaking around RM switching a whole bottle of pills?

What was with installing CCTV's..what exactly have the footage helped him with?Heartburn from having to watch Khushi Arnav have rabba vey moments?

Why consume an entire episode sneak in using a ridiculous disguise shove a box with gloves and glass shards in them under the cot? and then sneak in yet again, retrieve the box, put on the gloves, scatter the pieces, remove the gloves, put them back in the box, and put the f*****g box with finger prints all over it under the bed?

Then arrange to have the woman electrocuted so she can tumble down the stairs like Jack and Jill. So why was the bleeding two foot required?

Why did he not come in the dead of the night, with Anji's/dadi's help and carry out his plans instead of getting himself into astoundingly stupid disguises?

What did he do with the dhol guy he replaced for the ban baaja troupe?

In between all the a** h***disguises and MPD roles he has displayed has he forgotten he is a lawyer?

He is an attorney for what kind of law?

intellectual property/copyright law, company law, commercial law, employment law, health and safety, local government, government (ie drafting leglislation -see the Government Legal Service website), property law, landlord and tenant, welfare benefits, mental health, family law, etc and each of them has specializations within.

Of course 15 odd months is too short a time for a daily soap to go into details.. Choti choti baatein clear karenge, loose ends nahi rakhenge to phir hafte mein 5 din kya ghanta dikhayenge?

Half the forum is SAD...for Anjali, for the baby, for Khushi, for Arnav...

I however am sad for myself...why am I subjecting myself to this? I need to develop a spine. Just of another kind me thinks. Or maybe an extra layer of rhino skin.because I am just as stubborn. I have to see this to its end just to find out how dumb the PH thinks we as an audience are.

Shyaam meeting Khushi was a co-incidence accordingly to me. It seems more like she was the distraction from his main goal.

The other thing that keeps puzzling me is before, he keeps going back to Lucknow! Was he digging up on their pasts? Working on Dadi since before? Maybe he knew, only Dadi can be a strong match for Arnav and she will be a good pawn to have. How else would he have convinced her so early to save his marriage?

let's see how the story enfolds but I agree with you ...this lucknow link has lots to say !!! Ab jab Garima story will emerge, I think she was ASR's dad's girlfriend ...then maybe this Shyam track will unfold too ...till then me thinks Shyam will come back into Raizada mansion now, as Anjali will BEG for it and poor Chhote will not have the heart to say no !!!

What I want to see it Anjali learning the TRUTH of Shyam by herself and her redemption by uprooting and removing him from her life ...that will be exciting for the Snakewa ...Rani Sahiba in true form ha ha !!!!

I think always wanted to kill the baby. Another question, arises, why were they having trouble concieving. Shyaam never wanted to have a baby with Anjali is my guess and was taking preventive measures. But he got distracted with Khushi and maybe he forgot sometime and Anjali got pregnant. But he used this fact to his advantage.

Things didn't work out the way he planned. And giving the baby as an excuse was not going to work. He though, that Anjali was so distraught that they will eventually ring him back. Even that didn't work.

But with the loss of the child, he knew that Anji will be beyond grief and he can claim that the child was his tol and hkw can arnav not let him mourne its death? And that it is all Arnav's fault that they didnt pay attention and this happened.

Dadi will back him up and Anji will want her husband to share her grief. And hence he will be back inRM. But again, his time is limited and he has to act fast because everyone else suspects him.

I completely agree with your first 3 points.

I do not think Anji has polio. The reason simply being that she comes from a rich family. Polio is a contagious virus that speads in areas with poor sanitation. Also, polio vaccinations are available and are compulsory for children. I doubt that a young Anji wasnt given her vaccinations or was let to play in dirty surroundings or with unsanitory children.

Also, since she wears a brace, I think her leg was amputated. She was well before. That is another reason I think, Shyaam caused her accident. To get entry in her life. Given friday's episode, we can assume that it is a safe bet.

As for trying to answer these questions in your story, go ahead. I am looking forward to seeing how you deal with the situation.
