Avinash Sachdev was born in Baroda.

His Birth Date is 22nd August 1986.

Sun-Sign:

He came to mumbai, when he was a teenager, to fulfill his dreamsAvinash started his career by several modeling assignments.

In his early days, he was not interested in acting even he was more interested in modelling. In fact, he even participated in the Gladrags Model Hunt because he wanted to get into modelling. He won a couple of titles like Mr. Baroda, Mr. University and that really got his interest into modeling.

After modelling happened he got a chance into acting which he took up He was actually surprised when he was offered the negative role! he started out with Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil.

But he don't look at roles as positive or negative ..
He was doing another show for DJs called Nanhi Paribut
he was being finalized and then they called him for Choti Bahu.
When he heard the title,he was not ready to do the show
as the name suggested it was a family drama.
He told them he did not want to stand behind the Choti Bahu
since the name suggested the show would revolve around her.
But they convinced him that it was going to be a love story
and not just a family drama.Then he decided to give the audition and
luckily was offered the character of Dev. He was so happy and lucky to be played Dev because he has many aspects to him.

He is not one of those actors who only sleep when they get free time. He likes watching movies a lot, though he doesn't watch television as known from the sources.

Avinash was first seen on Television as Salman in Balajis Khwahish. Later, he was offered a double role in Balajis Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. His character in that show had ended because he wanted more time to do Chhoti Bahu. Avinash won millions of hearts around the world as Dev in Zee TVs Choti Bahu. His Character name in this show was Devraj Purohit.

Due to the huge popularity of the show and couple Dev and Radhika, PH and Channel decided to launch a season 2 of Chhoti Bahu on public demand with the same leads.

He was not very keen into participating in a reality show but would love to anchor one.

He was also Seen In Star Plus "Teri Meri Love Stories" in one Short Story aired on Star Plus

And then after a long wait of about 2 years he was again back to set the screen on fire! Yes Avinash is all set to make a big bang return to the silver screen with Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Bar Phir! He played the male lead Shlok Agnihotri, male chauvinist who wanted to rule the World!

He played opposite Shrenu Parikh in this show.

He also did an endorsement for Cadburry , GRT jewellers and Ebay.in

Avinash has opened a new fashion venture in Malad West Mumbai

1. In 2009, Best Actor award at New Talent Awards.
2. In 2009, Fresh New Face of the Year award at The 9th Indian Telly Awards.
3. In 2010, Most Popular Face of the Year award at Zee Rishtey Awards.
