Totally agree. One must give credit and appreciation where it's due. And Shivani deserves a lot of appreciation for her dignified response, as well as her portrayal of Chandni.

You've highlighted the hypocrisy and double standards of certain fans very well. Really shameful to see the feminist card played selectively. But this is how it works for some. Pitiful! Some people need to understand that if it wasn't Shivani, it would've been someone else. But thank Gul it was Shivani Tomar 😆

Uff, Barun and Shivani totally slaying it! Even I have no complaints, and the chemistry is sizzling and cracking, again no complaints 😆

Soon to be Mrs. Chandni Advay Singh Raizada has a nice ring to it! Remember that dialogue, "Tum maan chuki ho, Chandni. You just don't know it yet." Random but I just loved the way Barun said it 😆😳

Btw, where are your masaledaar posts?! I haven't seen them around for a while. You should make another one similar to that one about what it meant when Advay referred to talking with Chandni 😆 (laptop wala scene) It was an enjoyable read!

She is perfect for the role for sho! Hats off to Gul Khan for sticking by her choice, despite some ridiculous pressure from some quarters. Shivani IS Chandni, bas! 😆

So true yaar. Really hoping this show gives Shivani the success that she deserves. Would be lovely to see her receive recognition and appreciation for it :)

Gul Khan is a smart lady! She knows what she wants and she goes for it. I appreciate her belief in what she wants to achieve 👏 and she's been bang on target here as well. Bringing Barun back with IPK3 and then casting Shivani opposite him. Bulls eye!!!

Oh, me too! So happy that Gul and Barun supported Shivani through all that hoopla, lol. It makes me both laugh and fume over how some people behaved. Well, it's still not over yet but some of the voices have drowned out since they know cribbing and crying will not work 😆

I would say endearing is the perfect word to describe Shivani. Wishing her lots of success. <3

Heard about her in Mohra, then watched her in Kasam. Felt too bad when she was dropped from the show and there too she had to face the wrath of the fans. Was skeptical at first when she was declared as FL in our show as her acting seemed pretty much average in Kasam. But she exceeded my expectations . To be honest, I think the CVs seemed a bit lost in the first week, and with Chandni the writers appeared confused. But from what I can see, they now seemed to have a better understanding of what they want from Chandni and it's also showing in Shivani's performance. There is a lot of scope with Chandni in terms of her portrayal...lots of layers to the character and I'm really rooting for Shivani to explore all those layers! So I'm rooting for both Chandni and Shivani😆

I have faith! I have faith that the show will not fail. It will take a bit of time, yes - but soon it's going to bring in the numbers. Bashing in the form of criticism will always be present and nothing can be done about that. But I believe the show will work and Shivani will get the recognition that she deserves. Don't care much about what the haters think because they are too blinded by hatred to see beyond it 😆

Yes. Unfortunately the negativity hasn't stopped. But some voices are becoming silent because they know ke gunda gardi nahin chalegi 😆 Gul Khan is one hell of a stubborn lady, lol. She wanted Shivani Tomar and she got Shivani Tomar. AND she's sticking with Shivani Tomar. End of 😆

@bold: Completely agree with this. As I mentioned to another fellow forum member, there are many layers to Chandni, which I'm sure is going to be explored. And I have full faith that Shivani will portray it all sincerely.

Me too looking forward to her individual growth, her own journey as well as Advays' and yes - their journey together 😳
