Bang on Post. I love Shivani as Chandni and I really admire her as a person. There is a quiet strength and dignity to her.

Totally agree with everything you said. I had never seen her too. Just knew she was supposed to be part of that scrapped show with Barun! But she is an adorable girl who carries herself with so much grace and dignity. She's seen the ups and downs of life which I think has given her an inner strength. And I am glad Barun and The ipk3 team supported her during the shitstorm that came her way initially. She is very endearing.

The only show I've religiously watched of Gul's before is QH (season 1) and Zoya was MY GURL! Loved her to death. Her shayaris, her clumsiness and how no matter how much she blundered her heart was always in the right place :') And I'm coming to love Chandni too, despite what started of as a wishy-washy characerization of her from the creatives. And it's funny how in many ways she's so opposite to Zoya - Chandni is generally poised and calm, she's got this incredibly QUIET strength about her and she believes in learning to calmly accept and move on rather than rage. But beneath those superficial layers, my two sweet girls are honestly soul sisters for many reasons; craving for the love of family, going to any extent for them and when pushed, REALLY giving it back to their men! Miss Fix-Fit endured so much from her Akdu Ahmed Khan and so will Moonlight from her ASR 😆 And as Zoya did, we've already seen Chandni too has that fire within her. She pleads to Advay softly but with a steel beneath her voice, 'don't test my patience!' but when push comes to shove, she WILL fight back. She may seem like a kitten to Advay, hence his amused almost fond smiles towards her when she's berating him and his behaviour, but he'll find out eventually there's a tigress hidden within her.


Anyways, went way off on tangent there. Just wanna thank Gul SO MUCH for giving Shivani a chance 'cause she's honest to God the PERFECT Chandni to Barun's Dev. And to Shivani - we adore you to the moon and back! ❤️

Oooh! Interesting comparison with Zoya! On face value, Zoya and Chandni are poles apart but peel away the layers and we find two young women who practically whant the same things and yes - know how to give it back to the men in their lives 😆 Gosh, Zoya - what a character with a lot of spunk. I'm hoping Chandni can do what Zoya did for SJ - make Shivani into a star!

I agree that the beginning of IPK3 was a bit off for Chandni, the character...thanks to confusion on the part of CVs. But they seemed to have understood what they want from Chandni and Shivani is also delivering with ease!

I didn't watch her scenes with Sharad in Kasam. Actually, I haven't watched the show but I've heard of it. But I did read a lot of negative comments from obsessive fans when she was entering the show. Really unfortunate when people take their love for a couple/show to such an extent. But yes, doesn't matter in the end because we wouldn't have had Shivani as Chandni if that decision wasn't taken. So blessing in disguise!!! But nice to know that EK and Shivani parted on a positive note and without hard feelings :)

lol what to do about wardrobe 😆 bahut badi tension ban gayi hai 😆 We can only hope and pray that PH sees some sense!! Shivani and Barun, both good looking people but outfits don't do justice to them. I think the team in charge of wardrobe and jewellery is a bit loopy. Too much experimentation going on! Problem is that Gul Khan is stubborn. Kisi ki sunti nahin hai. Even fans of Ishqbaaz have been complaining about wardrobe in the past but she doesn't listen 😆

She is indeed the perfect Chandni for Advay. Gul Khan ki jai ho 😆 I get annoyed with her at times but genuinely thank her for choosing Shivani.
Right choice :)

Heard about her in Mohra, then watched her in Kasam. Felt too bad when she was dropped from the show and there too she had to face the wrath of the fans. Was skeptical at first when she was declared as FL in our show as her acting seemed pretty much average in Kasam. But she exceeded my expectations . Even though her character is not very well written she is doing a great job, especially from last two weeks.

Shivani is potraying chandni char so beautifully also handling all negativity in such a class.lot of actress with fame should learn actually who get riled up with few comments only and behave immaturely .hope she remains same.she is winning heart genuinely .
