All I am watching since the past 2-3 years are mostly Kdramas, a few Thailand dramas and a few english tv series.

Oh yes I watched Suno Chanda S1 and S2. There is a news that they would be shooting for S3 as well. Don't know if that is true or not

My blood pressure hits the roof whenever I think of MR and his wasted talent. I cannot believe the idiotic decisions this man has made post-IKRS. He might as well have taken another sabbatical of 4 years like he did after Laagi. He's all over the place and seems utterly confused as an entertainer. 😕 What irks me even more is that he seems delusional about his age on the medium of television. Unless he wants to restrict himself to mature love stories like Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy, he's pretty much out on his way of being the male lead of a youth-centric show. 🤦‍♀️ I haven't really watched anything because of Ramadan, but I am thinking of watching a Malayali film soon. I'm also thinking of watching Dream Girl and Article 115 - the only two of Ayushmann Khurana's movies I haven't yet watched. You're not watching Yeh Dil Mera starring Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly? You should watch Cheekh, Barbie. It was a stupendous Pakistani drama!

i don't even want to think about MR. It spoils my whole mood and I enter into the zone of endless wondering, thinking about how and why such an actor with great skills had to do this. But I think luck too plays a major role

While gurmeet, sushant have established themselves in bolly, MR who had always been eyeing movies could never bag a role, let alone anything big or appreciable.

Anyway, we really cannot do anything about it and TBH, MR's entering KKB had saddened me so much that it was because of this utter disappointment that I had decided to give up on him and since then I totally stopped watching hindi serials and never turned back😆 now that i think about it i realize that i was honestly much invested in him at one time 😒😒😒😒

About Pak dramas, my life's first ship sailed. SaHad got married

I am very much willing to watch their YDM. Offcourse I will, I am just waiting for it to end. My patience is too less and I often find it difficult to wait a whole week for 2 episodes 😛 How is the story going?

I did not watch Cheekh, my friends who usually recommend me dramas did not watch it either so this is the first time I am hearing about it. Will definitely give it a try 💪🏻

Do you watch Malayali films often? Are they dubbed or are provided with English subtitles?

I hear YDM is ending soon, so perhaps you'll be able to watch sooner than you think. 😉 I wasn't able to watch YDM myself because YouTube wasn't making it available here. 🤷‍♀️ Lately, Pakistani channels have been restricting their content on YouTube on my side of the world. It's actually become difficult to find older episodes once they've aired. This was never an issue before, so I'm not sure what's changed. 🤔 I've never watched a Malayali film, but I was planning to on the recommendation of a friend. I believe they do have subtitles on Netflix. I honestly don't like watching movies that are dubbed in another language because I feel that it takes away from the performance and the essence of the story.

In India too, certain Pak dramas have been made unavailable. My mother and me have been using VPN to gain access to those dramas.

About dubbing, I completely agree with you. The original charm of the show is lost once they are dubbed in another language. The voices, in most cases, never fit the faces of the actors. Its better to watch with English subtitles.

It feels really good to be here after so long. I did not expect to find this forum running even now. You all really kept this place from getting locked.

I think the mods keep a watch on the forums and unless there is absolutely no activity for many months at continuous, they wont lock this place.

What about Magnolia and Mishfan? Do you hear from them often?

Mish visits every now and then. 😊 If we had left it to MR, there was no way this forum would've survived. 😒 Thank goodness we're all interested in good content on any medium! I have been watching korean dramas regularly for the past few years, a few thailand dramas and a handful of Chinese series and pak dramas too. They all are good. You can try watching if you wish to. I had a hard time understanding asian dramas when i first entered into this kdrama land but once i finished watching 2-3 episodes, i realized there is no more turning back.

The story lines are exceptionally good. I am sure you will love them too 😍😍

I am not sure how to process this news about Sushant Singh Rajput, really 😢

What’s with this year until now.... one after another .🙁

I am really craving for something positive. All of what’s happened & happening is quite exhausting. It has to stop.

..I simply can’t wrap my head around this latest one. SSR was such a grounded, humble, intelligent person, a talented actor with so much potential. What a terrible tragedy😥😥. I was just reading his family is suspecting foul play. If that’s true it’s somewhat consoling . Because to me, with the education & knowledge he had, he had to seek help if he was depressed & not end his beautiful life this way.😭

I am sorry, haven’t been active here for a while. It’s just that things are so out of control last few months, I am at a loss.....The pandemic, the nation wide Protests here ( never imagined I would be a witness to this kind ) & then tragedies in BW...when will all this end ???

Hmmm, I guess should give East Asian dramas a shot if they're that good. Are they more simple or realistic in terms of story? I keep hearing their content is great, but in what way? I just started watching a new Pakistani drama called Sabaat that is quite interesting. A bit of a different take on egotism and pride.

I believe we are experiencing difficult times unlike anything we've ever experienced before. The whole world was forced into taking a pause to introspect on what matters most in life. I know the United States is still struggling with Covid-19, but things are improving here in Canada as they are in Europe. I know it's been hard, but hopefully things will get better there as well. Let's just pray there isn't a second wave of this dreaded virus. SSR's death came as a jolt unlike any Indian celebrity thus far. I just couldn't fathom why someone as bright and successful as him would choose to take his own life. From what I've been reading on the Internet, Sushant was dealing with depression over the past six months. He was also on medication for the same. Seeing that he was alone in the lockdown in Mumbai, his depression might've exacerbated being in quarantine all alone. He didn't really have a circle of friends in Bollywood, neither was he local to Mumbai. I think he was also struggling to get his foothold in the industry being an outsider. His failures may have affected him more than his successes. The fact that no A-list celeb attended his funeral is also telling of his equation within the fraternity of films. Whatever the case may have been, it is beyond a doubt heartbreaking that he chose to end his own life. I can't imagine the pain he must've been in over the past few months to succumb to this step.
