Thanks Mish for finding all articles and posts and posting her.
It is indeed heart touching!!! NObody can replace mom.

Did you watch Oscars? They showed Sri and Shashi kapoor pics in tribute to film people passed away in last one year. It was touched with this gesture by Oscars.

Sri is going to be in our memories forever.
See how graceful she is here.

RIP Sridevi. May her daughters get the strength to heal. Let's all dedicate songs to her in this thread.
Just a month back I was watching Sadma's ending scene, was in tears watching it...Kamal and Sridevi are fabulous actors, we hardly get to see such movies these days. Those are some epic movies made.

Pearl, are you watching Rising Star this season? They did a tribute to Sridevi this past weekend with some wonderful performances, 👏 Did anyone else catch the episodes this weekend? I'm actually in love with a song from Sadmaa at the moment.

An amazing tribute by Hemant Brijwasi to the queen of Bollywood:

So true, Swathi...I loved the South version more even though I could not follow every word
of Tamil. I always enjoyed her south movies more, just because they were more raw,
& less glamorous. Those movies explored her real acting ability along with her
beauty.

For those of you who enjoy thrillers, I would like to suggest to watch
Sigappu Rojakkal...another Sridevi & Kamal movie, a wonderful thriller with
some beautiful music 👍🏼
Not sure of it was done in other languages

@ Dazzy No dear I haven't watched it. I watch shows mostly online. I ll listen to the song later, thanks for sharing.

@ Sudha Because its their lang we get the feel of it being our mother tongue be it Tamil or Telugu. Yeah I agree those days Telugu movies had simplicity and have a strong concept. These days if I watch one movie I ll get a headache with the actors overacting. Thanks for the suggestion dear will try to watch it.

TFS Ami, no doubt she was a beautiful, talented & graceful actress. BW lost a treasure.
I finally watched the Oscars & was indeed surprised to see her included in their Memoriam
Shashi Kapoor was a known name, internationally , but SriDevi had never been a part
of any HW project (is what I think). So that was a pleasant surprise & a thoughtful one !!!

Mish, even I am also not aware of any of Sri's international projects. I think this is the first time Oscar paid tribute to Bollywood actors.

@DAZZ: I did watch rising star. It was amazing! As usual Hemant was superb.I love the program and wait for it every weekend!! Thanks for the sadma song.

Guys, how was Sadmaa as a movie? I've never watched any of Sri's films before Mr. India. I have a very vague memory of that movie from my childhood. I think I was 6 or 7 when Chandni first came out, but I have so many memories associated to that movie. 😳 I'm not sure what it was that I liked so much about this movie being that young, but I must've watched it at least ten times in my life. 😆 Are there any other movies of hers from the 80s that I should watch in Hindi? 😊
