Television actor Mishal Raheja will walk down all the way to Hollywood for his first song with a Grammy winner.

Television actor Mishal Raheja of the Laagi Tujhse Lagan' fame is on cloud nine. A very few know that, apart from acting, this TV ka Munda can sing as well. The actor started his career back in 2005. He recently started singing and ended up getting a project from the West. We are not kidding; the 35-year-old actor got his first singing project with Hema Sardesai in collaboration with New York-based music publisher, Tony Mercedes. Tony has four Grammy nominations and one Grammy award and has produced the music single shot in LA during his last trip to the States.

It's Mishal's first ever Hollywood project and the fun just got doubled as another Grammy award winner, Jared Lee Gosselin, is the sound engineer for his first Hollywood single. Hema Sardesai is a veteran Indian singer, who has represented the nation at many international platforms. Sardesai is the only Indian Singer to win the Grand Prix at the International Pop Song Festival in Germany. Mishal and Hema have been personally looking into the details and it is believed that the single will be launched worldwide this December.

Well, where most of the small screen actors are struggling to make their place in Bollywood, Mishal, not following the rat race has reached Hollywood. We wish all the luck to the actor for his upcoming project.

I'm honestly happy for Mishal, but at the same time I'm also very puzzled. When did Mishal have ambitions to become a singer and that too in Hollywood? 😕 Didn't he once say in an interview that he only liked listening to Hindi romantic ballads? 🤔 I also don't understand where his priorities are in terms of his career - is it acting, singing, directing, producing, or even dancing? I mean the only thing left now is to see him perform as a dancer on some show. I just wish he'd realize his potential as an actor by taking his profession seriously. I'll always support Mishal in all of his endeavours, but I can't deny that I'm slightly disappointed. 😳 Guys, I think it's high time we leave our expectations of seeing Mishal on a daily serial again. At this point, I think we'd even be lucky to get his web series next year. This forum is for us and the friendships we've all made here. We'll continue this forum with the same enthusiasm just for us. ❤️ Obviously, Mishal's work will always be up for discussion here. We're all his fans at the end of the day! 😊 I just hope it won't be too late for Mishal to make a comeback to television in the future when he feels the urge to don an interesting character.

Dazz, you said exactly what's been going thru' my mind since I saw his post earlier today.

My first reaction was not "Yay", but "what the ??????? " 😲

Honestly what does Mishal want to do is in itself a big ?. Seems like he is not very sure

& has us fans confused too. What do we see him as...an actor or producer or singer ???

Like you said, dancing is Something he's not tried yet. Who knows, given a chance

he might & when that happens, he will be a "Complete Artist " ...😆

Never had a clue he liked to sing & can he sing so well that he's coming out with a single 😳

Oh goodness, here we've been waiting & waiting, hoping to see him take up a new show while

he's happily chosen to pursue something else...I am terribly disappointed. 😕

I wonder what was the real reason for him to do this...fed up with the Indian TV industry

or his first step towards pursuing his HW dream or both.

Whatever it is, I truly wish him immense success & good luck always !!!!!!

We will continue to do so.. I also believe this project just happened and he took the opportunity...He should be making web series as planned beginning of next year (might change if his solo song becomes superhit and he gets another singing projects)...

We had the exact same reaction! 🤣 Big hug for you, Mish! 🤗 The man's totally confused and I think it's best we leave it at that that. 🤔 I will say that if this is his first step towards his Hollywood dream, then how will that pan as out as a singer? Aren't his ambitions to act in a Hollywood film? 😕 Who knows, Mish? He may be going the Priyanka Chopra way with first a single, then an album, followed by a successful tv show, and the ultimate accomplishment of films. 😉

I'm sure it'll be a great album, Ami. I have that much faith in Mishal as well. 😳 Even if he isn't a good enough singer to be singing on the international level, there's always autotune. If Sallu could give us Main Hoon Hero Tera, then why not Mishal? 😃 I really really hope we'll get his web series, but I'm unsure whether Dakssh will be a part of the series in the coming new year. He's already busy with Laado 2. For me, the highlight of his web series was seeing him act again with Dakssh and Rohan in a contemporary setting. I just hope it's all still on the cards.

I think by Q1 2018 we will be clear about web series whether it is happening or not. It is possible to work in web series along with daily as it doesn't require the long hours like daily (This is what I remember from one of his interview ). Let us hope the original cast is intact.

Congratulations to Mishal👏l! Hope he gets all the success in whatever he decides to take up. He looks elated in his insta post so am happy for him.

But not sure what exactly he is thinking careerwise...Maybe I'm old fashioned and narrow minded, lacking vision 😆 but I think he's totally unpredictable and confused!
