Yes, DAZZ, I felt so good after reading this particular statement...I am very sure that LTL Indo fans have shaken him little bit from inside, you know what I mean... Just out of blue that love came to him...Unexpected...

This clears lot of things for the producers also. I am hoping that now PHs would reach out to him.
I feel we are almost there now in terms of his comeback on TV.

I was always under the impression that Mishal had several offers on his plate awaiting his return to television. This may not be the case. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ If I've interpreted Mishal correctly, the offers may not be that affluent because of his reputation and his renumeration. I hope you're right, Ami! I pray that Mishy's clarification is able to circulate within the industry by reaching prospective producers for a potential comeback. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I just read a comment on his Insta from an Indo fan about AnTV stating this very same reason
of Mishal being too expensive for not bringing him to Indonesia.
No wonder, those fans are so disappointed
This seems all so ridiculous & now this news about his web series pushed further...
oh, feel so bad for him.
Glad that he's taking time off with this vacation

As a dear fan, I can only pray that everything works out in your favor, Mishal &
hope to see you back soon on our screens doing what you do best...Acting!!!

Mish, I would take An TV's explanations with a grain of salt. They first said Mishal wasn't available the two times they had called him for a visit to Indonesia and now quoting him as being too expensive. It isn't coincidental that this article came out when it did. I've noticed that Mishal often addresses queries from his fans and even certain rumours in his interactions with the press. I'm not sure why An TV is treating Mishal the way they have, but something is certainly dubious. ๐Ÿค” I just can't imagine why they would hold a grudge against him.

The million dollar question here is why? What could they possibly have against Mishal? ๐Ÿ˜ก They've called countless celebrities from the Indian television fraternity to Indonesia without fail. It makes no sense why they'd be so incredulous in Mishal's case. Honestly guys, my heart breaks for this man. ๐Ÿฅบ

I too have the same question and really feel bad for Mishal.
If I try to dig more then can only think of this:
How does ANTV acquire rights of any serial? Definitely there is some business involved here.
One just can't release any serial like that...
Acquire the rights, give proper name of the serial, dubbing, invite main leads for promotion. Who would give contact details of the actors involved in the serail? How did they call Mahhi for promotion in the beginning itself...
All these require proper planning and backing from the people/entity who has rights of this series.

I feel there is still some grudge going on from the PH end... PEACE be with everyone involved.

As an ardent fan we can pray for him and I am sure he is going to get his due...

Today I came across following insta post.. Don't know how I reached from one post to another, but this guy has written the truth about the tv/film industry... Read it once you get chance...

Ami,
This was posted on IF . I have only watched him in IPK 1.
But from his post & this IV, his frustration is very clear.. He's been courageous enough to
speak about it & this is very true for many not so popular but talented actors.
It's all about networking, socializing & like he said buttering for work.

We got in touch with Akshay and here's what he said, "Nothing per say got me riled up or compelled me to write this post. But what did bother me was the fact of not being nominated in any of the recent award shows. Because the kind of work that I have done in my last few shows (Do Dil Ek Jaan, Waaris), I kind of felt like I should have at least been nominated. Ms. Kangana Ranaut is actually right about award shows - they are all a sham. Most people do not deserve the awards they get. That's why it's a sham, having said that there are some who deserve the awards and actually do win. But mostly it's all for show."

"I just felt the need to let people out there, including budding actors know that its not all hunky dory here in the industry. I am not on a crusade or something, but it's important for all to know the reality. I came into the industry at a time where skill was given more importance over money making. And there is disappointment on a daily basis when your work is not acknowledged. Its sad but that's how the industry has become now," said Akshay.

So is there a hint of nepotism here in this situation? To this Akshay replied, "See there is no such thing as nepotism for TV. The TV industry can't have nepotism. I am an introvert and I rely on my work and skills to speak for me. But the thing in this industry is that need to socialise and make friends. I've been down that part and tried really hard but I can't go out and fake a smile."

The actor also went on to reveal, "I had tried to be myself and let my work speak for me. But when that stopped happening, people expected me to go out and socialise and ask for work. Some people have that kinda brain to get their work done somehow and some people are simply artists who expect their work to speak volumes. Out there, its like "yaar isko jaante hai chalo le lete hai show mein."

Akshay feels that he'd rather be out in search of quality work and not push himself on other people, "I have tried to go out and get accustomed to this socialising trend, but found it fake. I'd rather do minimal but quality work than push myself on people or butter them up to give me work."

Akshay does have a valid point here, doesn't he?

Very logically thought out, Ami! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ You could be right about the acquisition of rights for any tv show. Would they have made a clause in their contracts to exclude Mishal from all promotions of Nakusha? ๐Ÿค” If such is the case, then why not be open and honest with your audience? Why give Mishal a bad name in the process of adhering to the fine print in your contracts? It's as if An TV's making an attempt to cease Mishal's popularity in Indonesia so that his fandom will move on to welcoming Shabir in Dutta's role instead. ๐Ÿ’” So many questions, yet so little answers. ๐Ÿ˜” Thank you for sharing that link, Ami. ๐Ÿค— Akshay is right! ๐Ÿ‘ I had no idea he was that talented himself. ๐Ÿ˜ณ I remember him from his days on IPKKND 1 as Arnav's cousin Akash. ๐Ÿ˜Š Didn't think he had it in him to play such negative characters, but he proved me wrong with his performance. Mishal may not be the most popular in the industry today, but he's acquired a name for himself in regards to his acclaim as a sensational actor. We can at least take solace in the recognition he's been given for his craft. ๐Ÿ˜Š
