Krunal Pandya, LSG Captain: It was too many runs.

When it's 227, you have to keep going every over. You can afford to have a couple of quiet overs while chasing 200 but not 227. In the last 6-7 overs it was a bit slower, but the batters said it was a good wicket. Had we restricted them to 200-210, we'd have had a chance.

You don't dream of captaining your side in IPL or facing

Hardik but the family is happy. Mom was saying two points will come home in the end anyway. There's so much of love between me and Hardik. There's leg pulling but it happens only a couple of minutes.

Krunal Pandya: We gave too many runs in the first innings. When it's 227, you have to go hard every over. The surface played really well. The batters said it was a good wicket to bat on. Had we restricted them to 200-210, we would have had a chance. God has been kind to us, our family is proud, Mom is happy. She said at the end of the day, two points will come home only. There is so much of love between me and Hardik, there's hardly any banter. I can tell him about that (the catch), definitely.

The victory margin might suggest it was one-sided but Lucknow Super Giants were in the game till the halfway mark of the chase. Kyle Mayers got going in the powerplay while Quinton de Kock, playing his first game, took a bit of time but the pair got 72 runs in the first six overs. But once that stand was broken by Mohit Sharma, LSG lost the momentum and a tiring de Kock was their last hope, he fell for a 41-ball 70 and that was LSG's chase done. Mohit was pick of the bowlers for the Titans as he picked up a 4-fer and made the most of a surface which slowed down as the game progressed.

Mohit Sharma: We talk a lot to each other. What to do when the ball is old and when it is new. It was a day wicket, so the wicket was expected to get slower and that's what I spoke with Shami. I have practised the knuckle-ball but there is an injury on one of my fingers, so not using that. We tried to keep the slower ball out of the reach of the batter. We speak a lot to Ashu bhai [Ashish Nehra] - especially what to bowl to which batter. Length balls are necessary as well, it is all not about the slower ones.

Mohit not getting so Gill i guess
