de Kock congratulates Shubman Gill who ends on 94. He looks visibly tired as he makes his way back. What a performance from GT. Set up by their openers. It was Saha who was the aggressor as he took on the mantle from Gill. Boundaries just flowed in the powerplay and soon Saha was raising his bat for a 20-ball fifty. In comparison, Gill was subdued but soon upped the rate himself. Saha was set for a 100 but a fine catch ended his innings. Hardik came in at 3 and was looking to go for it from ball one. At the end, Gill lost a bit of energy and mistimed a couple of shots, otherwise the 100 was well within reach. But 227 is a tremendous total on this pitch. The conditions should stay the same so LSG with their power-packed batting will hope they can put up a good fight. Back for the chase in 5 minutes...
