Can call this forum India Religious, Sanatan Dharm, Hindu religion, Bhakti Forum, Aradhana Forum whatever you feel right. Mythology is wrong.
Tata Play are sensitive in this matter. They have named the channel Aradhana that shows Religious functions from the temples around the country, Shows that have been made before, Kathas, bhakti music etc.
Similarly they have an Ibadat channel for Islam.
Please think about this.

Mythology is the study of myths in general and the study of myths particular to a culture. A myth refers to a story that is supposed to have occurred at an unspecified time in the past. Myths often involve gods and goddesses, and they exist to explain particular natural phenomena or traditionally held beliefs.
Why is mythology called myth?
In academia, the term "myth" often refers to stories whose culture regards them as true (as opposed to fictitious). Thus, many scholars will call a body of stories "mythology", leaving open the question of whether the stories are true or false.

This forum has been on IF since last 13 years. Earlier it was known as "Mythological Masti".
In recent past some took this word masti seriously & started misinterpreting representatives of our faith in humiliating manner, claiming it should be allowed.
In google search some words are noticed quickly. From pt of noticeability, Mythology, specially "Indian Mythology", fits well.
Myth is an English word. Mithya is a Sanskrit word.
How can 2 words of different language be connected to derive same meaning? 
Myth & Mithya doesnt have same meaning.
Mythology has wide spectrum. Purana, Vedanta, various scriptures involving stories, different life lessons, stotras, ways of worship.... many things are included here. How can all these be called Mithya?
As per a very famous Adwaita Phylosophy - "Brahma Satya Jagat Mithya".
Everything in this World is mithya except Brahman.
To understand Brahman, Mithya (here every existence except Brahman), needs to be understood & realized first. After that only one can understand a bit of Brahman. Realizing may take some births.

माइथोलॉजी शब्द का मतलब है मिथकों का संग्रह. मिथक शब्द ग्रीक भाषा के शब्द 'मिथोस' से बना है जिसका मतलब है कहानी. मिथक धर्म और संस्कृति से जुड़ी कहानियां होती हैं और मौखिक कहानी कहने की परंपरा से आती हैं. माइथोलॉजी के कुछ और मतलब ये हैं:
विश्वास, देवकथा, पौराणिक कथा, देवगाथा, पुराणकथा, रूप-विज्ञान, पुराण-संग्रह, पुराणशास्त्र, पुराणाविद्या.
Collection of different Puranaik Katha, representatives of our Faith, collection of stories of various characters of our Rich culture, are included here. This forum is mainly for Hindu Mythology. These stories are not fake. There are various references of Puranas in our other scriptures too. Read different puja methods too. One just needs to search.

There was no research done. It was already known, thanks to multiple mytho forums of IF. Previous shows were really good.
