I think Javed Akhtar is doing the best job as a judge.His criticism is genuine and he has no favourites.His comment that whoever performs best will win is so true .Alisha reminds me of Farah who always praised sandeep acharya even though he sang like a gadha.She praised suhit for his really bad singing and then deflated Prashant who is a good singer who can move you.I think she has something against simple poor folk and is snobbish.Udit narayan is so so too(not at all convincing) and the contestants were lucky Anu Malik was not there otherwise most would have been cracking already with nervousness.

Yh man i agree, they are so damn lucky tht Anu Malik wasn't there!

Today i watched an old epi of Indian Idol 2 with Sonu Nigam, and my god he is a good jugde!

Javedji is the best judges..... He even is betta then Anu Malik...... Anu Malik criticises you by hurting you whereas Javedji criticises you with a tone that your not hurt instead you're determined and ready to take up a challenge.

As for Alisha...... I just had it with her. She is completely biased towards Suhit and does not know the meaning a sur and lai or even singing, if she did she wouldnt criticise singers like Amit/Smita and praise her toy boy Suhit......

As for Udit..... Well I hardly understand what he says...... He sometimes makes no sense and well also is sometimes biased towards Ankita for some reason......

javedji's is constructive criticicism ....very helpful... alisha is sick.... uditji has no personal opinion...
