Was the finale about Ashaji?

As a judge I think Ashaji has had too much importance. Even in the finale - why did she have so much time to sing? I thought the show was about the singers. She has had years of displaying her talent and art so why could they not have had the some more singers for the Top 12? Also they singled out Poorvi and gave her a lot of praise. She is good but what about the other singers who also have worked hard and also have more talent and are more rounded than Poorvi. I found Indian Idol 6 to be all about Ashaji, her fondness of Dev and undue importance given to Poorvi. In the finale the other singers could have been given a chance to sing again and show how much they had improved since the elimination.
