Abhijeet Sawant (Indian Idol)...get's ready to rock Kolkata

India's first ever Indian Idol, Abhijeet Sawant, is going to perform live today (11th feb 2006) at Science City auditorium(Kolkata). The show is scheduled to begin at 6pm....Sawant, who has recently launched "Aapka Abhijeet"...his life story...feels that the city, kolkata, is close to his heart. His debut album picked up it's 2nd highest profit from the City Of Joy...the city is often referred to as the "cultural capital of India" ......

the program started at 7pm,1st performed by toxic dance group,then sonali salvakar came and sang a couple of songs thn rakesh and pragya(red fm) came and called up abhi but abhi said that he would only come if they could arrange for "mishti doi and rosogolla".then he came from among the audience singing"mohabatein lut..." and then he rocked the stage. he was wearing black jacket,black tshirt,and jeans. he was looking awesome as usual. he identified us and said"hi" to us from the stage. he sang,danced,joked and rocked the stage. it was a memorable evening.
