(body language you called)

Tell you what if you are mature analyst of MUSIC you will not even try to focus more on body language really and for your info , you are right I never ever disagreed with your comments in previous rounds though i never posted my own comments but i did read everyone's...this time you crossed the limit !! 7 due to body language i mean wht is this?? if my comments are baseless yours are rootless...hence without consideration of singing

its all roundedness that counts. Stage presence, presentation, style, expressions, connectivity to the audience-all important, singing-yes. OPTIMALITY of all these parameters is what makes a complete live performer. And Sadhnaji was the best here.

I have always liked her as a singer, not a performer. She has given many performances before but this one-just doesn't make the cut. Period.

While LISTENING to a song, do you actually see their bodies?
Why don't you go and watch some nice dance shows where you can see bodies performing?

ALD, body language HAS to be considered. It forms a part of my weightage. I mean if you go to sing and just stand in front of mike and sing with your eyes closed, is that called a live performance? It is like reciting a poem by a failed student who is forced or punished in front of audience.
Come on, grow up!

I am seeing her as well as listening her. THIS IS A VIDEO SHOOT. 2 In 1.

And why did dance shows came in between? seems like you have a craze for dance that you keep talking about dance shows in between. Its a singing and singing plus performance thread, not a dance thread.

Okay just heard the performance

Great singing by Alkaji. All throughout the song, I thought she was just singing great. Most it was flawless and perfect. There was some strain on some of her high notes, but most of it was just great. This was a pretty difficult song to sing, and making it live made it even more difficult. Nonetheless she handled it great.

As far as body language goes, sure in a live performance it has to count for something. However, I thought her body language was sufficient in this song, its not like she just stood there and sung it. She was using many hand gestures, and there was some expression in her face too. So I thought that was done solid too.

Overall, great performance.

hmm singing with closed eyes isn't an expression of emotion yea? so Rakesh who sang with closed eyes on ll...you think he was not giving a performance in front of the audience and judges then? so if people dance and all on the stage they would be like failed students without any job but just to jump on the stage and have fun?

I too agree with you but this is LIVE PERFORMANCE. you have to perform from your soul my friend, not from upar upar se.
