I loved Alkajis sweet voice, she did a great job. I was thinking of rating it a 9.5 but as I gave Sadhanaji a 10, I think even Alkaji deserves a 10.

No I suggested this song AGES ago during the tie-break rounds. CPR was in charge of selecting Alka's best song, to give competition to Anuradha's song. And I recommended having a look at this.

great song. It always overwhelms me with emotion.

It would have been a sureshot 10/10 but we've got to be critical if were going to narrow down the competition. And I think I'll have to knock off half a Mark for those screechy high notes. The song is not as challenging as the others in this round.

Making this 9/10

Nobody can beat Alkaji in the mesmerising effect she puts on thelistener...her expressions are too good and modulations were superb...as it is compared to mere dholna I give her a 9.
