We all have different opinions on singing quality and the song. No human being is born to have the same thoughts on every single thing. We have the right to state our own opinions, express our own feelings. Its a free world and each individual has a right to express what they feel.
Nothing was wrong in Sunidhi's singing. BUT it lacked a lot in comparison to her other songs. Take her other hits for example:

Put all these songs in comparison with this one. It falls weak. AND THAT IS ONLY MY OPINION. No one has to agree with it. But I feel all these songs are better and higher in difficulty level too. At this stage we have to weigh out everything in the singer. We can't let even the smallest flaws slip out. We are not hating on any singer. Because in true regards they are all winners in the first place. Who are we judge them anyways? Its only a game!

Though some of those song selections above were good, others were just laughable at this point. Plus, the song selection this round was actually really good in terms of singing and difficulty, you could even tell Sunidhi was giving it all she has in the song. Though the only problem I think is
a) The song was not a hit song
b) The lyrics and meaning of this song is too much for some
These things are problems with the song, rather than singing. And that's why people like debayon, killer, and you, have not graded it so highly. If this was a sad song, with the same type of singing, CPR you would give it a 9 or 10. As others have said, it takes 3 times listening to it for the singing to sink in. For you, who is depressed, 10 times wouldn't be enough.
Like I care about your lame comments, take a break or something, I think you're down with Chamiya-phobia πOriginally posted by: ssk13809

Excuse me? What gives you the right to make those type of cheap personal remarks at me? As I've stated earlier, each individual has their own opinions on everything. No one has to agree with everything you say. You are free to state yours, let us be free to state ours. And don't point fingers at my judgement by saying that if it were a sad song I'd have given a higher rating because that's not true. It depends on the singing and if the singer gave the right expression and feel to the song that was required.

Bolded part. Listen to the song again, and honestly tell me you think she did not have the right expression and feel that was required. If you really thought Sunidhi Chauhan didn't here, then....

THAT'S NOT THE ONLY THING WE'RE SUPPOSED TO JUDGE! We're at a point in the competition where EVERYTHING matters. Expressions, feel, connectivity, difficulty level, variations, tempo, taal, sur, sargam, and whatever else the singer requires. EVERYTHING, SSK. What do you want me to give her? 10? or even a 9? When the song clearly wasn't deserving of that high of a score IN MY OPINION. Why do you want everyone to agree with you? YOU ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. NEITHER AM I. AND NEITHER IS ANYONE ELSE! OPINIONS is the key word!!!!!
