Though the film wasn't a success..but the song is really good..

Coming to the singing, there is nice unique tonal quality of Sunidhi here. Its hard to imagine Sunidhi singing such a subtle song like this. The way her voice fluctuates in the line "Bhaagay Re Mann Kahin" is really nice. Sometimes her voice becomes rough, especially in the lower notes.

The expressions are nice, pleasant. Some places I felt the throw could have been better. This is definitely a difficult song to sing, no doubt. Sunidhi's control over her voice is evident, but sometimes I felt that she restricted it too much. Overall, a good performance from Sunidhi, she proves her versatility yet again.

I would like to give her an 8 out of 10.

It's remarkable that Sunidhi Chauhan sang this. I think this album was a new height in Sunidhi Chauhan's career. After this was when I think she declared herself the most versatile singer, and also started getting more offers for softer songs. Brilliant singing.

I like this a lot better than "Mere Haath Mein", because as you could see in her voice it was not monotonous and as she sang every line it wasn't flat and was lively as she sang her lines.

In this song, she sang very well to the smallest details of the song.
Beheta hai mann kahin, kahaan jaante nahinShe sang these lines nice and slow, and paid attention to the smallest details in her singing.


Her most main sequences,
Dhhundhhu main kahaan usko, batlaaye koyi mujhko
Ke haan haan haan re
Bhaage re mann kahin
she goes high, in "Dhhundhu main kahaan" shows some of the power in her voice, and then suddenly comes down to "ke haan haan" and starts singing soft again, outstanding!

liked the last time she goes through the main sequences, with a little faster beat in the background, Sunidhi adds more harkats the last time she goes through it too. Very nicely done.



Overall, great singing. Listening to this song one would expect that she has been singing songs like this all her life. That's just how great it was. Great display of talent. The only thing I could say could've been better is the voice quality. Though she has great voice quality, even in this song, a voice quality like Shreya or Alka's would've suited this song a little better. But it was still great, and singing ability-wise it was A+.
