Sunidhi is a singer which you would not necessarily relate with words like melody, calm singing etc, rather she is related with terms like-openness to voice, high note throws, item songs, songs with attitude etc.

For a singer like sunidhi, singing in a controlled voice 2 scales lower than her usual, adding melody and those small attention to details at wordings "behka hai man kahin", especially the modulation of sur and voice is immense pleasure to hear. It takes lot if practice to achieve this level of perfection to sing a track which she sang.
The producer surely may have had goosebumps before signing her like should I or shouldn't I?
Its a big gamble that has handsomely paid off.
This is the reason why I love Indian music, cause it showcases different sides of a kalakaar.
She has sung softly, calmly, and timed her sur with immense accuracy just as and when required and it simply gels well with the mood of the track, with added pleasure of listening.
