Here is what your co-judge said to me when I told him that Sunidhi will win this competition easily.

Not necessarily. Well so far yes. If they try to sing modern/item/dance songs yes. But if they go to more traditional/indian/dance songs, then they have a chance. By that I mean, dance songs that aren't that modern, yet still dance songs. In other words, avoiding the modern music like hip-hop and so on. For example, "Nimbooda Nimbooda", and some wedding dance songs, and so on. I think you get what I'm trying to say. Singing "Those" type of dance songs they can match Sunidhi.
But if they take the modern and item dance song approach, like "Latoo" or "Ishq Kamina", yes you are right...

So now you are telling me that judges are not thinking in the same direction.

Let me come in CPR's defense, and say, brahmabul you are severely misunderstanding everything. 😆

You are quoting me, and say I broke dance songs to 2 main categories

modern/item/dance songs, and traditional/indian/dance songs. Okay. Let's call the first one Type I, and the second one Type II.

Here is the post of mine you are quoting
It was a HIT song! A big hit too. brahmabul I've seen you often hate on HIT item/dance songs, and you just don't like them. What's wrong with you?
So as I have written, item/dance songs. Which would fall into category Type I as mentioned before.

Now since I was saying you hate Type I dance songs, CPR expected you to name Type I dance songs you like. While some were, many weren't. CPR expected you to name Type I, while you went out and named mostly Type II. That's all.

So you're just confused.

@ssk

What I want to know from you is which song out of the ten songs do you think was not fit for this round?

Thats not the point. They are not Item/Dance Songs though. That's what you quoted. Even in that long post you quoted, I had broken them to 2 categories. One Modern/Item/Dance songs, and then the more traditional/Indian/dance songs.

In this thread I was talking about you not liking Item/Dance songs. But you end up naming mostly the other kind.

That's where the confusion arrived. Sure most the songs you named can be played in this round. But most of those were not the type of songs I was talking about.

Wow. So just because CPR pointed out so now you say like this. You never pointed this earlier. Although I am very sure by saying item number she meant that songs which I mentioned were not fit for this round.

Ok here is a list of TYPE I item numbers which I like.

Yeh Mera Dil from Don (new)
Chamma Chamma from China Gate
Chaiyan Chaiyan from Dil Se
Mahi Ve from Kaante
Kaal Dhmaal from Kaal
Hey Baby from Hey Baby
Kali Nagin Ke Jaise from Mann
Kajra Re from Bunty aur Babli
Phir Milege Chalte Chalte from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
Mayya Mayya from Guru

I hope its fine with both you and CPR now.

What is going on round here! This is obviously a dance song AND an item song. It was a hit song, too. Of course everyone has their preferences - they may dislike the song/singing. That's the point of the game lol - people give their opinions/preferences!

The round is dance / item songs.. as said by risingabove

Another obvious Dance/Item song!

and brahmabul used the word "dance songs".. so he stands correct in his place. All these songs given by him are "dance" songs. So, they can easily fit into this round I think.

Cheers!

First let me start out by saying, great song!

Okay, good singing overall by Alka Yagnik here. She usually doesn't do songs like this. But when she does them, she does a solid job singing. Her voice quality was great as usual, otherwise, it looks she was having a tough time keeping up with the pace when the song forces the sing to sing quickly. She usually prefers slower songs, so thats why that was a problem. Still not too bad.

So overall, good singing, but this clearly is not her forte.
