^^ Although it wasn't her debut, 'Mehboob Mere' was one of the defining songs in Sunidhi's career because it was her first big 'item' song. Since then she has gone on to rule this genre of singing. Great choice!

And as a great composition, this song deserves its place in the Anu Malik appreciation thread, too!

And 'Kaisi Paheli Zindagani is another feather in Sunidhi's cap because she is the only current generation singer to have playbacked for Rekha! Shantanu Moitra, the composer, was forced to look beyond Shreya Ghoshal (his friend and favourite female singer) for this song, because only Sunidhi has the raspiness and versatility in her voice to sing such a smooth cabaret number.

'Sajna ve Sajna ve' is ANOTHER feather in Sunidhi's cap as she was the lead singer of the album. She sang all the female tracks, from the mellow 'Bhaagey re mann' to the dancey 'Sajna ve sajna ve'!

Hhmmmm... Mehboob Mere is a good track. Though I have reservations regarding its video. Never-the-less it was a huge hit of its time.

Sunidhi Chauhan is one of my favourite playback singers...I just love her voice. She can sing any type of songs given to her..

Okay this has to be one of the best sunidhi episodes today...she performed, she sang, she taught..im in AWE of her..when she taught manisha the attitude of the song, that was FANTASTIC...and then she danced with shivam

She has been so lively and into helping the contestants truly. She is really a fantastic singer and mentor. Applaud for her 👏
