After yesterday's elimination, anything is possible. But I still hope Ananya & Piyush make it to the finale.

Saturdays episode was lovely, didn’t know a Hemant Kumar was responsible for such iconic songs. He’s not as popular as some others from that era, so many of us don’t know much about him. Moushmi Chatterjee was like a breath of fresh air, no pretense, liked her.

The performances:

1. Obom - hai Apna dil to awaara and oh hansini. These are fairly easy and light songs, and Obom always gets these songs. Singing wise he wasn’t good, but they weren’t pathetic. But in a singing show, he deserved to be eliminated.

2. Dipan - yaad kiya dil ne kahan ho tum and rimjhim gire sawan. As usual he was good. He’s fairly consistent but not one of my favourites but on Saturday he was clearly very good.

3. Menuka - Kahin deep jale and tera saath hai to. She sings the same type of songs so that’s not showing any versatility, besides her pace problem was evident. Of course she forgot the lyrics too and deserved to be eliminated.

4. Piyush - na Tum hamein Jaano , mujhe choo gayi hai and megha re. Piyush again is very consistent but that when you expect more from the contestant. His first two songs were good but typical Piyush, but with Megha Re he was fantastic.

5. Ananya - Mera dil yeh pukare and bhanvra bada nadan. It’s like she can never set a foot wrong. It’s almost impossible to find fault in her singing. If she doesn’t win, it’ll be injustice.

Sunday - Was hoping for a better episode considering the lovely songs Shahid has, but I was left disappointed by the singing and choice of songs.

Adya- ek kudi. She ruined the song for me. I’d rather she have sung dhan te nan which Anjana sang. I seriously don’t understand who is voting to save her.

Anjana - Thumkeshwari and dhan te nan. Thumkeshwari was ok, but she was brilliant with dhan te nan. She is very versatile though she’s been typecast to sing only certain kind of songs. What I liked about her performance is that she added her own to the songs.

Subhojit - ek dil hai Ek jaan hai, aaoge jab Tum oh sajna. He was good but you could see him put a lot of effort especially in the second song. So there were places which were slightly overdone for me. Not bad, but was noticeable.

Vaibhav - Kaise hua, Raatbhar and mauja hi mauja. It was an enjoyable performance. Not been a fan of his vocal quality, he for me isn’t a background singer material, but as a performer he’s LIIT!!!

Utkarsh - tu Mera koi na hoke bhi kuch lage and bekhayali. He was ok in his first song, but with the second he just didn’t click. I was very surprised by his poor performance today. This is so not Utkarsh. It’s sad that one poor performance led him to be in the bottom three.

Basis this weeks performances the bottom three should’ve been - Adya, Menuka and Utkarsh. In the past judges have used their veto power to save someone, wish they would’ve saved Utkarsh, everyone knows he didn’t deserve to go before Obom and Adya atleast.

I’m so upset, this happens on most reality tv shows, we should be used to it, but many of us still come on social media and vent out. Guess ITV will never change

We can make Ananya reach the finals.. remember initially Arunita didn't top the voting list? She won over fans through her talent and earned those votes..earned her spot in the finale.

And Ananya has also been consistent from what I read here. She has entered top 5 in voting. Can very well be a finalist

My watching show or not watching show won’t matter to reach Ananya final because I don’t live in India and because of that I can’t vote. So neither I can contribute trp to be honest don’t want to because Sony doesn’t deserve it. I really hope that trp goes down. They are getting trp of 1.0 now next season.they won’t even get this if they continued to do this kind of behaviour with their contestants and disrespect their talent. Also are you talking g about those YouTube voting thing that people shared I don’t think they are true though if that’s the case Menuka wouldnt have eliminated because I think she was in number 1 and Utkarsh’name would have announce in fist for audience giving less votes because he was in 4th position.

Because he knew he was going to eliminated. He was one of the strong contestants and confident so how come suddenly he was nervoush. It was all planned from the channel because when he forgot lyrics even than he didn’t blank out or got nervoush in remaining performance. he just continued. All the behaviour to him from Channel and production house was the sign that he was next one to go. That’s why I said that here beginning of the week but no one believed me not showing your hit and lit moment is not common that doesn’t happen with everyone. Neither he was channel favorite that’s why he wasn’t promoted as much as other from channel or PH. There are four-five who are promoted constantly their promo was shared every week not just from channel but from PH account too. All those singing reels that Fremantle posted his was the least among all the contestant. Even if channel posted his promo it was always in last minute leaving first few weeks. Neither he was judges favorite like some of the other contestants where they could use their veto power to save them. Yeh sab dekhne ka bad kisiko bhi lagega next number is his to be channel ka scapegoat it was evident in his performance he was prepared to go so he didn’t even tried and gave up. Otherwise why would you give bad performance that too in elimination day. It’s sad to see that even today talent se jyada your popularity matter karti. It doesn’t matter if you are talented or not bas popular hona chaiye.

Going by the general theory, winners/ finalists seldom make it big, the eliminated ones do well. Shirisha is the recent example esp when compared to Arunita.

Thanks all for the reviews and comments. Looks like the saga of non-deserving candidates going far while deserving candidates going far away continues!

He was crying throughout both the performances. He has unfollowed Shubhdeep few days back. Puri ki puri daal Kali hai.

I don’t think he is unfollowing Shubhadeep he is in still his following list. Obviously he was the channel did so dirty to him that it broked him so-much that he couldn’t perform properly. Even if he could have performed well he would have gone channel would have invent some or other new rule to eliminate because this is not the first time that it had happened in reality show especially at same channel.
