Are these songs going to be repeated?
They sang well but I liked the Govinda episode songs better.
I was noticing in this video at the end how Anjali’s father made a face. He doesn’t seem to appreciate other singers. Just a feel I get sometimes. Where as Sayali’s father and even SMP’s mother claps for all singers.
They are singing 2 songs: Pyaar hua ikraar hua
And Gaata rahe mera dil.
this channel has interviewed the two in the past and seems to have reliable info.

Likely some frustration and resentment involved, which is understandable. Any father would want their daughter to have ample opportunity, however Anjali has likely been given the least. If I were her father, I’d have wanted her to also receive 3-4 songs a week, and to be given duets with popular male counterparts. Shes had 0 duets with Pawan and likely won’t get any for the rest of the season. She’s young and maybe lacks some of the polished versatility that we see with Arunita and Sayli, but it’s probably still frustrating for her father to watch his daughter consistently receive the least spotlight. So possibly just some pent up resentment towards the shows headliners.

True to some extent but still as a musician himself he can appreciate others talent. If he has a bone to grind against makers, he can’t take out on the contestants.
I feel Anjali has been pushed into this a bit too early. I don’t know what is the age bracket for this Indian idol but it’s never good to be the youngest of the lot. She should have waited a couple of years until she was at least 17 or maybe 18 before she participated. She would have gotten better recognition for her talent.
On Indian idol they have stated that her father has been very strict and I feel somewhere she has lost her childhood in trying to prove herself on different platforms at a very young age. Of course, parents want the best for their children.
But the good part of participating in Indian idol for her is that now she is spending time with other contestants and seems to be getting along well with them and enjoying her time on Indian idol. She has opened up and blossoming as a teenager.
A realty show is all about popularity and a channel is going to feed to what the audience wants. Anjali sings well but is not as versatile. The classical portions even the others girls sang well - sireesha, Arunita ..
Anjali is trained classical and it is not necessary to take unnecessary long alaps, it takes away from the song, and I think, Pyarelalji pointed that out to her.
True.. but they won't give it to same contestants mostly when its already trending everywhere

Well, she gets her the day after Pawan. I still feel that she was in the scheme of things all along. This charade of ignoring her in the beginning may be a well written script.
Vishal ignores her performances and seems to like Sayli more. But he chose to tell her about the playback opportunity after she finished even though he could have done the reverse because Sayli sang earlier. That would have been normal behaviour.
I hope I am right in interpreting these small signals. I can't believe that the channel and the judges do not know her worth! She proved to be one contestant who made it to the top through sheer merit, without being pushed by the makers.
