Imlie saw Surya in Agastya ka wedding attire. Bechari couldn't take it. How did he say shut up and just shut up ke kaka. I'm confused. Did Imlie ever say this before him, how does he know? Surya ko keede pade for doing this. I'm glad for once Chacha Chachi interfered. Warna yeh aadmi toh pura Imlie to trap kar deta. Sabko he is hurting with this behavior specially Imlie.

I have a lot of love and respect for Sanatana Dharma honestly, I always grew up reading everything I could about it. Especially when it comes to Radha-jhi because her definition of love was always the closest to what I believed myself, which is why I love Imlie so much.

Yes I am also confused as to how Surya knows the banter that is only known to them - Just Shut up Imlie and Just shut up ke Kaka. If this was Agastya with no memory loss then whatever reason he is doing it has to be really big for causing Imlie this much pain and emotional torture. I am really hoping Surya came to know this banter talks from someone else and used it. I can take Surya to be Agastya only with memory loss condition and someone giving him tablets to repress the memories.
Whatever it was when Sonali was being insulted, Agsatya would not have sat back and watched the tamasha. So I am really thinking it is not Agastya here.

This was a good one! I went through so many different emotions. Imlie brings me to tears whenever she talks so passionately about August Babu, it makes me miss him so much. He really was a gem of a character.
Felt so weird hearing Sai speak as Agastya after such a long time, you could feel that it was Surya. He slightly changed the intonation to lack that warmth that we were used to hearing with Imlie’s Babu. These little details and nuances is what makes his performances so nice to watch. My chappal stayed on my feet today, didn’t even have the time to get mad because it was such a nicely executed scene.
Sanket’s screen presence paired with his BGM is something else, completely took over the room with his energy. We got our first Amrit and Amar confrontation, although I want Sonali to have her fire back as well. They’re making her the damsel in the middle when she is so much more.
Surya is such a bad cop, the Chaudhary blood runs deep in his veins because Imlie is somehow to blame for everything in his mind, ek dum apni Dadi par gaya hai. Amrit clearly has stronger motive than Imlie like come on, kya police wala banega re tu….

Binni’s truth won’t get exposed for a fact, I feel like Surya will kick him out. He needs Binni for his plans against Imlie to work. But at least with whatever Amrit will say, doubt of some sorts will hopefully start sowing itself in some of the Chaudhary’s mind.
Overall, a lengthy but well paced episode. Really hoping they keep it that way till the wedding, we also need a promo to be on the way soon.

There’s a little instance where you can see his jaw tense up when Sonali gets insulted by the guest. I was surprised to see him react at first because Surya only cares for Malti na? He put his head down all bheegi billi style the moment his Amma started speaking to him, didn’t move an inch to defend his older sister.
But then he came up to Imlie all angry because he thought she put the pictures up in an attempt to stop his engagement with Binni. His behaviour isn't consistent. There is no valid or redeemable reason that would justify everything Surya has done so far if he’s Agastya without memory loss.
We’re reading into everything but sometimes I feel like the writers just throw stuff in for shock factor without considering the plot. They knew “Just shut up” would make us react strongly. I don’t want to look at it as a clue that he’s August Babu for now. I’m just going to take it as a cruel prank from Surya who could be an amnesiac Agastya.

Ramadan Mubarak girl!
It was a really enjoyable episode. I am not as mad as I expected coz the focus was not on Surya becoming Agastya and because of how Imlie recognized his bluff. I legit cried with the flashbacks (even if they were wig wale). Agastya as a character was something else. No kal ka aaya Surya can match upto him and his goodness.
I agree with both of you that it’s annoying to see Imlie take a stand for everyone except herself. Patha nai why this massive respect she has for Dadi that she keeps taking her shit all the time. Surya and Binni and the neighbours ko she gives a seedha jawab and doesnt take their shit. The only hope is that when the family gets to the truth Imlie walks out with her head held high (even if she forgives them). Her promise to babu is over and she can move on. This family does not deserve her sacrifices.
Today’s episode somewhere also proved that Imlie will not marry him to stop the wedding. She will still save the family by other ways and Surya came across as super desperate to make Imlie speak the truth. I see him forcing the wedding on her. I didn’t mind Sonali not standing up for herself coz they had to show Imlie take a stand for Sonali this time. Sai was exceptional in that scene. He played Agastya in Surya ka character. For a second also he didnt feel like Agastya cos the voice was slightly different, more cold less warm. In one of the Insta edits he mentioned how it is difficult to portray 2 contrasting characters in such short time when you dont get time in TV to settle down in characters. He needs to take a bow, keeps impressing me, this man.
Sharada, I will also not accept this as Agastya with no memory loss. There is no reason strong enough to make Imlie hurt so much, let Sonali be insulted and not react. They need to give the wedding promo soon.
