Lala ji's didi aka sonali

Hello friends so here is my first topic on this forum.. Enjoy and share your views guys❤

So as I said in other topic on forum that after August My favorite character in the show is SONALI 🔥 she giving solid takkar to August and as an actor she is doing full justice to her role..sonali and August strike so well as siblings from the start of show there scenes have that spark there tashan scenes are whistle worthy man both brother and sister are smart.. Calm and knows how to tackle each other till now we have witnessed barabar ki takkar though August has defeated sonali in this property matter but I am sure she will bounce back as we can see how she managed to get that bar video of imlie and now it will be interesting to see how it goes for now all in all it will be treat to watch the game of siblings🔥

I am also looking forward for there scenes after Sonali gets to know about her husbands true colors I am sure she will have bad breakdown and August will surely stand by his sister give her much needed support handle her in that vulnerable state and I am sure both Sai and Asma gonna nail those scenes as well the they doing now these tashan scenes 🔥

Yes Kavya !! Sonali is too good and the way she calls Agastya as lala is so sweet .. I really hope they get along well in future .. want to see their bond ♥️

I'm telling you honestly I absolutely adore the scenes between the siblings. Usually it's a loving relationship between siblings where the brother can do anything for his sister but here the dynamic is slightly different.

There's animosity from the sister's side because Agastya is a half brother. His presence in the house is a constant reminder of her father's betrayal and mom's life long pain and agony. Plus the fact that he is claiming rights on their business and the death of the real brother adds another element of hate in their equation.

While Agastya still deeply cares for his sister and her well being, he also needs to balance the family reputation and business. He brings out a nice competitive side to Sonali. If not for the rivalry they would not have such magical chemistry. The lalla ji, Didi in a mocking tone and the coin and trying to defeat the other make it for a very interesting watch. The best part is that both actors match in acting so it feels good to watch. Sometimes I wonder if I'd have watched the show only for Sonali and Agastya scenes had Imlie not been in the equation and the answer is yes. Even on a standalone basis they make for a good story / plot.

In fact I'd love to see a story with 2 business rivals (unrelated) like that falling in love while fighting for getting the business on their name. A bit similar was a show called Hotel Kingston I faintly remember over a decade ago. That had a bit similar dynamic as well.

Anyways, I'm happy the talented supporting cast is getting their due acknowledgement here. Asma is a powerhouse performer and she's doing a fab job as Sonali. Quite effortless I must say ❤️❤️

Red- I highly doubt that yeh din kabhi aayega bhi qnki she is a kind of woman Jo bachpan se seekhi hai ki EMA mein sirf aurat hi responsible hoti hai mard nahi. See today's episode she don't even acknowledge her father's betrayal , fickle minded attitude instead she just keeps on blaming August's mom as woman like her are solely responsible for seducing rich man, trapping them in their fake love and build their own castle ruining someone's else happy married life.

Jab usko apne papa ki galti nahi dikhti toh pati ki kya khaak dekh paegi agar dekhegi bhi toh she will put the entire blame on Imlie as if girl like Imlie are born to lure rich married man just like her Late MIL. Uski hatred aur badh jaegi August ke upar ki August ki Maa and Biwi somehow responsible in breaking her and Alka's marita life.

Green - August will surely stand by his wife not sister qnki chances are high ki Imlie ko sl******** karegi Sonali and alka will join too.

Wow that's an interesting perspective to be honest. I never thought on those lines. You are right in most of the interactions (even Agastya for that matter), somehow took his father's infidelity lightly while entirely blaming the mother for seducing the man.

There's a lot of sections of the society where this happens and all blame is on the other woman for trying to break a family without actually pointing out the blame of the man in the EMA.

I really wish to see Sonali realise that her husband is a cheat and there's nothing wrong with her or that none of it was her fault. May be that's when she will also realize that Agastya ki mom wasn't as responsible as her own father.

I would love to see Agastya support his wife as much as his sister. I dont think they would be at opposite sides here coz both Imlie and Sonali will be the victims while Jeeja will be the guilty party.

Great that you have created this post as Asma/Sonali deserves this recognition.

She is very sweet when calling ASC lala, all be it mockingly but what a fireball when she challenges him on an equal footing. They work so brilliantly together that I could just watch them and their battles.

Nothing fazes Sonali and she is relentless in her quest for the business so like I mentioned in another post be interesting to see how things pan out with her husband. I think she actually knows deep down his creepy side but will it all come out and will she still be as fiery with him as she is with her lala??

Absolutely effortless !!! As Kavya said when she breaks down Agastya for sure will support her !!

Already he told his jeeja once that she is my sis after all and I’m worried for her something like that ( don’t remember clearly )

Yeah even I feel she somewhere knows this but isn't ready to confront the obvious. She rather stay in delusion than face the fact that her husband is not a good human being and her life is just like her mother's.

If you see the jeeja manipulating her so easily, you will think how this smart cunning calculative business woman is not able to catch on her husband's lie.

I don't think she will be fiery with her husband. She will most probably break down and Agastya will stand by her and fight the jeeja. After all this is the only way how Agastya will mend his relationship with his sister.

They say love is blind but theirs is not a marriage based on love me thinks so she is simply ignoring his ways and putting all her energy into her only goal - the business. She said this to her mother didn’t she that that’s her only focus when Alka was asking her to think about having a baby I think.
