Ever since the Surpita track started, the interest to watch the episodes have faded. Aur upar se 2019 ka special global visitor humare ghar pe bhi pahuncha - pehle hubby ko aur ab mere ko pakad gaya. Isaliye, these days didn't have a mood to login or post anything in the forum. But, after watching today's episode I wanted to thank the CVs for not using Meethi's karz plot to take Aryan on another guilt trip.
In one of my threads, soon after the marriage, I had already mentioned that Aryan will not leave Imlie even if he comes to know about Imlie being forced by Meethi. Exactly because it was inline with his promise to Meethi to protect Imlie at any cost, which was one of his reasons to marry Imlie. So, I was sure that Meethi forcing Imlie to marry Aryan would not affect him much. At the same time, I was doubtful of how CVs will deal with his pain of becoming a reason of Imlie cutting her ties with Meethi. But CVs surprised me with Saturday & today's episode. Instead of using it to take Aryan on a guilt trip, they indeed showed Imlie wrong. Arylieians, did you hear that??? The CVs really showed their FL being guilty. Something that happens once in a blue moon with ITV FLs. We need to celebrate this - firstly for showing Imlie wrong and secondly for using Aryan initially as a pointer to her faults and then as a solution provider to her.
Having said that, I must say that more than Imlie's pain and guilt, it is Aryan's words of blaming himself for everything that touched me more. Probably because, to me, Imlie deserved it for the way she adamantly cut off all her ties with Meethi. Now, I hope that CVs will start toning down Imlie's harshness when dealing with or describing Aryan. Her 'bardash kar legi' in today's episode left a bitter taste with me, especially since Aryan too was present in that scene, about which Imlie was aware of. After her 'aisa mat bolo ABP' in Saturday's episode, getting her this harsh dialogue will only leave viewers confused as whether Imlie has a dual personality.
