Thank you CVs for not taking Aryan on another guilt trip

Ever since the Surpita track started, the interest to watch the episodes have faded. Aur upar se 2019 ka special global visitor humare ghar pe bhi pahuncha - pehle hubby ko aur ab mere ko pakad gaya. Isaliye, these days didn't have a mood to login or post anything in the forum. But, after watching today's episode I wanted to thank the CVs for not using Meethi's karz plot to take Aryan on another guilt trip.

In one of my threads, soon after the marriage, I had already mentioned that Aryan will not leave Imlie even if he comes to know about Imlie being forced by Meethi. Exactly because it was inline with his promise to Meethi to protect Imlie at any cost, which was one of his reasons to marry Imlie. So, I was sure that Meethi forcing Imlie to marry Aryan would not affect him much. At the same time, I was doubtful of how CVs will deal with his pain of becoming a reason of Imlie cutting her ties with Meethi. But CVs surprised me with Saturday & today's episode. Instead of using it to take Aryan on a guilt trip, they indeed showed Imlie wrong. Arylieians, did you hear that??? The CVs really showed their FL being guilty. Something that happens once in a blue moon with ITV FLs. We need to celebrate this - firstly for showing Imlie wrong and secondly for using Aryan initially as a pointer to her faults and then as a solution provider to her.

Having said that, I must say that more than Imlie's pain and guilt, it is Aryan's words of blaming himself for everything that touched me more. Probably because, to me, Imlie deserved it for the way she adamantly cut off all her ties with Meethi. Now, I hope that CVs will start toning down Imlie's harshness when dealing with or describing Aryan. Her 'bardash kar legi' in today's episode left a bitter taste with me, especially since Aryan too was present in that scene, about which Imlie was aware of. After her 'aisa mat bolo ABP' in Saturday's episode, getting her this harsh dialogue will only leave viewers confused as whether Imlie has a dual personality.

She does have a dual personality.

Dekha jaye tou it isn't really a 50-50 partnership emotion wise. Only in physical fights. Which I don't really find that interesting. Ande se nikli lagti choozi si larki se 6 feet ki bnde patakwana🤪 I would have preferred Aryan doing those stunts. But that might be just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

But emotionally, she's way behind. She doesn't have the same level of intensity for Aryan as he does for her. I don't think they can be true partners if there's such an imbalance. He's only giving and giving. And she doesn't even realize, let alone reciprocate

Maybe it's a deliberate characterization of this gaon ki larki whose both mentally and physically tough. Being all loud and brash, thinking she's the savior of all humanity and goodness ki moorat🤪it doesn't really work most of the time.

I have been saying it since the chappal Wala scene when Aparna was in hospital, she is insensitive towards him mostly. 😔

Imlie is a Brass, illogical and highly self image centred character, every time I see her on screen I can only see everything wrong about her. Idk about others for me except her being cute with her antics, everything about her knocks me off. That girl just doesn't behave her age and Aryan is just the DAANVEER which I definitely didn't wanted him to be. Glad his character is still 95% intact. But Imlie is like a swing swinging with her own mood swings.

Also if we notice carefully people like her gives dialogues like MONEY IS NOTHING LOVE IS EVERYTHING with the backup of people like Aryan who is a Billionaire. For me it's just Hypocrisy on her part!

In one of episodes after Adini marriage, (I think 31st December 2021 episode), we see Aryan describing Imlie as 'Imlie sabka takleef mitaane ke liye jeethi hai'. And I think that's still the crux of the show. Probably, it was our mistake to believe the makers, that Aryan marrying her might bring a change in her.... especially when they showed the difference of an Imlie going back to the Ts vs Imlie succeeding as Imlie from Pagdandiya. But, looks like it was just a cheap trick to wipe out the Ts completely and get Arylie married. Another point to be noted is that the CVs didn't use Imlie's investigation on Aravind to write an article on the same, which would have boosted her professional side and dreams. And now, with the entry of Aryan's ex, it is going to be more messy and I don't know on what basis CVs will show Imlie going to office. So, in short, I am not expecting much from the makers w.r.to imlie. Until Aryan is not butchered morally, I will continue watching the show. After that, it will be tata bye.

Agreed.

The FL is supposed to be relatable and likeable. But imlie is neither. Maybe in the makers mind she is someone capable to be idealized and celebrated. But not in my mind. There's nothing likeable in her most of the time. Only the actor playing her character is really talented. It's a waste

And Aryan tou what should I say. he's become 70% to what I never wanted him to be.

Agreed.

I don't know how long I'll be able to stick because of Aryan. I am not having any good vibes from this crazy ex track.

It's sad how so much potential gets wasted.

Till the end of the revenge track, I was ready to go with all sort of excuses to support the makers for the way they were dealing with the tracks. I even accepted Aryan saying sorry to Aditya. But, CVs sidelining such a major plot of Aryan's revenge just like that and not even using it to highlight Imlie's professional achievement, thereby giving the Aravind & Rathores a respectful closure on that matter is what really took away my faith in the team. And to add to this, the 2-minute noodle treatment in establishing Surpita's relationship convinced me fully not to expect any good tracks from them henceforth. So, I am ready to watch the third angle track with nil expectations. If it was not for Fahmaan and Sumbul, I would have now stopped watching even the bits and pieces I do now. If makers are hell bent on destroying their creation, then what can we do. Only fools will keep harbouring resentments on the makers, for something which we don't have control on. 😊
