bold , he has witnessed how imlie is ignoring arpita's word whenever Arpita said how aryan pain mein hain from 4yrs n how Arvind's death harm their familyOriginally posted by: mango.falooda
There are two different styles of communication here -- Aryan is a doer while Imlie communicates with words. For Aryan, deeds and action translate into feelings whereas for Imlie, she needs to hear sentences and words stringed together.
What is Aryan hearing -- while Imlie may say that her ex no longer matters, she is still tied to the hip to the Tripathy family. She is even prepared to do a fake marriage to keep Aditya out of jail. Now any sane person would ask why go to such lengths unless you are in still love with the person. So Aryan would logically translate her extreme actions as someone who still has feelings for Aditya
What is Imlie hearing -- she relies on words and not actions. For her, Aryan refusing to explain and the only words he has said about hating Aditya has made her think that he is obsessed with his revenge enough to even use her. She wanted an explanation and he asked her to look at his actions. From her perspective, the only reason he wants to marry her is revenge.
In order to have a true conversation, Aryan needs to come to a point where he feels safe enough to let down his shield. Right now, there isn't much about Imlie where she makes him feel safe. He is a ride till you die type character -- meaning super loyal. He does not know whether Imlie is by his side. In a roundabout way, marriage is a way of asking her for loyalty. He is asking her to stick up for him. Till she does that in action and shows that she is choosing him first over the Tripathy family, she will never hear the words she needs to hear. He needs to feel safe.
instead of searching what exactly happen with Arvind , she is more on spending time to save someone who is walking carelessly as sara work toh imlie karega

but in green , will she ever be able to understand the pain n to understand someone's pain also need tag this is confusing as Imlie will see beyond T's anything, even herself.she has relation with her amma but forget her pain n wants to take jhadu
Ussi jhadu se amma ko dhulayi karni chahiye iski

I was wondering why this quote seemed familiar. So it is from a book by Julie Garwood (any romance books fans?) -- she is actually a good author (and writes better stuff than the Bridgerton nonsense). So I don't remember the book but here is the full quote as well as the synopsis from the novel -- it has some parallels to Arylie.
Full quote:
“I know the truth now. You've figured out I'm falling in love with you and you're trying to make me stop by hurting me this way. Well it won't work.
One way or another, I'm going to make you care about me. Yes, I am, unless your cold attitude kills me first.
It's only fair, Connor. If I'm going to be miserable, by God, so are you.
I am not a common wench and I will not be treated like one.”
Synopsis of book from goodreads -- "The wedding" by Julie Garwood
It's a classic plot: a marriage of convenience that lays the groundwork for true love.
1119. Journeying from England to Scotland to wed a highlander, Lady Brenna had resigned herself to the arranged match. But when a band of fierce, painted warriors captured her en route, she fearlessly met their demand to marry their leader -- the quick-tempered laird Connor MacAlister. She couldn't know that her capture was merely the first act of vengeance against her betrothed, Connor's sworn enemy.
Brenna harbored no illusions that her husband was in love with her; after a hasty forest wedding, MacAlister assured her she could return home once she had borne him a son. But she could not deny that she had once proposed to MacAlister -- ten years ago, when she was just a child, and the visitor to her father's castle charmed her with his dazzling, unexpected smile. Now, as she sets out to win the brave chieftain whom she has come to adore, a legacy of revenge ensnares Brenna in a furious clan war -- and only her faith in her gallant hero can save her.
Parallels to Arylie
1. quick-tempered laird -- Aryan can be that
2. Connor's vengeance against her bethrothed -- in this case, Aryan vs Aditya
3. years ago when she was a child -- twitter theories the two met as children.....
My only thought -- Atif reads romance novels????? 😂
kash kare amma I mean seriously forget Aryan , just think about ur own Mother n her struggling

Very well said. I absolutely agree. Until she proves with her actions that she trusts him and he can be safe with her, he will never allow himself to be vulnerable before her.
As someone who is suffering from trauma and extended grief, it makes it even more difficult for Aryan to let down his shield. There is actually a lot we can learn from this buffalo and jungli. I always think drama characters can teach us so much about basic communication and miscommunication that occurs. If possible, will make a post later when free. :)
