As I am rewatching it: Aryan really thought long and hard after Imlie said that she would cook like this for him for the rest of her life. I like to think that the smile was thinking for a second this could be a distant possibility. New Adi isn't bad at all in this scene. Also when Adi catches Imlie laughing, he also catches Aryan staring at Imlie too. No wonder he lost his appetite. Aryan is sooo over Imlie crying for Adi but super satisfied when she orders that rice and decides to eat regardless of anything. LMAO caught some of the Tripathi's and the oldest one has literally this expression ( 🤪 ) when Malini asks for a share of property.
Also the Tripathi bro-sis duo are excessive at times but I loved how rude and sarcastic they were to Malini. I barely had the heart to fast-forward it lmaoo
That scene with Aryan finally meeting Arpita and Narmada could have been more intense. But that summarizes this family, no OTT drama. Just genuine love and thankfulness which is a contrast against the Tripathi's.
...And that brings us to that gorgeous and perfect scene of Aryan holding Imlies hand. All the times he did it before, came from a place of obligation and respect and because he is a good and fair person. But this time he genuinely cares for her and feels something something as well (yes I still want a slow burn. HE doesn't have to realize he likes her just yet...but his actions are speaking volumes).
Also is it just me but it seems like Aryan remembers falling asleep on Imlies shoulders. The camera faces him and thats when they do the hut flashback.
