@bold: LOL yes, that line about the taste of Imlie ultimately becoming indispensable even if you find it bitter initially...that line definitely seemed to foreshadow what's coming up for Adi....he already seems quite restless without Imlie around for one day....so it's possible the taste of Imlie is going to overpower him more in the coming days......lol

LOL as long as we keep our expectations rock bottom, I think we will be able to get through the journey even with missing hoops and stations😆

Waise I belatedly realized that Adi's mention of "bharosa" was more a follow up to Imlie's line about "Humein apni maa ki seekh pe aur Sita Maiyya pe pura bharosa hai".....she talked about faith, so he also said he has started to have faith in her.

Yes, it was so out of the blue right, as if they took a leap without informing the audience....

Yes, correct it was a follow-up, a closure to their conversation but atleast there was realization. I was expecting to see a self realization/reflection after his conversation with Malini but that just did not happen. I mean those were pretty big things that Malini questioned him but it was as if there was no impact on him... Hence it just felt so off....Is it a sympathy gaining streak for Malini?

They can go tangent anytime with any character and in this case, it was Aditya. It left me questioning that "Did I miss some scene or may be an episode". When did his care for Imlie became so great that it overshadowed Malini's hurt? Last I knew, just a couple of days back, between making sure Imlie takes her medicine vs a romantic scene with Malini, he choose the latter, so what happened today?. Believe me, I enjoyed Adilie's scene to the the "T" and it was full of guilty pleasure and sweetness but timing matters and today the time for that set-up just did not feel right.😊

Anyways, coming to the episode, it was nice to see that Malini does get angry, rightfully so and can take a stand when she feels her happy castle is threatened. I would have preferred it if she would have done it before Aditya's entry but well "Der aaye durusht aaye". But, something about that scene did not sit well with me and made me realize that every time Malini has shown her anger or displeasure, has been when she has felt that she is not at the center of Aditya's world. Like last time with the trophy when he showed it first to someone who was not her and today too, when his outburst was for a third person. It does make me wonder if she has an unhealthy attachment to Aditya because he gives her a feeling of security and love which she must have never got in her house. (Thinking back to all his dialogues to her) Hence, whenever she feels that a world with Aditya is threatened, she lashes out and her offense is always a heavy dose of guilt in the other person, like today or when she fainted or the trophy scene. It might be far-fetched but If this is true, then I wonder how will she will react when she finds out the truth. Methinks she will not let go of Aditya so easily but lets see how they take her character graph.

Well, as I said before, I was expecting a guilt filled, remorseful Aditya but what we got was an Aditya who was more worried about Imlie than the fight with Malini. I guess I missed a couple of stations in this Imlie-Aditya journey 🥱 but well, I again loved the contrast that they showed us. Today, poor Aditya was rebuked by both of his women (what else can you expect when you have two wives😉, 😆), but whereas on one side it was loud, full of accusations, aimed to fill with guilt, on the other hand it was soft, pointed, filled with meaning and aimed to show only the familiarity that one has with the other. On one side, there was only a tearful, sour, unhappy end with no resolution but on the other, there was a smiling, sweet, happy, full of understanding end. Hence, on one side where it only gave rise to a feeling of guilt and a need to apologize , on the other side it gave rise to a realization of increasing trust, care and changing equations between them.😊

I will end it with Imlie's words that though imlie always feel bitter, when we eat it the first time but once you develop the taste, you cannot live without it. Looks like Babusaheb will reach that stage soon or is he already there?😉 I just hope I get to see the whole journey and not one with missing hoops, scenes and stations…😛

Love this - well written :)

@bold: Yeah, my issue was the same....his outburst was really a big one, he said a lot of big things that can't be moved on from so quickly....but thanks to Aparna's phone call and then AC ka sudden sprain😆, I guess we are expected to believe other issues came up to transcend the impact of what all he said....in the short term atleast.

As others here pointed out, there will likely be a follow up about this between him and Malini at some point since Malini is still upset with him. But yeah, overall we do seem to be back in the zone where Malini has been made the mahaan one cuz the issue now again is not her insecurities but the fact that Adi hurt and humiliated her publicly over a presumption of his.

I guess the writers will keep ping-ponging about this😆.....we should brace ourselves either way.....lol

Aditya missing Imlie’s presence so acutely after flirting with his wife the previous night was out of the blue as well. However much we like them, looks as though misplaced scenes are now a part of the show.

Malini is inherently a good person and that is what they have shown since the beginning and for some reason the makers want to retain that thread. Unless they want to make a big show of Aditya apologizing to her considering he thinks she did the whole poem thing.

I actually loved malinis anger scene. And loved the contrasts as well. Her heart will be shattered to pieces when the double whammy truth reveals that imlie is her sister and also the soul mate cum first wife of her husband. Mayuri i am sure will excel in these scenes. She is a very good understated and classy actor like the sumbul and gashmeer. All three make the story a very enjoyable watch.

So true on the bold... They were doing such a good job about showing incompatibility of their relationship and how different they are but now it’s just ended with Aditya being the bad person and Malani though hurt is still trying to be the responsible one. I am not saying that they should make her bad but I just want the focus to be on the relationship rather on any particular person. Like you said we just need to keep our expectation low and brace ourselves for the ping pong that’s going to keep happening.

For some reason, I am thinking that this new person is more for Malini rather than Imlie because look at the situation. Imlie is conveniently absent and Aditya/Malani are at loggerheads.... this new guy might witness it and may be his sympathy will lie with Malani... well we will know more but just a thought😊

i did not find missing Imlie an out of the blue thing... it was with the flow but I did find him have that bike scene with Imlie weird after such a big clash with Malini who he has been claiming to be his center for so long.

I do agree that Malini is a very good person and it’s Ok if makers want to keep that thread. What is not sitting well with me is that in their quest to show her good qualities they are showing Aditya as bad which is not right. He is a good person too. Hence, I would like the focus to be on the relationship that how they are incompatible with each other and how though they are good friends, they are not right partners. There is really no need to show one or the other as bad to bring that out.

I think - makers wanted to keep Imlie at Dev's house for the revelation of painting today and also wanted to fit in a Adilie scene - they had no other choice and went with it.

Also I think Adi is no longer looking to keep his 'fikar' for Imlie toned down. He has gotten comfortable with it. He will go home and apologize to Malini. Adi always had a strong pull towards Imlie - the earlier episodes show it. After the forced marriage his fear that he will be considered unfaithful to Malini and also question in his mind if somehow Imlie manipulated him into marriage - made him lash out. After the PG track his concern has been fully out in the open for everyone to see. Even with the scene where Anu insulted Imlie during the come home party for Imlie - they intentionally kept Adi away from the scene. He only returned in the end - implying if he had been there he would have reacted. Sindoor scene he was in tears and seemed extremely upset with what was happening to Imlie. The guy seems to have moved beyond keeping his 'fikar' for imlie private. Like Anu said - it was public now for everyone to see. The scene with Imli yesterday - was so good - felt simple on the surface but there were many undercurrents. It was charged in a way that it felt almost uncomfortable for me to watch and yet it was such a simple convo. They have some very interesting chemistry between them.

They are revealing everyone’s shortcomings. Basically, not everyone is perfect and that one does not have to be evil for that flaw to come to the forefront. Hoping they do not turn one of the 3 characters into a shady character to make a wrong into right.

Aditya is not clean either right. He tried to come clean but continued hiding a significant truth in his life. Obviously there would be no story without that but just saying that he too has a shortcoming because of that.

By showing his continued concern for Imlie after such a massively public fight where he called his wife by her maiden name, the makers did not do justice to all 3 characters. Imlie was sobbing profusely and had been accused by an outsider of being a third wheel, Malini had questioned her husband’s trust in her and Aditya had just yelled at his wife in front of others. All 3 issues have been left open ended.

I hope they get to refocus but let’s see. This is ITV after all.

@bold: Based on today's epi, I think the incompatibility issue has been brushed aside for now again. Nothing came out of that fight other than Adi repeating the usual, "Aap kitni achhi hain, aap humein puri tarhaan samajhti hain, hum pe ek aur ehsaan kar deejiye humein maaf kar ke" to Malini. He basically feels too guilty and ashamed that he said so much to her in anger and she still didn't let his family know anything is wrong between them.

The trust issue never even came up😆.....it was like it never happened. They are back to their normal zones more or less.
