Trust - Lost and Found

Well, the epi didn't exactly go as I was hoping in terms of continuity.

But leaving all that aside, I suppose the one main takeaway from today is that we saw Adi's trust in Malini eroding in real time.....Malini even pointed out to him that he doesn't seem to trust her at all.

And instead of dwelling on any of that, Adi instead shares a light moment with Imlie, and then reflects by the end that he is learning to trust her.

I suppose there isn't going to be any introspection about the fact that he had such a huge emotional outburst for Imlie....ok, I'll resign myself to that yet again😆....instead, Adi is now on the path to acknowledging that he trusts Imlie....this, right as the trust between him and Moon just about evaporated.

Remains to be seen if this contrast is noted or reflected on in the coming days.

imliya babusaheb ko acchi lagne Lagi hai....he is yet to understand why he stood up for her....inspite of the tension she made him smile yet again today ....nicely she taunted him that he also used to find fault with her before and she felt bad.....now he is trusting her....Aditya Jaise ladke ki foundation hilakar Rakh Diya is ladki ne..

Anu also will not be able to resist her in future......once the truth comes out about her parentage imlie is gng to support both meethi and Anu rather than Dev....then only Anu will start changing.....

You are right about continuity. Imlie was feeling very guilty yesterday and here I was thinking she will make an effort to stay away from Adi. What we got instead was Imli indirectly pointing to their ‘relation’!! Having said that, I loved their interaction.

I guess so Imli won’t be there to greet the great prodigal son ‘Ishan’ who left the house for some unknown reason !! I wonder why Imli has to be away 🤔

It was a light hearted episode. Sab kuch unexpected huaa..Malini apologizing to imlie, Adi bindaas hoke chit chating (not that I am complaining).. aur Imlie tho volunteered to stay back and take care of AC.. hey Sita mayya😆

Let’s see if Ishants entry will make any difference.. not holding my breath though.

I am pleasantly surprised by today's episode. Malini rage and dialogues thru out the episode today is excellent. She blasted both Adi and her mom and put them in their place.

Even though Adi felt bad that he screamed at Malini and apologizing to her, his concern for Imlie is still intact. His 'chup raho, ek sec bhi iss ghar me nahi rahogi' to Imlie when she offered to stay back to take care of Anu and finally realizing that he has to give up when Imlie was putting forth her arguments, was excellently done.

Adilie scene was the cherry on top today. I am glad they are still comfortable talking with each other even after that argument. I was worried they would start avoiding each other because of the guilt. Imlie recognizes his concern and acknowledges it. Adi is not shying away from accepting that nor showing it..

Today's episode is again a contrast between Adi-Moon and Adi-Imlie's episode.. There is a lack to trust in one relationship and there is growing trust in another.

Yes, I was also thrown off by the disconnect between the way Imlie was at the end of yesterday's epi and her being totally relaxed with Adi again.

But putting that aside, it was a nice sweet scene between them. Imlie did as usual blurt out the fact that she takes his words more to heart because she considers him her own.....but then she quickly changed the topic. Similarly, when she pointed out that he's changed a bit now cuz he scolds her out of worry, then he changed the topic rather than acknowledging that he worries about her😆.

He always seems to struggle with admitting he cares.....but it was understood there even if he didn't say it.

I was left wondering though how he found the time to think about his trust on Imlie when Malini had just said such a big thing to him that he doesn't trust her. That lack of continuity made things a bit jarring after such a big outburst from Adi. Oh well.

Re: Imlie not being at Tripathi house to greet the prodigal son....I think it's more to do with the fact that writers wanted to show her getting one on one time with Dev without Malini or Mrs. C hovering around.....and maybe also to set up the scene of Imlie finding out that Dev is her father as per the precap.

Red exactly, I was expecting Adi to be in major guilt mode. But I guess the news of Nishant coming home changed his mood a bit and then his concern and restlessness kicked off again after Imlie decided to stay back and didn't even give him an option. Need to see what Adi and Malini would do and how they interact once they are back alone in their room

@bold: most probably that is the reason for having Imlie stay at Dev’s House. Since Imli has been staying with T’s she would have gotten some qualities/tendencies from them of not making obvious conclusion which is clear as day to all of us 😄😄 So even after seeing Meethi’s picture she will not realize that Dev is her dad!!

I don’t think they will reveal it so early, but I could be wrong.

Awesome review my friend. I was so blown away by the scenes today that i frankly did not realize how disconnected it was from yesterdays epsiode in terms of the major guilt trip we were expecting that adilie would be on to make amends.

I expected suspicion creeping in on thr malini end. Instead she was furious at both her husband and mom. Expected adilie to feel guilty instead wo dono apni pyaar aur fikar ki Duniya mein mast the. All the scenes were excellent , but yes in terms of continuity from the last episode they were lacking.

Par adilie scene was crackling 😳.

and this Exactly has been My Major Eyebrow Raise moment.. Malini ne itna saaf bol dia ke adi usse trust hi nahi karta and here adi is like i am trusting Imlie... i am confused too But Mera Interpretation yeh hai iska or well i am trying to go with it Ke it is exactly what Imlie was pointing out ke bura ussi ki baat ka lagta hai jo apna ho.. jisse dil ka connect ho ... No matter however much adi goes around making claims about his great Love for Malini it really didn't shatter him or made a difference when she said such a huge thing to him about their relationship about what place she holds for him whereas his dil has started trusting Imlie More and More and he's being Honest about it when he should've been wondering ke kya wakai malini ne jo kaha woh sach hai.. but i guess it will come down to a side by side comparison whenever the writer would like to address it ke how come Trust=0 on malini and with imlie it is only growing and growing..

For now i guess they wanted to point yehi out ke jo dikhawa hota hai dils e nahi judta hai wahan Koi kuch bhi keh de kitna hi bada tamasha ho jaaye one can snap out of it just like that caz dusri taraf jo hai woh matter karta hai and bohat andar apni roots set kar di hain usne

dusra reh gaya iMlie ka durr karna khud ko toh i think along with the reveal her staying back also comes from this only ke let AM sort it out and woh beech main na aaye toh thode din idhar tik jaaye
