Great analysis, I love it.

Although, I kinda felt bad for Malini today. The moti roti and Imlie got all the attention and her cake was eaten by other people.

I feel Aditiya could have been a little more sensitive about her cake instead of dismissing it and focusing only on the moti roti.

Btw, I am mystified by the moti roti. It looks kind of dry and bland. But it gets Aditiya excited and that's what counts in this story. 😃

I did feel bad for Malini that her cake unwittingly didn't make it to the dinner but I don't think it's Adi's fault either.

For once, Adi was honestly sharing every thought in his mind with Malini without guilt....it was his honest opinion that the moti roti is good and will be liked by his boss.....he's never shied even before from telling Malini he loves that roti😆.....and he never dismissed her cake either....he was simply looking at the larger picture that the dinner still happen nicely......which it did.

It is Malini who kept feeling a pang at any mention of the roti....and this is all about insecurity now.....just cuz your husband praises one item cooked by someone else doesn't reduce your importance as a wife....but that is how Malini keeps feeling it....that is why she fixates on these small things.....I've always gotten the sense that she takes pride in cooking also cuz she subscribes to the notion that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach😆.....she was so excited to always keep cooking for Adi before their marriage also.

The irony is that for all of Malini's cooking talents, it is a simple roti by Imlie that has won Adi's heart so easily.....and that's the whole point. That it's not a shiny appearance that matters....taste is subjective....and for Adi, it's not the appearance of the roti, but how it tastes that he loves so much.

At the end of the day, Imlie's selflessness is so immense that she was even willing to give up her food for Adi, while Malini spent all day fixating on the fact that a roti got more importance than her cake.....and that is why Imlie's goodness keeps prevailing.

Imlie as always the selfless soul gives up her dinner for him....but the moment Adi realizes she gave him her food, it all flips. The way his concern keeps building up along with the rising tenor of his daant as he keeps insisting she eat, even when she keeps defying him😆

Babusahib, these days it is becoming more obvious than you would like that your daant be construed as how much you can't stand her but the opposite is becoming apparent.....the more his tone rises, the more it becomes obvious that it all comes from this immense fikar he has for her that he doesn't know how else to get through to her other than scolding her.....lol

And the stubborn little creature that she is, she stands firm even in the face of his intimidation by daant trying to scold her into listening to him😆......

Kuch kuch nahi Bohat Kuch Ho raha hai Babusahib ke andar that he just refuses to Acknowldge just yet.. DOes he seriously think ke all the Pentare he was using to make her eact the roti and ending it with hsi sakht HUm keh rahe hain as the finality ke bas This is the last word all this comes from concern on a human Level.. Oh Boy bohat Bhole hai Babuji..🤣😆 There was so much Haq in the way he was asserting himself that she eats it Ek dum jaise koi apne bohat apne pe jitata hai Heck he has never asserted himself liek this ever in front of Malini or any Matter concerning her.. it always end with then whatever you want jo aapko theek lage but with imlie there is so much more Opinion and Even force but pyar wali here... the moment he heard ke yeh bhooki hi so jaaayegi bewakoof ladki he gave up on his Hissa and immediatley went nope and even argued ke Biscuit khane se kya hota hai caz he caught her obvious lie.. bas yeh bhool gaya ke yeh bhi utni hi ziddi hai if he can use this haq over her She could too .. Let's see ab roti kiske hisse main aati hai.. LOl Waise it looked like the frozen parantha when malini lifted it hahhahha though whne she makes it it looks like actual roti in previous episodes.. hahah babusahib bhi jhalle hain dahi bhi nahi dia imli ko ko fridge se nikala tha and wnated her to have it sookhi hi hahahah

oh and i had to laugh at his na cake mila na roti that was such a lul moment caz true..🤣

Nope, she will do what she wants....and she refuses to eat when she can see that you wanted to eat that roti😆

ah.. what a lovely episode again with some lovely nok jhok between Adilie and Mun's antennae rising up. She has more of her mother in her than she realizes, though she does act more like her baba, her own insecurities win the day just as it does for Mrs C.

Imlie knows she can get out of the mixup by doing OTT drama and she does not fail to entertain. Now Adi seems resigned to her dramas and just watches on..... without uttering a word in that way silent way of his.. I just loved his expressions...

I was flipping between the super bowl n the show.. lol I have to rewatch the episode. I have been bingeing on some of the older episodes especially the PD ones of Jan and loved them all over again. He introduced his wife(s) to his boss and they seemed to be taken with Imli as he mentioned that he will be telling the story of meeting Imlie for years to come. Liked how he mentioned the canceled HM and it was brushed right under the RUG... LOL...

Hmm.. Adi did not get enough of the moti rotis and that is an issue for Mun... the kitchen scene was such a typical husband wife, each jatoing their hak over the other, nibhaoing their zimmedaari LOL.... wonder if Mun is going to split the moti roti into 2.. btw what was she doing in the kitchen, spying on her hubby... ouch...

Imli handled the situation at their exit cleverly and none the cleverer, she was the only one to notice Mun's discomfort over the cake fiasco. I hope she wont visit the C's with Mun, let us see what babu has to say.

Boss Babu is mighty impress unka bas chalta toh Imlie ko apne ghar le jaate for moti roti's daily... and Aditya ka Satisfaction on pleasing his Boss ws on next Level... he took Pride in the moti roti liek a real Husband does.. goof doesn't even relaize it that he started taking pride in things imlie does.. and their banter on here was sooo In the moment and lovely.. the comfort level shined.. one could visually see the discomfort and awkwardness malini had there and her not actually replying to mrs Boss as confidentlya s she should have caz her mind was lurking somewhere else while imli so switfly made it so easy and handled the situation so very well and saved him from any embarassment..

WORD....matlab jab do log ek crowd mein bhi apna connection/comfort level display kar lein, then the technicalities just fade away, nahin? 😆.....I was really pleasantly surprised they gave us that moment in the middle of the goodbyes...mujhe lagaa kuch generic sa bye bolke nipta denge but who knew aajkal they are ramping up these one on one look exchanges b/w Babusahib and his Jhalli😆.....aur looks bhi aise ki aas paas kisi ko samajh bhi nahin aata and in dono ka apne level pe communication ho jaata hai miyaan-biwi wala😆

Adi's love for Moti Roti is next level🤣.....it seriously cracks me up HOW much he loves the roti.....since the time that roti has made an appearance in the story, he never leaves a chance to gush about it woh jab bhi banti hai ghar mein😆.....and irony yehi hai ki only we as the audience realize what that is signifying.....isko taste chadh gaya hai Imlie ka par yeh maanega nahin😆

Malini got some token advice from loser papa Dev today but I kept thinking the whole time ki yeh advice dene laayak hai bhi kya?😆.....Khud toh kuch karta nahin.......but that scene was good in showing that Malini really is delusional in thinking that her and Adi having no arguments in 7 years was a normal thing and only now he's "changed".....lol

Abhi clearly establish ho chuka hai ki babusaheb ko yakeenan apni jhalli ki quirks ki aadat pad jaayenge. Now that adi and malini are actually living together and communicating more they will eventually realize that they had nothing in common to begin with.

Word again....the contrast is just so apparent. Malini ke case mein he usually rolls over koi bhi baat ho ki jo bhi aapko theek lage and this is why Malini thinks they haven't disagreed in 7 years😆.

Imlie ke case mein he tries to play the "Main tumse badaa hoon" card and isliye bhi tries to scold her like that to make her listen to him😆....but I think that card is weakening more aajkal.....Imlie still gets upset when he scolds her but now she's started pushing back in a biwi-like manner😆....taana maar deti hai uski daant ke baar mein, poems likh deti hai😆.....and at the end of the day, she's started standing firm in her own way about what she wants to do regardless of his scolding.

Btw HOW cute was Imlie in this scene trying to deflect when he tried to insist she eat....the small si voice in which she was like, "Hum biskoot khaa lenge"😆.....and then when his daant kept increasing in volume ekdum shocked that she is insisting on doing all this even after his scolding😆.....toh then Imlie digs in softly but firmly, "Hum nahin khaayenge".....lol.....and that little bit where he was like, "Hum keh rahe hain chup chaap khaa lo" and she retorts with almost the same tone, but then softens it last minute to say, "hum bhi keh rahe hain aap....chup chaap khaa lijiye"😆

But sach mein paagal ladki hai....she was actually going to have that dawaai khaali pet only if Adi hadn't caught her.....no wonder he was scolding her in fikar again.....yeh ladki khud ka khayaal toh rakhti nahin....toh Babusahib fikar toh karenge😆

Malini aake roti ko kar degi split I guess....lol and Adi-Imlie ko guilt trip karta dikhaa denge phir se....mehhh....lol anyways aaj ka scene achha tha even if Didi interrupted in the end😆

Just caught this gem uttered by Imlie - pls do not remove Adi from his job, what else can he do beside holding a pen... she referred to this just before the kite flying competition in PD during makar sankranthi.. he will just 'daant' her all day long and basically chew her head is what she meant.. the way Adi dragged her up from the floor when she was prostrating to the big boss.. i was ROFL... Adi looking super exasperated but not angry with Imlie.. That is a good sign, his tolerance for her antics is building up and maybe he was looking forward to digging into the moti roties..

Loved he grabbed them all from the kitchen... while poor Mun was bemoaning the loss of her cake on the 2 jogis, who did demolish it no time.. ROFL..

I've loved the moti roti angle ever since they showed that scene of Imlie making it for Adi-Malini ki dinner date and Adi realizing for the first time that the roti he so loved was made by Imlie😆.

Adi's boss, as expected, was totally charmed by Imlie as well as her moti roti😆....this despite Imlie thinking him to be a life insurance salesman when he first showed up and shooing him off😆......Adi's boss had wanted to meet his wife since a long time....ironically he did meet Adi's first wife first and liked her food too😆. Honestly ab toh babusahib needs to do is Get a meeting done bwtween IMli and boss babu and iska Bonus pakka everyyear.. hahah jokes apart it was nice to see the bosses being so warm towards Imli and giving her respect and treating her in such a positive manner even after her big goof up and not making it an ego ka masla.. she was adorable in her maaafi and the standout line for me was her so casually mentioning babusahib ki daant to his boss too ke sirf 2 roti khane ki aadat hai usse zyada daant khane ka honsla nahi usme🤣😆 again biwi ne boss ko bhi shikayat laga di aise baaton baaton main and noone actually caught it how much his daant effects her and that it is imlie who keeps mentioning his daant and ab in such an endearing manner than malini.. isko jaise daant se bhi pyar sa ho gaya hai apna haq samjh ke wohi rakh leti hai 😆 she has developed an attachment with the daant in the sense that she considers it sirf uska that has become a mode of communication and something only these 2 share in such a intimidate If i may so manner. it has become such a personal thing between them

There were many subtle moments strewn throughout the epi that stood out:

1) Every little mention of the moti roti played on Malini's insecurity😆.....first she heard Adi casually say that his boss can have the roti if the cake isn't there anymore and Malini tries to tell him that there is no comparison between cake and a roti, so Adi says, "Taste badalne mein kahaan koi time lagta hai"😆......dun dun dun Malini's antennas go up - correlating any preference for moti roti as a sign of Adi's taste shifting away from her😆it was such a choti si baat but it triggered malini in such a big way becuase that is how she has grown up.. any sign of ittu sa bhi chip in somethign she has done or is related to her she starts losing it as if it was not a natural occurence that happened and adi bhi just said ke cake nahi toh roti se khati kar dete hain no Big Deal but that alerted her so much. thoda i understand ke she did put effort in making the cake and adi ne esp farmaish ki thi toh thoda upset hona is fine ke i couldn't do it even though it wasn't her fault whatsoever but her heightened sensitivity towards the cake and insecurity in regards to roti was really a highlight and she was thinking wayyyy too much then there was. interesting was later her saying ke cake waste ho gaya .. Huh? that made me raise my eyebrow ke otherwise itna sensitivity rakhne wali malini is saying that when actually it was eaten by people whow ere hungry and not like it has gone in garbage that is wastage.. also how iska papa ke samjhane ke baad bhi kuch zyada asar hua nahi.. she was still struck on the cake even thoguh she got a generic advice ke khud ek dusre ka saath dena na chodna.. ek toh as you said in the other post uncle saying it was hilarious caz khud kaunsa saath nibhal lia and dusra waise bade bade waaade karne wali Malini bas ek cake and harmless si roti statements ke liye sab waade bhol ke almost bhagne ke liye tyar thi.. how insecure that has made her as a person when if there is somethign for real itna kuch effect na hota ke kaunsi badi hai.. contrast it to imlie usko toh apne dinner ke liye daant padh rahi hai ke tum khao and she is badle main dhons jamooing ke tum khao while yahan isntead of malini being koi na phir bana doongi woh joh ek naseeb main nahi tha ussi pe fixate ho gayi.. aisa bhi toh ho sakta hai na ke next time bana do ya bana ko office bhej do if she was feeling so guilty about them not being able to have her cake.. as in there are logical solutions but she isn't even thinkingof the solution and only focusing on jo ho gaya..

3) Later in the room with Malini, Adi yet again brings up the moti roti as something he didn't get enough of at dinner and still wants to have some😆....Malini's face again falls....lol man, she's taking every mention of that roti super personally😆.....even though they showed her shaking her head at herself in the end wondering why she's behaving like a typical wife hung up on small things, I don't know if Malini can really get over this in the long run.she may negate it now caz she does feel ke she is over reacting but that will be temporary only caz adi imlie ka bond is growing and comfort is growing and with that idk for how long can malini keep negating things esp if adi saying a harmless thing like taste badal sakta hai easily can rub her off so much. her problem is she lives in a sheeshe ka box... and is wayy too fragile esp mentally.. the tunnel vision doesn't let her react normally this is how her mother had made her itna insecure and to pretend ke sab theek hai she goes sooo overboard that when sab kuch theek hai bhi koi badi baat nahi hui usme bhi she is sub consciously over anlying and making a problem when none exists in case of roti here only.. Overthinking .. which also is funny ke jahan overthinking karna chahiye wahan she thought of the surface issue ke car nahi bhejeinge after adi explicitly telling ehr the root cause and jahan itna zor nahi dena wohi kar rahi hai lol.. galat jagga dimaag lagati hai

4) Adi-Imlie scene in the end of the epi....nice little bonus😆.....Imlie about to have the last roti left as dinner before taking her meds but when Adi shows up asking if there's any roti left, she gives him her own....lol.....and he's about to have it when he realizes she gave him her food, then tries to make her eat it instead.....ADORABLE back and forth b/w them there where he keeps telling her, "Main keh raha hoon na ki tum yeh khaa lo" and she goes, "Aur main bhi keh rahi hoon ki you eat it"😆. so so so Much love for it and i am rewatching it caz it was my fav
