Please don't post in my threads in the future and please stop spamming here with the same repeated rants daily. Thanks.

I was trying to compliment you......

Fine I won't post, but this wasn't polite. And I don't spam ok.

So to me, it personally really doesn't matter how many token "couple" scenes are shown of them together. The writers in general anyways show that anytime they are together, they end up being distracted by something related to Imlie or they end up talking about Imlie.....so I really don't get the daily hue and cry about upcoming AM scenes *shrugs*......they are still married....obviously they will have scenes together. Duhh.

There will continue to be scenes with both pairs to compare and contrast the two relationships. AM aren't growing apart cuz of Imlie and Adi isn't going to fall for Imlie as a "comparison" to Malini....these things are happening independent of each other. Until Adi consciously realizes the truth about his empty relationship with Malini, he is going to continue to believe in it obviously. Such truths can't be realized overnight.....especially when they've spent 7 years hyping up this emptiness.

Lol this fixation on kitna screen time goes to who is the root cause of when things go bad... how about watch the show for the story and characters and rant if things actually go south instead of presuming and saara din spreading negativity everywhere but no that is too mature

Malini is the parallel lead she will get her scenes and yes the relationship main contrast will be shown

Also all the public who claim.to have seen then original must know that adi imlie are the original supposed "endgame " too atleast that is what it says on Wikipedia so if they really have so much belief in the regional versions than too even if they are copying it is going adi imlie way only.. the show.is.titled imlie for heaven's sake use some common sense but nope

Anyways I have better things to.do.on a Sunday then do magaz maari here.. and wailing over nothing... we will see when things will actually happen and then react.. better then saara din rona dhona

Again, I'm LEAST interested in hearing what happened in which regional version. And I'm also LEAST interested in lame freakouts over every Adi-Malini scene.

Adi ko toh milta nahin, kaash humein thoda SUKOON mil sakta to discuss the actual show rather than reading the same rants about comparisons to the regional versions all day😆.

Thank you for mentioning this. I’m sick of the comparisons as well. It’s quite obvious they are making their own version and may have been inspired by previous ones for the premise of the show, but what has followed since then is original. These characters are original.

Also, maybe I’m a bit of a sadist but I don’t mind the Adi-Malini scenes, they’re needed for the story to progress. This is a slow burn romance and while we may know where it is headed, the journey and conflicts are important. The story would be nothing without them.

Aditya needs to face head on his crumbling relationship with Malini, needs to realize that it is far from perfect as he’s always thought of it. And then to realize he’s falling in love with Imlie—wow will that be some reckoning.

Malini too for her part needs to stop being a caricature of the perfect wife/daughter/daughter in law. From the trauma of her childhood and her parents constant fights she’s become this cookie-cutter model of perfection, but she isn’t. As the last episode proved, there are human shades in her, some shades that resemble her mother even. Which I don’t think is bad. Her mother is OTT, but she’s been badly traumatized as well. It’s just that while Malini went to the extreme side of perfection and goodness, her mother drifted to the opposite side of the spectrum. Throw in some TRP need for drama, and her mother’s characterization makes sense.

As for AdiLie, I’m loving the slow burn, the nuanced conversations and smiles. What a change from typical ITV. Hope the writers can keep this up.

I just finished binge watching the episodes after sindoor trp gimmickry, and it’s great to see this show rebound. Fingers crossed it remains that way. Have to say, your posts have been so refreshing to read. Love the positivity and honest analysis after every episode!

You're very welcome. I'm glad there are others here who are also sick of the repetitive comparison posts spamming around in this forum.....it really affects the quality of discussion, and that's a pity cuz this is a rare well put together story on ITV right now which deserves better discussion than random spamming all day.

I don't mind the Adi-Malini scenes either cuz as you said, they are also needed as a part of the story's progression. Only time I got tired of things was during the drag last week when the characters were shown groveling before Malini a little too much....but the later epis picked up with better balance and we were able to enjoy all the various character equations.

Adi-Imlie-Malini are all bound together with various complicated connections beyond just the fact that both Malini and Imlie are married to Adi....so their journey will continue with these cross connections.....what makes it interesting is the layering in the scenes and everyone being shown with human shades.....it only gets tiresome when they show some OTT antics on Imlie or show Malini as too blindly sugary/mahaan. When they balance the epis b/w the AM and AI equations, then it's a good watch.

What we are watching right now is the graph of two relationships....the AM one and the AI one....and I'm intrigued to watch the graph of both even though I'm obviously rooting for the slow burn evolution of Adi-Imlie in the long run.

Thank you for the kind words :) I'm glad you enjoyed the analysis and I hope you are able to participate in the discussions more often....enjoyed reading your take :)

The nonstop spamming, hairpulling, comparisons, and stifling negativity definitely make me reluctant to stop by here, let alone post anything. That’s why I’ve loved reading your posts so much!

The entanglement of these characters is so wonderfully done and it diminishes everything to reduce it to Adini v. AdiLie🥱 It’s sooo much more than that. There shouldn’t be a comparison between them. They’re on very separate tracks at the moment and hopefully it stays that way. I’m waiting to see how things get slowly untangled between them—some of these threads will snap and I’m all for that with popcorn ready 😆

I’ll try to participate more, but I’ve begun watching all the prior week‘s episodes on Sunday so I’m usually very late for the discussions. This show has a strange pattern—a few episodes seem like they are heading into typical Bahu drama but then they seem to reset things and go back to what made this show so popular in the first place. It’s easier for me to see the graphs of these relationships, as you put it, a week at a time.

+ 1 to the bold

This very treatment is what sets this story stand apart from otherwise typical 2 girls fighting over a guy .. on top of it.. all the 3 main characters have their individuality and actual conflicts and their own struggles with their own demons.. the fact that this is not just a catfight but comes with actual layering and maturity and shows human conflicts in such a understated ways is what is setting this apart.. add that it is not just on token level that the characters say things to preach.. nooo the fact that they are aware of their shortcomings to an extent makes it all the more compelling watch..

The very reason why one can understand malini and seee her is caz the woman isn't made a caricature this is why she is not the typical 3rd angle but one can view her as a human and feel for her too at various points..

It is the execution of a very typical story on paper that is making it noteworthy and so different then the rest.. sure there are ups and downs but more ups then downs and again the road isn't smooth all the time it just can't be... caz that is not life in reality either..

Agreed, the typical love triangle tropes don’t come into play here. There’s a good deal of realism so far that most ITV does not have. And the realism stems from the conflicts, the shades of grey and the realization that none of these characters are inherently evil. It would be so easy if it were the case, but this story isn’t about the easy route. Imlie’s story right from birth has been one of hardship, and yet she’s this fun, bubbly girl but underneath all that, there’s also a broken girl that’s beginning to fall in love with her husband despite everything—which is so human and realistic. She can’t throw away her sindoor given her background and strong beliefs and yet she can’t be his wife... the conflicts and divided loyalties are on so many levels and the lack of an easy, straightforward path makes it worth watching.

That is the best bit about it.. no one is entirely wrong from their stand points and no one is 100% right either... that very thing makes them so relatable and real.. caz well no one is perfect in the world.. the good thing is they stand firm of what they inherently believe in and are clear in their thought processes.. the evolution will happen gradually and organically
