In just 2 days, that all became rendered pointless....they barely showed 2-3 token scenes of Adi showing bare minimum concern for her and then totally transitioned to showing Imlie as moronic as possible. Everything they are showing with her this week is so obviously moronic and half-baked, even TRP audience will be confused about what to sympathize with.

Also, can sympathy only be generated by showing Imlie like a moron that Adi shouts at? Instead of showing a clash of two point of views, they are only ramping up scenes of Imlie being shown as an obvious idiot to then justify Adi scolding her and making her such an obvious irritant all around......I'm really not sure what the larger picture with that is.

Push/pull toh tab hoga if there was any conflict within Adi post Imlie's return from the hospital....but there is literally zero sense of that. So many people here presumed he's already subconsciously in love with Imlie.....but where is the evidence of that? I don't see any.....love toh chhodo, he's not even on the bare minimum path of feeling some guilt for the state Imlie is in - being treated like a servant in his family and life. If you have any care/concern for a person, you do not allow them to demean themselves like this......Adi simply is too self-absorbed to bother with any of that for Imlie....so what love?

I never thought Adi was in love with her, yes there was a feeling of responsibility towards her, care had creeped in but he is also a very selfish, practical person. Plus he is very protective about his relationship with Malini. (God knows why). May its because of the fear of almost losing it. So any time he feels that its going to be affected or harmed, he loses it on Imlie. Hence, unless he is totally and completely in love with her, I do not think he is going to intervene or do anything that will affect his relationship with Malini or end up with her questioning him.. I think guilt hain but it very small compared to the guilt he feels about hiding things from Malini.

(but I still have slight hope that he might stop Anu and not be a silent observer and the past two weeks are not wasted but its a very tini mini hope 😂)

And that again makes me think, even if a new guy shows up in Imlie's life, there is nothing in the story right now to show it would make any difference to Adi.....he just isn't in that zone with Imlie....the staggering levels of self-absorption in this guy are something else.....if Imlie's near death couldn't trigger any sense of actual responsibility in him, nothing can.

He made tall claims of living up to his responsibility towards Imlie when she was dying in the ambulance....but the moment she woke up, all of that went poof.

As I said Malini is above Imlie at this moment. He does feels responsible but between Imlie and Malini, his first and last thought is to make sure Malini does not get hurt. (is it because of the panic attack?). Thus he has no qualms about tearing Imlie down but even though Anu tamesha pe tamesha kar rahi, he does not say a word about it to Malini, He just keeps her in a glass castle. Glass do break, we just have to be patient.

So I really don't think the writers are showing any inclination of taking this in any concrete direction....they seem to have settled for one episode of a friendly convo b/w Adi-Imlie and then 3 epis later, back to Adi scolding/demeaning Imlie.....this stays on rinse/repeat mode with no movement....even after a high point like the gunshot track.

I know right, kitne hope the mujhe ki story is moving ahead, we will see some progress but they took two steps forward and 10 steps backward, like literally going in circle. There were so many ways to do this part, why did they have to use the vrat ways as the backdrop but well its Gul/4lion show, she thrives on Pooja and festival...

Don't worry, ye bhi hoga , bas truth out tak he Adini ke characters hai. Uske baad Ishlie he hoga. But tab tak dono ka jaap khelo. Seriously, kab Ishant ayega yaar. Ek saal baad shayad. Lagta hai tab tak Adini love story jhelni he padegi, wo bhi jhil jaati agar Imlie ka character phir se strong kar dete.

Story is Imlie ka adi ki patni se bhabhi banne tak ka safar. 🤣🤣🤣 Adi apni future bhabhi ko laya pagdandiya se for you know mere brother ki dulhan.🤣

Sirf 2 scenes muzhe dekhne the ek Imlie slapping Aditya and second imlie throwing away a her suhag ki nishani as breaking free from a the non existing bonds. Uske baad Ishant aye, sundar aye , koi aur aaye ya Imlie single rahe we just want her becoming a big police officer.

I think for Ishant to come adi will have to leave. I strongly suspect his character will remain only till truth is known to Malini. After that the show will take turn to Ishlie. Isliye abhi Ishant ki casting nahi ho rahe hai. Because for a lead a big actor will be cast.

My issue isn't just that he doesn't speak up for Imlie in front of Mrs. C....even in general, he allows for Imlie to be treated like a servant and allows her to constantly demean herself. Nowhere does it say that if he does the bare minimum in saying to Imlie ki no, you need to not keep considering yourself a servant, toh utne mein Malini will get "hurt". Why is it constantly being made an either Malini or Imlie choice? Giving Imlie basic human respect and not treating her like wallpaper in that house has nothing to do with Malini....these comparisons are being forced in.

But that is what the makers insist on showing.....again and again, almost every scene is about Adi being completely absorbed in himself or his life with Malini with just a passing thought spared for Imlie. You don't need to be in love with someone to give them that much regard.....especially someone who basically almost died for you. Agar uske baad bhi humanity na jaage, then you really lose any bare minimum respect for that person.

The fact that the writers are undoing all the progress of the gunshot epis is a real pity. Adi has misbehaved with Imlie before that also but I could still understand his convoluted helplessness to some extent then and chalk it up to a difference in viewpoint.....for him to do all this now after the gunshot incident really brings his character down further.

Uptil a point, Adi-Imlie shared a special connection regardless of the forced marriage that had tied them together.....but off late, the writers have completely dropped the ball in terms of continuity after the gunshot saga. Adi-Imlie don't need scenes with each other to prove a connection....that could have been proven through showing some kind of scenes of Adi thinking about what happened in PD, the gunshot scenes.....but he's literally had ZERO thoughts about that since.....that is a huge dropping of the ball after a high point.....if you don't even show any internal character reflection, there is nothing to build a connection over.

Instead, the writers seem more interested in proving that Imlie is a buffoon, that she is a pain, and that Adi is right to resent her presence in his life. Bhai yehi sab karna tha toh why bother with the PD track to begin with? It's all bizarre now.

It's Adini's love story with Imlie being there to just being miserable. Pata nahi kaun sa nasha Karta hai (writer). Show ka naam Imlie hai, to uski story ko age badhao. Kya mera pati mera pati khel rahe hai wo. Stupid

I just want Imlie to get her spunk back and walk/stay away from Aditya for now and do something with her life. Then eventually want Aditya to realize her worth and go after her. One can only hope. 😊

And, if it is just Imlie's journey, I am fine with that too. Depends on how they show the story to progress.
