@guilty nice analysis...adi really need to start seeing thing clearly ....

As I always say malini was drag into this mess for no reason or fault it was adi who did all this and spoilt 3 lives ..

Really worried when adi will start loving imlie and double crossing malini how imlie and malini will handle this ..especially malini

Imlie being imlie will always stick to her grounds without hurting malini ..but still she will be seen the root cause of the problem which will arise in life of adi and malini ๐Ÿ˜ญ

But when she get upset she told him that she want him to share his happiness and success with her since it is not his only she had to go through with him last couple of years! And how she was so understanding all the time for the importance of his work!

LOL yes, Malini was acting humble in front of the Tripathis when they tried to credit her for Adi's success but when she actually didn't get to be the first one to hold his award, then she got upset and suddenly then she needed him to acknowledge that she had a share in this achievement of his๐Ÿ˜†.

Malini's case is obviously of a pampered child.....she may be a very nice and sweet person otherwise....but the moment she feels she isn't getting what she is entitled to, she demands attention just like a child....and instead of understanding what happened there, Adi lives in permanent guilt so he bends over backwards to appease any tantrum of hers.

I thought she didn't want the credit to be shared in front of the world, all she wanted maybe sirf aur sirf Adi's acceptance. Whatever I liked that Adun scene today, atleast there is one scene where Malini is not shown as ultra mahaan devi. Not every marriage is not perfect na? Aisa kuch kuch choti bate bhi tho hote rehte hai. Adi trying to calm her was also didn't appear me as wrong. Ye sab tho siblings, besties aur couples karte hai. That was sweet. Imlie se makers ko maafi magvana nahi chahiye thi. Instead of ye kharelu kaam, vrat wala drama college drama kab aayega pata nahi.

My point was about the level to which Adi is groveling....he is nowhere close to understanding the issues with Malini even when she threw such an obvious childish tantrum today.....instead he is only bending over backwards more for her.....that is not going to help any realization long or short term.

@bold: Again, where is the irritation creeping in? Nowhere๐Ÿ˜†.....Malini's tantrums are being justified both to Adi as well as to the viewers as if all if it is still part of her sweet personality and she is entitled to everything.....no one is seeing or pointing out the obvious issues with what she was doing. The scene today didn't even make it sound like she's insecure.....it was shown to Adi as well as to the viewers as a wife being entitled to wanting to be the first to share his award.

I don't think there was anything in the scene yesterday to draw sympathy away from Malini.....in fact, the writers and the characters were laying on the guilt even thicker๐Ÿ˜†. And why does sympathy even need to be drawn away from Malini for Adi-Imlie to work? I personally don't need that as a viewer....I don't need Malini to be irritating in order to prefer Adi-Imlie.....it would work just fine for me if they were able to establish the long term incompatibility in Adi-Malini's relationship without showing everyone groveling in front of her.

Adi-Imlie don't need to be shown bending backwards to this extent in front of Malini....I personally find it a turn off. Nobody is trying to take her haq away from her but that doesn't mean people need to act like her slaves either.

Ahhh, I am not saying that you are saying it, I am just saying in general, they cannot keep showing her as a "sweetness ki dukhan" else Aditya feelings for Imlie will not be justified. Who would consider a person a hero, if he forgets his seven year love partner in a month for no reason at all. Also, they cannot show Adi change in a day, it has to be a step by step process. The irritation will also come almost similar to when he switched off her phone in PD.

Also, may be you as a viewer do not need to see the guilt, groveling, the slow change but I do. If he would not have run behind her, I would have been irritated/angry especially as he has done her a wrong by keeping such a big secret from her and today Malini had specifically told him to show it to her. I like the part that Imlie has become important that he just forgot about Malini's words (showing he is moving toward her) but I also liked that as soon as he realized that he has done a mistake toward Malini, he went to her to explain. That the sign of his righteous character and also a good husband ๐Ÿ˜›

Will I enjoy a repeat telecast of the same thing? No i will not. Basically what I am saying is that today was the first step in establishing the long term incompatibility. May be Malini was idolized, but they cannot make her grey in a day too.. It needs to be done step by step especially as they showed her as a diabetes inducing sweet women till date.

LOL my issue really wasn't with Adi apologizing to Malini for not giving her the award first....that's fine and ofcourse totally understandable too since he knew it mattered to her. My issue was with everything that followed.....apologizing is fine, but they made Adi grovel and once again talk to her as if he owes her everything....that is the weird part to me in all their conversations....how he talks to Malini like his life is obligated to her rather than talking to her like a wife and partner.....that level of groveling and delusional behavior gets excessive for me.

Then came Imlie literally being made a MURGA to apologize to Malin "Didi"....that wasn't cute to me either and another sign of makers going overboard in the way Imlie and Adi are shown apologizing to Malini.....apologizing is not a problem, but groveling is.....the degree matters.

I'm quite certain there will be a repeat telecast of all this with more frequency now....Adi is nowhere close to even the beginnings of a realization on Malini's personality issues....the makers are putting these scenes in to pad the drama but not really showing any progression. The diabetes inducing Malini will also continue, this tantrum throwing Malini will also continue and so will Adi-Imlie's groveling in front of her....status quo maintained for all parties with nothing changing๐Ÿ˜†

Adi only switched off Malini's phone in PD when Imlie was literally DYING๐Ÿ˜†....so will Imlie literally need to DIE on a daily basis for Adi to value her and look past Malini's attention seeking demands? ๐Ÿ˜†

Yes, their relationship is not at all healthy.. No wonder Aditya was always running away for work.๐Ÿ˜›

@bold: The first is needed for the second to happen.

@bold2: I hope not. Already Imlie has gone to the hospital twice. If she goes again, he will be like, Malini hi achi hain, she needs attention but hospital ke bills to nahi bharne padte. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I think it is not at all random or coincidental that both ladies of his life gave him coins on this special day . Come on, how could it be coincidence?? The scene was put there to make us viewers as well Aditya to ponder on it, us to think what the makers are up to and for Aditya, to once again marvel the complex web of fate being woven with the three of them, as he holds them both in each palm ( also to hammer the point that it is put there for a reason).

I think these two coins signify the difference in the values , of the two ladies in his life. The silver coin has obvious value , you see it in it's shining glory and you don't need further explanation . Just like you see Malini standing beside Aditya, his wife ,Mrs Aditya Kumar Tripathi , in front of the entire world, his family that one special person in Aditya's life, love of his life, standing tall , regal and beautiful.

But the one rupee coin has no value at first glance, it has no worldly value as such , looks worn out . But once you know the backstory behind it , the rich history ,it becomes incredibly special as a gift , it's value given by its meaning. Imlie is that coin in Aditya's life. At one glance for an outsider, she has no place in his life , no value , no name , but it's their shared history , shared fate that gives her place in his life, makes her important for him. It's deeply secret , but not a dirty one, but a special almost sacred one.

Aditya while recieving the award openly and boldly took Malini's name in his speech , giving her the 1st and maximum credit , symbolic that Malini comes first in his destiny and she's acknowledged and cherished. But Imlie who has maximum contributions towards this award ,he can't even openly take her name, not as his significant other , not as a family , not as a friend , not even an acquaintance. She's unnamed but no more acknowledged. He knows he can't validate her presence in his life in front of the world but he can't and won't deny the truth of her importance in his life even if as a destiny chosen person .

So he does the only thing he's allowed to do for her or give her - he remembers her. He became emotional while thinking of her , how she must remain unacknowledged always but in his thoughts and emotions. His family members giving Malini credit of how auspicious she is for Aditya , completely unaware of the actual one standing in front of them who deserved most credit for today and she got none and they'll never know her importance in his success.

It shows us how both are his .But one is to proudly flaunt in front of the world and another to cherish in private like a fond deeply intimate memory.

I didn't find any thing bad of the way both apologize,

Taking the truth aside that (Adili shared a secret relation) and subtracting that guilt from the equation!

It is just a normal behavior to do with a love one, they both hurt Milani without intention, and I can relate to her anger as being a wife , I would do that any second this issue could appear! And I bet My husband will react the same ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ˜‚

So adding the guilt on the top this will make him want to badly assure her that she will always be a priority to him and always to try to be a good husband!

And Imlie always apologize and punish her self this way , so no new in her character

She hurt her sister without intention, she felt bad , so she apologize.

@bold: LOL woh toh he already thinks Malini hi achhi hai....low maintenance despite the incessant phone calls, crazy mother, and bouts of insecurity.๐Ÿ˜†... Imlie feels like more work to Adi cuz she is "Jhalli", right? Hospital pahunch ke bas aur bojh hi banti hai Adi pe.....which he manages to forget in a couple of days anyways๐Ÿ˜†

I understand what you are trying to say re: the rest but I honestly feel that the transition post Imlie's return from the hospital after the gunshot wound has been very choppy in terms of continuity.....Adi has retreated to some kind of static state where other than the few stray scenes of him showing concern for Imlie within the house, the story didn't really move......instead the writers have gone overboard showing Imlie-Malini scenes.....I don't have an issue with sisterly bonding but it needs to not go overboard or it starts looking artificial.

Worth noting that they barely show Imlie's one on one scenes with the family members these days....it's all built around Malini....Imlie either hangs in the background as part of the crowd or she only steps up to constantly keep apologizing to Malini for something.

He didn't ponder over the contrast of the two coins in his hand.....everything once again got limited to "Malini hurt ho gayi".....nothing before or after that.

By pondering I mean that much only. At this stage Aditya is incapable of thinking beyond Malini . He's too deeply concerned about what may or may not hurt her. In a way that scene where Aditya is kneeling before her , holding her thighs and soothing her reminded me of the scene where Moon got locked inside the room N Imlie witnessed their intimacy and later Aditya saying really terrible things to her ,literally calling her his sabse badi galti.

Now why am I saying all these ?? Whenever Malini gets hurt and petulant over Imlie or Imlie is somehow in the picture, Aditya's kneejerk reaction to damage control the situation is to belittle Imlie, thereby instantly making Malini happy. During these times the mask of extra goodness falls off her face and we see the very human very flawed Malini who instantly gets satisfied by the reassurance that for Aditya Imlie means nothing and she's everything , instead of getting shocked or protesting why Aditya talking about Imlie in such a manner. Many instances come to mind, when Malini was behaving similarly when she found out Imlie was brought by Aditya from Pagdandiya and he hadn't mentioned it to her, she behaved like this in the mall and Aditya promptly said Imlie is nothing. Also in the hospital after her fainting episode, Aditya called Imlie jootein mein phansi kankar and she was adequately soothed.

This time Aditya didn't at least call Imlie such similar derogatory things to pacify her. Doesn't that count as improvement?? He again and again reiterated her importance but didn't resort to the cheap way of name calling Imlie like he has always done.

Honestly some times we forget what a monster he'd been to Imlie, especially whenever his precious Malini gets hurt so that we miss to appreciate the amount of growth in Aditya's character.

Malini is still the most important person in Aditya's life so whenever she's hurt and upset it's only expected that all other thoughts will leave his mind . If it was the Aditya from before , the moment Malini left the room he'd have taken out the Imlie's coin and thrown it in the dustbin in frustration that it's the root cause of her hurt. But here he didn't blame her and just sad that Malini was saddened.

And I personally didn't appreciate the makers trying to show that Malini-Imlie think in the same way....cuz that's just not true....it hasn't happened in the story before this....they are different in their thinking....but just for the purpose of this scene when poor Imlie gave Adi the most valuable thing she had left, the makers insisted on duplicating that by showing Malini with the same. And to make it worse, they then didn't leave any opportunity for Adi to even dwell on the value of Imlie's gift because the whole scene shifted to Malini demanding attention and him groveling in front of her.....lol

That is kind of the point though ,isn't it ?? The value that is imposed on a gift by our heart is often times directly related to the value of the person in our lives. Malini's coin does not have the heartfelt sentiment or emotional value or history attached to it's coin but since it is given by Malini who by herself is enough, it's equally important for Aditya so that it's holding it's own place in a palm. No matter how valuable a gift Imlie gives him and no matter how much he's momentarily touched or affected by the gesture ,the moment Malini comes into picture all that goes out of the window, and Aditya all but forgets the effect and Imlie is literally left standing outside Aditya's room and heart while Malini is rightfully inside.

Adi acknowledged Imlie's value in his life on his own today and that was a big step, but within moments of that, Malini demanded his attention and fealty in a sense, and all thoughts of Imlie flew from his mind yet again.....which left me wondering if there was even any point to him remembering Imlie in that Thank You speech to begin with when it didn't follow up to anything worthwhile๐Ÿ˜†

It was a scrap thrown at us to be satisfied for now. Though if it were left to my opinion ( I'm a petty and bitter person after all ๐Ÿ˜†) if you can't acknowledge a person aloud in front of the world what value it has of remembering them . Basically to emphasize the same point the difference of place Malini and Imlie holds in his lives. Malini is the ruler of his heart and home and life and Imlie is like saaya or shadow, always there but not really seen or appreciated.
