If people can digest insane amount of vulgarity, nudity, gore ,sexual content in all its flagrant hues , including multiple rape and incestuous scenes and still praise a show like Game of thrones to high heavens because yes the story and story telling both are exceptional, then why can't we make peace with EMA and still continue to watch and support this show as long as the story and story telling are good at least tolerable ??

Why are we even trying to defend it or trying to validate it as marriage when we need not do such a thing ?? It actually comes from a deep need to put the leads on pedestals and hero worship them, searching for moral high grounds.

Aditya and Imlie are two common flesh and blood human beings and as long as we accept that, we can accept all their follies and mistakes and any future sins and still continue to be entertained by them, which is the entire point of the story.

If we want to get inspired, we should watch something like Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan , ever green and ever inspiring.

Most of the western tv shows and web series that are worth giving a shot are full of very human characters with extreme human follies . People still love , support and ship them.

Yaar, I have seen so many American dramas as well as European dramas. And also I loved , love will love the characters like Heisenberg, Jessie, Hannibal, even Leyland Palmer who raped his own daughter, I loved every BrBa characters , all these fellows are pure grey characters. I've also watched many shows where ema plays an important part.

But they are not glorified anything. Makers showed nothing in the light of right or wrong; they just portrayed the characters, character development, story as raw as it could be.

Why should go to foreign shows, just look at Sacred Games. It's one of my favourite show and Ganesh Gaitonde is one of my favourite characters. He killed more than 80 muslims and he specifies that he want to kill the innocents not only muslims, but wanted to kill innocent muslims and he killed. But I loved him and makers never glorified his doings. Why Ganesh? Shahid Khan who planted nuclear bomb in India, even I loved him. Jojo, a pimp I loved her. Bunty a women abuser, liked him bcz neither Vikramaditya motwane nor Anurag Kashyap glorified it or the author Vikram Chandra never glorified it

So what I'm opposing is, glorifying EMA. If I am person only likes red rosses canvas I'd hate and disagree with Kunal which I didn't. Like Silsila, Imlie also glorifying EMA which is not right. They can show it without justifying it. I loved the ema of Marty Hart from true detective because they never justified or glorified. Just showed what happens in real world

But honestly, Malini is perfectly suitable for Aditya as well as his family. She's most adjusting and accommodating and has all the qualities of being the perfect wife and future mother. In real life , what Adini share is the dream marriage scenario and if Imlie was not there , it'd not just have been a successful marriage , it'd have been an example of ideal marriage or perfect couple.

The only thing that is lacking in their marriage is that it lacks thrill or spice so runs the risk of running into boredom. Which is in fact very fitting and relevant in this case because in reality too most affairs occur because one of the spouses or both gets bored with the monotony of it and starts looking for thrill or change. It's not like every spouse who ever cheats have roving eye tendencies from the beginning. Which is why nowadays so much emphasis in being given on spicing up your marital life.

Imlie will win over Malini because she challenges him , she brings lots of fun N a sense of adventure in his life and somewhere beneath his cool serious mask , Aditya craves all of that. Imlie is khatta mitha while Malini is perfectly sweet .

Honestly I can't answer yaar. Shayad maybe because viewers Adilie ko pati patni maante he, isliye. Ofcourse they are not promoting EMA. After all this is not a normal case na? That shaadi wala stuff here so, they will be automatically justified if they indulge in a relationship as people will say Adi acknowledged her as patni. So Moolitya case is complex. Kuch bhi, abhi se mujhse koi judgement vagera vagera nahi hogi😁 main tho immature che aur upar se ye sab deknhe ka nazre alg hote hai aur mera soch narrow hai.
