LOL yep😆.....asli test toh tab hoga when Adi loses his patience with Mrs.C big time and Malini will struggle to choose b/w her mom and her husband.
The very fact that after so much horrible behavior also Malini isn't able to see her Mom for what she actually is....that is going to be a cause for long term problems b/w her and Adi.
@bold: Exactly....I honestly don't know why every topic in this forum keeps bringing up Silsila references.....the storylines and characters are completely different. But so many people insist on comparing them😕.
As far as I know that show was about an active EMA.....the husband wasn't forced into any affair, he chose it actively.
Here, Adi-Imlie were trapped together by destiny, and secondly they are married per rituals....so this isn't a case of attraction overpowering people into having an EMA.
I also find it incomprehensible how people are comparing a relationship as chaste as that of Adi-Imlie where they aren't even attracted to each other yet, to a show where the EMA was built on the overactive hormones of two people.
Imlie has the backdrop of bigamy, not EMA. I hope people can understand the difference.

I mean the Sarpanch himself was the one who got them married . In villages, isn't he the head and its his office that register marriages. So it is a legal marriage. Plus all the rasams that happened afterwards, happened first with Imlie and then with Malini. Even Pathphera, Imlie first visited her father's house with Aditya and then her mother's house.

I'm actually not sure about the legality of the marriage cuz I'm not sure if the Sarpanch registered their marriage.....but as per rituals, they were properly married with many people in the village as witnesses.
This is why I'm saying that the legality of the marriage will be a seperate issue once the truth gets revealed.....right now, no one is even talking about that because Adi is choosing to bury his head in the sand and pretend that the marriage with Imlie didn't count so that he can only consider his marriage with Malini valid. But burying your head in the sand doesn't change the truth....the status of Adi-Imlie's marriage wasn't clarified before Adi married Malini....so for all practical purposes, he has committed bigamy by marrying another woman without dissolving the previous marriage. And this will likely come back to bite him at some point.....lol
For the purpose of drama and TRPs, the makers will keep showing rituals with both Imlie and Malini....lol....but at this point, no one can clearly say which marriage is valid/invalid. Both happened with full rituals.

Waise bore wala dialogue muzhe lagta hai deliberately likha tha writer. Oh writer bhai yahan ate ho to yaad rakhna, we want adilie and only adilie.
Adi-Imlie have barely begun to become friends....so in such a scenario if Imlie starts getting labeled the "other woman" so early on, what does that mean for their burgeoning equation with each other?
I get why Imlie will be considered the "other woman" in the eyes of Malini and Anu....especially Anu who is psychotic about PD and anyone from PD......but I think if the writers go down that road, it will become too dark a theme for the show. Adi has shown no signs so far of standing up for Imlie if she gets accused of being the other woman even though she is technically his first wife.....so I'm not sure they can go that route at this point because it will open up a big drama that they aren't ready to explore yet.
Unless, as they conveniently do....Adi will remain missing from any such scenarios where it is implied he has an illicit relationship with Imlie and it will just be the women doing tamasha in his absence😆.....then Imlie may herself try to leave yet again😆.....so far, it hasn't even occurred to Imlie that someone can accuse her of something like that....she thinks the problem only is that she's married to him but she can't tell anyone in the city.....lol she doesn't seem to realize the bigger problems awaiting her.
Malini uniting Adi-Imlie is a long way away if at all😆.....first we have to jhelo these endless rounds of "Is she suspicious, is she not suspicious" for now it seems🤔.
@bold yup I was talking of the distant unknown future. Only discussed the "other woman" theory in response to what others here I've said. I don't view, have never viewed and will never view Imlie as the other woman. I'm firmly in the "Adilie marriage is valid" camp. 😊
@red I think that accusation has already cropped up through Anu's words. It's only a matter of time before she repeats those words in front of Adilie and I guess that will be the moment Adi will finally stands up to his favourite foe, Mrs Chaturvedi. I don't think it's farfetched to think that Adi would stand up for Imlie because he's already unable to tolerate anyone humiliating Imlie and such an accusation would be the greatest attack on her character which Adi won't allow.
@blue Yeah Imlie is very innocent like that. When she told Adi she considers him to be her husband, she was clearly just focussing on the significance of the wedding rituals and symbols. She wasn't thinking about any other connotation that that statement carries. When she inevitably starts being physically attracted to her hubby, well well well, the fun will really begin. 😆
