See I just knew (I think I mentioned it in one of my past posts) Anu would start sowing the seed of doubt in Malini's mind. It's interesting that for a split second Malini was actually taken in by it cos she had a flashback of the moment when Adi said he'd visited Imlie at the hospital. She obviously came back to her usual sugary self and dismissed it but I feel this is the start of something that will shake up Malini's character. I wonder how long she'll be able to curb that seed of doubt from growing as she sees Adi and Imlie inevitably getting closer and closer. I think no matter how long she tries to see things with rose tinted glasses on, the green eyed monster (jealousy) will get her.

What do you guys think? Do you think Malini will start taking a leaf out of her mum's book and start behaving in a way which will turn things sour between her and Adi?

Heck I want some drama and anything that will actually give Malini's character a different shade. I'm tired of her constant sugary behaviour around Adilie. Whilst Imlie is actually welcoming that, do you notice that Adi always looks uncomfortable everytime Imlie and Malini show alot of affection to each other? If so...why is that?

@bold: LOL that is the million dollar question....Anu constantly compares her situation to Malini's and tries to show that she also had a happy marriage with Dev before he went to PD and it was only after that that she turned psychotic as she currently is. But Malini so far isn't psychotic like her mother....and it's an open question whether she will ever get there or only keep becoming more mahaan with time. 😆.....the makers are keeping their cards open with her so far.

I don't think Malini will directly become like her mom anytime soon but she may start questioning some things more with Adi.....so far she's been part of the "We all love Imlie" brigade along with the rest of the family, so it would take something big for her to feel insecure enough to sour things b/w her and Adi....and so far there hasn't been anything like that. Just seeing Adi standing next to Imlie in the corridor ain't gonna trigger her to that extent I feel😆.

Re: Adi's reaction to Malini-Imlie ki extra sugary bonding😆....I think he gets uncomfortable because in that moment, he can't have blinders on about the truth. When he's with either Malini or Imlie seperately, he can seperate his equations with both, respectively. But in that moment when both the women are hugging like sisters, he is reminded of the uncomfortable truth that he can't escape.

Imlie welcomes any affection from Malini cuz she's basically like a pure hearted child....she absorbs any affection without reading into the before and after too much.....and her conscience is clear because she isn't trying to encroach on anyone's rights. She is just.....existing😆 for now.

Heyyy I'm sorry... I was not expressing my concepts, as per society's conventional standards. Being an indian how can I mock at dark complexion? We are all considered as black in the world.

I'm sad that I hurted ur feelings.,but I only meant social standars which are utterly bullshits. I've friends and relatives who are dark skinned, but never thought they are not beautiful. However Imlie's facial structure is not pretty as Malini's. I have said in my earlier comments that Sumbul is cute but Imlie ko kuch acha looks dena chahiye like her post mrg Pagdandia wala looks. I've always said she is cute. Even Deepika Padukone and PCJ are dark skinned and they are one of the most beautiful ladies in Bwood. Anyway it was my fault that I didn't specify it was according to the rubbish conventional standards. I apologise

According to Delhi society, Imlie is the dusri aurat & according to Pagdandiya society, Malini is the dusri aurat. Adilie will fall in love in Delhi, so it makes total sense that Imlie will be viewed as the other woman & that Anu will be able to say “I told you so” to Malini one day. I agree with you that they are foreshadowing Malini’s role in uniting Adilie eventually. Malini will experience what Anu went through but the difference will be that she’ll come to accept Adilie’s relationship & won’t continue a loveless marriage with Adi the way Anu did with Dev. She’s being portrayed as this perfect saint for that specific reason.

Adi-Imlie have barely begun to become friends....so in such a scenario if Imlie starts getting labeled the "other woman" so early on, what does that mean for their burgeoning equation with each other?

I get why Imlie will be considered the "other woman" in the eyes of Malini and Anu....especially Anu who is psychotic about PD and anyone from PD......but I think if the writers go down that road, it will become too dark a theme for the show. Adi has shown no signs so far of standing up for Imlie if she gets accused of being the other woman even though she is technically his first wife.....so I'm not sure they can go that route at this point because it will open up a big drama that they aren't ready to explore yet.

Unless, as they conveniently do....Adi will remain missing from any such scenarios where it is implied he has an illicit relationship with Imlie and it will just be the women doing tamasha in his absence😆.....then Imlie may herself try to leave yet again😆.....so far, it hasn't even occurred to Imlie that someone can accuse her of something like that....she thinks the problem only is that she's married to him but she can't tell anyone in the city.....lol she doesn't seem to realize the bigger problems awaiting her.

Malini uniting Adi-Imlie is a long way away if at all😆.....first we have to jhelo these endless rounds of "Is she suspicious, is she not suspicious" for now it seems🤔.

I personally find Imlie quite beautiful....she has very pretty features, especially her eyes which are very expressive.

As a personality, she has amazing screen presence and charm that holds your attention. This show simply wouldn't work if Sumbul hadn't been cast as Imlie. She lights up the screen and has been a big part of the reason I've been drawn to the show. She not only has screen presence but acts quite well too for a girl so young.

Also , it is very significant that Aditya just brought back the idol of Sitaa Maiya from the hospital for Imlie but it was Malini who gave Imlie's Sitaa Maiyaa her proper place of respect in the house . A clear indication that in the future , even if Aditya falls for Imlie he'll always keep her hidden like a dirty secret , the way Dev did , never thinking of giving her the acknowledgement and respect or position of a wife. But Malini when she'll find out about it will fight for Imlie's rights and establish her as Aditya's wife and DIL of Tripathi house and in the society.

In That case the serial has gone in its sad state... It will be like Imlie ko Adi bheek me milega.. she is loosing all her personality to get Adi... aise milker bhi kya maja.. Malini is the main heroin then who is doing all the sacrifices... Also why will Malini give Adi to Imlie... Why can't makers just make Adini and give Imlie's life a next start...

My point is if Adilie has to happen it should happen in style so that viewers can cherish it... Or else take the serial in new direction... why holding Imlie with Adi...

Also in this serial... Dev is so boring that Imlie's revelation of being his daughter had no effect on audience.. it was so flat... How nicely they carried it in Kulfi Kumar Bajewala... Father daughter relation... At Staring i was comparing this show with Kulfi only later from forum came to know about IK remake...

I will still watch the show with patience, maybe makers are trying to give some direction to story and these are filler or building up episodes.. Hope Gul does not disappoint us.

I wouldn’t compare Imlie & Malini’s looks because they are styled completely differently. They are deliberately downplaying Sumbul’s beauty because her character is supposed to be from a village, whereas the wardrobe & makeup team goes full out on Mayuri cos her character is this stylish professor from a city. I too am waiting for the day Imlie gets used to city life & gets a wardrobe change but I still think Sumbul is beautiful even in this minimalistic current styling. Her smile is everything ❤️

Mauli was so much better. Though she was initially so naive that it sets our teeth at edge , after she found out about the ultimate betrayal, her reaction was heart wrenchingly relatable and raw and real and instantly got every single viewer on her side and catapulted the actress into overnight stardom.

Adilie are giving too much KunDini vibes nowadays.

Agree... Even I started that show for Kunal and Nadini and Mauli actress i did not know.. but that serial made me big supporter of Mauli and as Kundini was not justified in any ways to me... I just don't want Adilie go that way...

From what i perceive from today episode is that anu instigating malini will continue jn future. Whether malini would turn grey later that time will tell.

Perhaps the makers want afitya to see the difference between both the girls . Example imli love is selfless. Though being the first wife she sacrificed. Aditya has realised this. He is still on guilt trip mode.

Anu instigating malini will make things worse for adini. Coz she will turn selfish in her love for aditya. She eill try to pull aditya towards her. Perhapsceven behave harshly with imli. Aditya will see everything with his own eyes and realise that imli love is selfless . She gave him away easily and malini on the other hand is acting selfish thinking abouf herself. U never know she might even be possessive for aditya. So indirectly putting up imli image and pinning down malini image in adityas eyes so that he will naturally be drawn to imli.

What i predict is that the moon jap that he is continuously chanting will someday change into imli jaap. The more sweet malini is now the bitter she will become later on. Thanks to her own mother.

So since some of u guys predict they will go ishti kutum way. They might downgrade imli character and make malini mahaan . I doubt actually. Coz i think it will be the other way round. This show is about imli . The audience like her. Trp is high becoz of her. So i dont think they dare tarnish her image coz that will disapoint audience and if audie.nce get mad then u know what happens to trps.

So i predict the other way round. A change in malini personality will be there. Her jealousy and possesiveness will push aditya yowards imli.

And the fact that malini put sita maiya statue with the rest in altar could be an undication of her giving her place to imli in tripathis hse. And i dont think with due respect like how she placed the statue. But indirectly. I think malini will turn grey . The more positive they show her now will reveal her negativity later one. Coz anu likes to interfere in her life. And now she is already after imli.

I am with you on that she should stop being a "sweetness ki dukhan" and has another layer. But I think that's her coping mechanism. She cannot handle unpleasantness and hence she is always trying to divert attention or explain or change things so that everything is back to an happy environment. If you see all her interactions during marriage, Anu used to create a scene and she used to just put a bandage on it, by making excuses, by giving it a positive take or simply avoiding it. Any other women would have been so mad that the groom is making work his priority over marriage but she was like "OK, no worries" because she does not want to face the fact that she is not the priority nor confront it with Adi. Even when Imlie was in the hospital, she saw everybody crying and she wanted to do something to move them away from that unpleasant situation. When that did not work, she picked up the first available excuse to walk away. This is how she deals with life and I think her this behavior is to do with her upbringing. With her parents always being at each other throats, she might have just learned to avoid the situation, ignore it, change it and thus be in her happy bubble where there is no chance of any negativities to touch.

Same is the case with her relationship with Adi, which in my opinion is very unhealthy. There are talks, there is comfort, but there are no discussion, no confrontation, no arguments. Adi says something, Malini nods her head. Malini says something, Adi nods his head. Even during the marriage ceremony, Aditya was so disturbed, so not happy, not his normal self but not once did Malini even think, ask, notice or realize that here groom was almost on the verge of losing it. She was in her own happy world. Women are known for their intuition and with a 7 year relationship it should be instant , but the protective shell that she has put around her, did not even let her notice things that might even have a pinch of sadness attach to it. . One time when it reached her, which is when Aditya told her about his marriage and subconsciously she realized that there is no way she can turn it around, avoid it, explain it away, she went into a panic attack.

I think its going to be the same with Adi and Imlie. It might prick her, Anu might point it out, but she is always going to find excuses, avoid it, ignore it, or explain it away till it all comes crashing down at her. I would, at this point, just call her unlucky, because previously when Adi had told her about it, he would have stood next to her, be her support, be firm is his decision on who he wants as a life partner and they could have handled the situation as a team. (but then there would be no drama 😛) This time when she finds out, Aditya might feel guilty, he will be sorry, he would take the blame but will he be on her side, will she be his choice of a life partner, will he still be in love with her? Well, only time will tell us that.

Well, I do not consider Imlie as the second women or Malini as the first or vice versa. For me, Imlie is the first wife, Malini the second. Its kind of right currently, because Imlie knows Aditya loves Malini and she has accepted it. Thus, I feel it should be same for Malini i.e. to make it right for Malini in future, if and when Adi falls out of love with her, she should be the first one to know i.e. Adi confession to Imlie should only happen after the revelation to Malini. The acceptance should come from Malini, almost like how it came from Imlie when she gave her her chunri.
